Excellent vision in all directions from the Forester. We like the no non-sense styling of the Touring 2.5i. Easy to get into and out of which matters if getting a few years on you. Very good gas mileage and handling with excellent performance. The AWD is certainly one of many key selling points. Fit and finish is excellent with very good reliability so far. We think it is a excellent SUV and would definitely purchase another Subaru SUV if needed.

Mario Lee was my salesman and the best one I ever dealt with. 👍🏽 He was very attentive, professional and friendly. I really appreciate how much he went above and beyond and how personable he was. He made me feel very comfortable and did not pressure me at all even when I initially went to look at the vehicle. While it was a week before I returned to take a final look before I purchased the vehicle, Mario was so responsive and quickly and effectively addressed any concerns or questions I had. I was so indecisive and kept contacting him to reiterate details. He was so patient and never came off persistent or annoyed. This is far my most positive experience compared to 7 other dealerships I delt with. When I purchased the vehicle Mario held his promise to ensure that the minor concerns were taken care of. I went into the dealership and was greeted immediately by a salesman Greig. He showed honesty, true interest in what I needed and zeroed in on the exact car I was looking for. It's the first dealership and I went into compared to the 5 others that I went into had highly qualified salesman who listen to what I wanted and not what they wanted to sell me. You can tell that Greig the salesman was a true professional which is rare in a dealership. He was on top of everything every step of the way. I never felt taken advantage of he did exactly what he said he was going to do and did it with speed and precision. I bought a 2016 Subaru and I Love it. Once the sale was over I thought I would be handed the keys and I would be on my way as most dealers wood do. That was not the case Greig took an appropriate amount of time to show me how everything works in my new Subaru. He further set up an appointment to come back this coming week for a refresher course and called me today to remind me about the appointment this week. I like the comfort and the visibility of this car. All who have ridden in it feel that it’s comfortable too. Love the eyesight package which gives warnings regarding blind spots and so forth. Find it very easy to parallel park. My only complaint is that the audio controls aren’t intuitive to use, at least for me.

Forester XT Touring or WRX on the down-low?

Wanting something all wheel drive naturally leads you to Subaru. If you're looking for something with some off road capabilities but also a steady commuter with some room to spare, the Forester is the sweet spot. The 2019 generation Foresters are great, but they lack the punch of the older turbo options. With the same 250+ HP, 258 lb-ft torque engine in the WRX, the 2.0 L turbo shaves off over 2 seconds from the 0-60 time of the standard 2.5i engine. And it's noticeable. It gets knocked for being paired to CVT but I find it to be smooth and has great throttle response in Sport mode. Off road and in snow it does really well and lives up to the hype. A lot of reviews don't consider the Forester to be that stylish on the exterior, but I think that's ultimately a matter of preference. I find the exterior to be simple but muscular with the XT having a meaner front end. Inside there are some good upgrades which finally make the Forester feel a bit more luxury including leather seats and accents, a quieter interior and a decent sound system. The Harmon/Kardon sound system still leaves a lot to be desired, however. It's very bass heavy without a lot of refinement. Overall the Forester XT with Touring trim offers some nice amenities with still staying true to the rugged nature Subaru is known for. Pros: fun to drive (3 driving modes, paddle shifters), great visibility, great off road capabilities, roomy back seat and trunk, giant sunroof Cons: lower gas mileage, premium fuel recommended, lack of interior refinement, weak infotainment system

The initial day we went to look, we were very happy leaving. We found something we loved, and Deb was amazing! We went back to do paperwork a few days later with Roger, who was also great to work with, and were told we could pick it up 24-48 hrs later. Friday came and there was a slight mix-up, but Eric and Deb took full responsibility for this mix-up and worked with us to fix it. Deb came in on her day off and we drove our car home the next day. Full disclosure: My girlfriend owns it, but I drive it a lot. I find the 2017 Forester to be a pretty decent small SUV. I find it comfortable and fairly well-designed. I'm not a huge fan of CVTs but find it has enough pep when I need it. The dash is fairly well-organized and all critical controls are knobs and buttons rather than buried in the touch screen like some cars. A few things could be slightly better organized but these are minor details. The Subaru infotainment system is pretty lacking and the touch screen is buggy sometimes. They're behind the curve on this. But overall it's a decent car even if I'd like it more with a 6 speed manual.

This SUV is a great vehicle for the money, and is extremely comfortable on long road trips. It has a smooth ride with ample power for around town use. I would have preferred an analog fuel gauge instead of the digital one.

I was originally looking at a 2011 chevy malibu that I had seen on the website. Our budget was between 250 and 350 a month. Jordan had asked us to consider a 2016 malibu as it would be better financially. The final number was 391/month so it was above the given budget but hopefully will work out in our favor. It was a VERY quick process, almost too quick as I feel some things weren't explained (like the warranties or gap insurance) very well if at all especially for this being my first time leasing a car. I felt very anxious not knowing what I was doing or what I was getting into until everything seemed to settle in place & work itself out. I'm happy with how everything turned out & I think I got a great car for a good price for what it's worth.

My 2nd Subaru Forester

My 1st Forester is a 2009 turbocharged model which is still going strong with 110,000 miles. The newer Foresters offer safety and convenience features mine doesn't have so I decided to upgrade. The 2019 Forester no longer offers the turbocharged version so I opted for a certified pre-owned 2018 XT Touring which has a turbocharger. I love the vehicle but because the turbo is no longer available, the used turbo versions have become quite pricey. I am keeping the old one for hauling dogs, lawn equipment and towing my utility trailer. The new one will be just for people for now. The vehicle is just the right size. I am 6'4" and would appreciate a little more leg room and thigh support but the Forester is as comfortable as any other small SUV I checked. There is plenty of headroom. The turbo does require premium fuel and has a lower mileage rating. With the turbo and sports tuned suspension, it is a fun vehicle to drive and worth the money to me. In over 10 years, the older one left me stranded only once when a drive belt broke after 100,000 miles. Based on reviews, I expect the same reliability from the newer one.

I love this dealership. I stopped on a whim when searching for a Tahoe. Steve informed me that they didn't have one in stock, but would be happy to look for one. In the meantime he showed me some explorers that he did have. I fell for the white limited. I love the car. After a no hassle sale, i took it home. A couple weeks later it developed an emission problem. They promptly took it in and gave me a loaner til mine was fixed. I have a hectic schedule and they always do what ever they can to work around it and get me going as fast as possible. Everyone is so helpful and friendly. My only gripe is that the lot is very tight and it can be difficult to find a parking spot. I recommend this dealership to anyone!!!

We can't say enough about how great the shopping and purchasing experience was with Mastria, and especially with Dereck. They really showed the difference between shopping with Mastria and other dealers! After researching a new Mazda3 GT with Mastria with another dealer in Metro West, we were actually leaning toward the dealer in Metro West (they had the color we wanted most), but after three days of emailed questions, delays and impersonal attitude, we gave up on their internet sales dept. On the Mastria website, I negotiated a price with Pedro over their online chat, set up an appointment to come in, drive the car we were purchasing, and do the paperwork. No stress, no pressure, and the price we were looking for! When we went to the showroom, and our trade was appraised, Dereck found that the dealer who had sold it to us (which was NOT Mastria) had broken the law, and not disclosed frame damage to the vehicle – which made our trade worth next to nothing. We were disappointed, but what could we do? Dereck, on the other hand, kept going after we went home – he found a buyer for the trade who would pay double what Mazda was able to approve. Still not a ton of money, but it was the idea that Dereck kept thinking about it, after we had agreed to the low trade value and went home, that really impressed us. He and his supervisors Jon & Barry put their heads together and found us a better option. If you really want a dealership that *does* go above and beyond, go to Mastria Mazda. We'll be telling our friends, and anyone else who will listen!

At our first meeting, Rick listened to my concerns and correctly diagnosed my problem. To my delight he informed me, the issue was under warrantee and the repairs would be of NO CHARGE to me. I like this vehicle except for the engine shutting off when stopped. it does have an override switch, but if I forget to set it the engine will automatically shut off. that's the only thing I don't like about this car.
