Used Ford Escape for sale in Columbus, OH

Let me start by saying I have been a Mach 1 Mustang fan since the early 1970's when Ford first introduced them. Unfortunately I was only 17 and to young to buy one. Then In 1977 I had the great fortune to be attending college with Jeff Krieger. Fast forward to present day. i saw an ad for a 2004 Screaming Yellow Mach 1 at Krieger. Long story, I talked to Jeff and he said he couldn't do much on the price but he would help with the shipping down here to my house in Florida. Sounded like a great deal, and I got hooked up with the Used car Mgr. Dennis Fritz. Well my wife and I had some issues whether to buy the car and were pretty on and off for about a week. Dennis showed extreme patience and absolutely no pressure over the many back and forth phone calls. Finally we decided to purchase the car. He handled everything and sent down the paperwork FedEx. The the next set of road blocks came up when I took the paperwork the bank and the bank was closed due the pandemic. I called Dennis and he suggested a wire transfer, However the next morning the bank was open but the lady could not notarize the paperwork since I had already signed. Rookie mistake on my part, but she was able to do lose notary. So then I mailed the paperwork and Dennis got everything, and said everything looked good, and now he just needed to find a transport truck. Problem being this was the time of the snowstorm on the east coast and the transport companies he uses were stuck due to the storm Now its the holidays and Christmas and so far they still can't find a transport until maybe next week. So all I can say is Geno is trying to help out while Dennis is on vacation, but so far they both have done a wonderful job. This has just been a lesson in patience, which has run thin on my part at times, but Dennis deserves an A for all he has done to try to help me through this bumpy process. As soon as we can get this shipping issue underway I am sure I will be ha happy camper and highly recommend Krieger ford.

I am pleased with my decision to purchase this Ford Escape. Must have been made with me in mind. I am a retired outgoing senior lady. Great style, color and just the right size. Excellent gas mileage and I simply love the comfy ride.

Bought the vehicle in December of 2020. First new car I've bought in over 20 years. Absolutely love this vehicle. Great gas mileage. 3 cylinder, turbo that has some is powerful. Great back up camera and love the big screen display for the radio. Easy to reach controls. Easy to reach cup holders. Plenty of room inside, don't feel cramped. Rides smooth for such an economical car.

Great AWD hybrid option. Nice tech features but not too much. Like the app. Comfy accommodations. Plastic door panels look like cheap crocs though. Otherwise: Recommended!

The Ford escape we just purchase from varsity Ford in novi is outstanding along with their sales people. The sales people were awesome. They were professional and courteous and the general manager Jerry law was outstanding. I would recommend going to this dealer and purchasing this Type of car. car They will go out of their way for you to make your car buying a good experience.

The service department went Over and above for me when I took the car in when it made a loud noise and couldn’t figure out what was wrong also the dealership folks did a good job also for me when I bought my car there they are great group of people

New car drives great it has everything I asked for. My granddaughters love it, they can’t wait to take it on vacation.they love the fact that I made sure they would have air conditioning

This vehicle was my sons first car that he saved up and helped pay for. The performance material on seats was nice to have the heated seat option with it. My son totaled his Escape after rear ending a car at a red light going over 45 mph. The car kept him safe and he walked away with no injuries. I was impressed with how safe this car kept my son and am thankful. We had no mechanical issues during the time he was driving it before the accident. It was fairly expensive for a small used car but it is mighty.

After several poor experiences at other lots my wife and I called Car Source to inquire about a vehicle. Bob Bauer answered the call, was very polite, answered our questions and invited us to come in. We decided to go in and find Bob. He happened to be the gentleman who came outside to greet us in the cold and offered to show us our vehicle of interest. Bob was not pushy and offered transparent answers to all of our questions. The rest of the sales and management staff were also exceptionally nice. They got us good financing and the process didn't take terribly long. Having sold cars for 8 years myself, I feel that our experience at Car Source was overall a excellent one. Will recommend Bob and Car Source and will shop there again!

We already had a 2016 S model that was trouble free for 4 years and currently 48k miles. I replaced my spare car with the 2013 SEL AWD loaded like a Titanium. After 2 years it has been fantastic. Only trouble was 2 bad rear wheel speed sensors. Cost me $54 in parts to replace myself. Many 250 mile interstate round trip drives and never an issue. It had 62k miles when I bought it with full documentation of all minor repairs and maintenance. Regardless of reviews I got a good one. Check the history, check out before you buy, and you can find a good one like I did. They are not all bad.

This is my second Ford Escape. My first was a 2003. I loved both. I purchased my 2013 in mid-2012 and special ordered it for the color (Red). I have the 2.0 liter engine, which is important. The smaller engine has been prone to fires and other problems but not the 2.0. I have had minor recalls for things like a seatbelt and something else. I love the color, I am happy with how it performs. I was a little concerned about performance when I bought it because it is a 4.0 cylinder and I had been driving 6 cylinder engines prior to this purchase. Not an issue. My only one complaint is that it said it got better gas mileage than it does. However, I have gone from driving a lot of freeway miles when it did perform better to now driving locally and maybe using a tank of gas a month.

By far best dealer experience I've ever had with car dealership. Never pushy and was as friendly as you could ever ask for. Two thumbs up!!!

Have had mine for 4 years and it has been one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. Mine is the SE trim which is not fancy, but has all the basics and more. The seats are comfortable on long drives. The controls are easy to use and properly placed foe ease of use. The 2.0 L engine is surprisingly peppy. The ride is smooth and comfortable for a small SUV.

I purchased a Toyota Highlander and had an excellent experience. I was struck by Rachel Williams professionalism, mannerisms and skill. She took care of me very friendly. A surprisingly quick, fuel efficient, pleasant to drive vehicle. I recommend buying the Titanium version to receive all the benefits of owning the Escape. We’ll worth the additional cost.

I purchased 2019 Honda Civic Sedan. I was very pleased with the knowledge that Mikale Long provided for me. He went above and beyond to answer any and all questions that I asked. It was very windy and cold on March 14, 2023. Mikale Long brought several vehicles inside that I had questions on so that I could see and them for my self. That's where the above and beyond come in. He braved the cold so that I would not have to. I greatly appreciated his courtesy, knowledge, manners and respect he showed towards me. I bought my 2018 escape se with 41,000 miles. It’s was a gold certified pre owned vehicle with a 60,000 mile warranty. It’s currently sitting at 86,000 miles and has spent no time in the shop other than basic maintenance and brakes. It runs, drives, and handles beautifully and that 1.5 ecoboost has plenty of power. Highly recommend this vehicle. We absolutely love our Escape!

We called Lindsay to purchase our sixth Acura - five of which came from Lindsay. Our regular salesman had moved over to the Honda lot (Shannon Dailey) so we were recommended to a new salesman, Thad Beaver. We live in the WV/KY/OH Tri-State area, which is almost three hours from Columbus so we wanted to do as much work as possible over the phone. Thad is remarkable! If I could give him ten stars, he deserves it. He found the perfect vehicle for us and met my husband in Chillicothe to deliver it, saving him a few hours of time in getting the new MDX. We are loyal Lindsay customers because of the service that is offered at this dealership. We bought our first Acura locally but found that the deals, service, and personal attention that we have received three hours north in Columbus keeps us coming back.

I bought mine used with 17,000 miles for $17,000, and it's a 2017. I guess 17 was the lucky number lol. My Escape drives well, feels very comfortable, and is pretty good on gas (average 4 banger gas milage ) beats any 6 or 8 cylinder. I have the base model , so the engine isn't the fastest, but I'm not racing anyone ever. I never feel underpowered, or unsafe on highways. This little truck holds own in any senerio. I'm not sure why people are giving negative reviews maybe competitors trying to sell their brands🤔 . This is a good suv , and it looks great. I would buy it again, it keeps me warm and safe in Chicago winters. Cranks everytime I turn the key even in sub zero temps. I remember Chicago being the coldest place on the planet for 24 hours a couple of years ago. I worked that night I believe it was -50 or close with the wind chill. I worked that night as a nurse , my escape ran like a trooper. If a vehicle runs in Chicago winters .....it's a tank and passes my test hands down. My 2011 BMW x 3 ummmm.....failed as a winter vehicle. It costed twice as much BEFORE THE "CHIP SHORTAGE" PRICES . Need I say more ????

Last year I purchased a HR-V. Dwight All red was the person, who helped me with the purchase of my car. He did a wonderful job, selling the vehicle to me. He is very respectful, listen to what I wanted. I had traded my Honda Fit in for the HR-V. I'm very happy with my purchased. I recommend him to purchase a vehicle from.

I have about 7000 miles so far with no problem yet. I will take a long ride to Raleigh northcarolina in June so I am praying I have any problems. My first long trip. My back brakes squeak sometimes.

I have the car in multiple time to get the foot activated lift gate to work right and it still doesn't work most of the time.

I am a person there's a lot of hiking and camping and just driving and general. I love the force escape it's the right size for me very economical I am pleased with it I'd like the 2017 model I don't care for the newer models of the 2022 but I would not get rid of my car at all I want to stay with it because it's been very reliable.

I don't understand all these bad reviews.My transaction was pretty good. Brad S took care of me,handled the financing,which was a little bit tricky due to my not having any real loans since one in 2005,then one in 1990.I've never even had any utilities in my name.Plus it was Sunday shortly before closing time when I got there. I didn't even have to arrange a ride to go back to pick up the car.He volunteered to bring it to me,on his day off at that,and got it to me with lots of gas left,lol. My only complaint would be that I still haven't gotten copies of the paperwork,but to be fair,I haven't bothered contacting them to ask for it,so I figure it may very well be an honest oversight. They mailed my white title in plenty of time before the temp tag expired,and I got the "payment book",so I wasn't really worried about the other paperwork. I noticed a lot of the bad reviews are things that are the fault of the customers for not checking over the car before they bought it.That's OUR responsibility as customers to do the work of making sure the car is in good shape BEFORE we buy it,duh! If we were talking about a brand new car,then I agree that the dealer should make sure everything's good,but not at a small used dealership.

I was pleasantly surprised when i picked up the car today. This is a Ford Escape SEL 2018. It was immaculately cleaned. Lots of trunk space, I really enjoy the leather seats. Jere law at Varsity Lincoln Ford in Novi is an incredible salesman. He made sure that everything was taken car of for me. He really took the time to make sure i was happy. This is my first time owning a SUV. I am very happy with the service and dedication.

Murphy was an excellent sales rep to work with, he answered all my questions fast and accurately to my knowledge. i didn't feel pressured into buying anything i didn't want he also explained why sometime leasing a vehicle is better than a purchase. absolutely awesome service definitely recommend murphy. i haven't made a decision on which i would like a crv or the hrv but within the next few days i will see murphy

I thought from Day One I had a very stylish looking car for the price range. I was skeptical about a 3 cylinder but I have had no problems with it giving me the power I need. I am under the average for miles driven per year AND I LIKE MY ESCAPE!

Long story short, my wheel bearing went out on a trip to Hocking Hills. We limped to our cabin, and got my truck towed to Coughlin Ford the next day. We didn't arrive at the dealership until 4PM, getting close to closing time. I described my issue, and told them I was stuck in the Hocking Hills area, with just this vehicle, 200 or so miles from home (Toledo, OH)! Mike (service desk) was super helpful, and they got their top mechanic on the job right away. It took about an hour and a half to fix the wheel bearing (they had to order the part and get it there), and by 5:30 it was done! Mike showed me my bill, and they only charged me for an hour of service labor, plus the part. WAY cheaper than I was fearing. Super fast, very understanding and nice, worked with me, didn't gouge me in any way, and were a real blessing in my time of crisis. Heartily recommend. I wish more dealerships like this.
