Used 2006 Mitsubishi Eclipse for sale near Manchester, NH

In looking elsewhere decided not to proceed. Nothing to do with the dealership. Everything to do with the vehicle and price offered.

The interior is useless as a family car. Rip the back seats out, and just take the added trunk space. Performance wise, this model of GT is the fastest Eclipse to ever leave the factory, and in the GS form, turbos are easily installed on the 4G69; the big block of the 4G6# motor world, with the best flowing head of the series (sorry evo owners!). On an OEM evo intake manifold, it'll make peak power at 7200rpm, so it's a very happy motor to rev, with about a limit of 8200rpm on the stock valvetrain. Comfort wise, it's very nice on stock suspension without much float. Driving wise, in its stock form it's not as locked down as other sports cars, eg, Audi TT. Though that can be changed with fresh poly motor mounts, and stiffer sway bars or springs. Looks wise, it's bubbly. But once lowered a couple inches, it's there with the looks of a Porsche Reliability wise, with aggressive track use and 200,000 on the body (70,000 with me) total, 3 of the 4 wheel bearings are OEM, 2 sway bar end links had to be changed, and otherwise it has just been standard maintenance required. Keep in mind, the car is a GS running 500hp on a stock transmission, upgraded motor, and custom turbo setup. So when at the track, it sees far more abuse than a stock one ever would. For your typically daily driven car, it's fantastic. Commonly they last over 400,000km, but the main killer is the timing system. The timing belt AND balance shaft belt MUST be changed every 160,000km

Nick was great, had slight issue setting up kia connect app stuff. But that’s on technology not always cooperating, not the salesman. This car has always been reliable I love it and will miss it ! The only thing the car doesn’t have is A/C . Runs great the heat works , sunroof works .

I bought this as a summer car to save a little money on gas (daily driver has been a full size truck so far) and have something that was fun to drive. I love the manual transmission and the interior styling on the GT looks amazing! I would definitely recommend this car to anyone looking for a fun, affordable sports car.

I went looking for a specific car and they had one. I knew going into this search the car wouldn’t be perfect because of its age. They worked with me on so many levels to make the car exactly what I wanted and kept the price at or below the advertised price. This car is fun, great looking, fast and everyone loves it. It has a great sound system, sun roof and I have had a great time. I wish it wouldnt get old so I could continue to drive it. I can even haul wood because the back seat folds down! It's a little difficult for kids but honestly not terrible as I have a full sized car seat in it right now. I wish they still made them as I'd buy a new one.
