I really enjoy almost everything about the car. It drives well, good features, good mileage for AWD. I wish the body was not so low to the ground ( easy to scrape on curbs etc ) but I want a sedan and it seems all sedans now are low like this one nowadays.

Talk about a sleek car with available iSight camera system that helps ensure the safety of everyone in the vehicle. Comes with adaptive cruise control and lane keep assist. Automatic braking to avoid front end collion. Reverse camera with automatic braking and sensors to alert you of oncoming objects usually not in your immediate view when reversing. The day time running lamps are the sharpest looking thing on the road, I prefer them over my BMW LED day time running lamps. In terms of comfort you have all premium leather heated seats with a wood grain front panel that gives off a modern style. Steering wheel paddle shifters with AWD give you superb control. Keyless entry and push to start engine means you can quickly get in and go! Has the new shark fin antenna that flows with the vehicle. Automatic on/off headlamps and awesome fog lamps that individually turn on when making a turn to increase your visibility of the immediate low ground road which allows you to dodge every pothole.

7/1/18 When we first walked into the Bertera showroom every staff member was busy with a client. However Dan Leary immediately made time for us. Dan brought my wife and I to the Forester we found on Bertera's website. Dan knew most of the history of the car even though it had been in the lot for a few months. Dan then introduced us to Rich Santoni who knew even more about the particular Forester we asked about. Rich answered our questions and he immediately set up a comparison test drive for us in both a 2015 Forester and a 2015 Outback. Rich left mid week on a well deserved vacation and introduced us to Joe Bucko over the phone to help with any further inquiries. Both Rich and Joe from the Sales team answered every question we asked with no hesitation. If they did not have the answer at hand, they found out within minutes. Ashley from the Finance Team helped us make the best choices based upon our needs as we described them to her. Ashley utilized her extensive history in her role to explain the pros and cons of each option we considered. This was the most relaxing experience I have ever had spending a large sum of money in less than 2 hours. (My relaxed demeanor was commented upon by one of the staff members.) A testament to our experience with the great people at Bertera Subaru.

I love the look, performance, features, comfort and reliability. I have owned VW's, Ford Pinto, Audi Fox, Honda Accord, Toyota Tercel, Chevy Malibu, Chevy Impala and a 1942 Pontiac that was a gift from an old neighbor who went into a Nursing Home in 1964. I had the most fun in the '42 but my Legacy is by far the nicest car I have ever owned.

In mid-November, 2015 I bought my 2015 Subaru Legacy with help from Gus (no longer w/Steve Lewis) and he was great - articulate and efficient. The tech person who helped me e.g. sync my phone etc. (Julie) was helpful too. The 1,000 mile "check-up" was uneventful. I had the 6,000 mile service conducted at about 5,800 miles b/c it was convenient to me; that was about three weeks ago. It was done quickly; and when I left the lot I felt all was good. I did however need follow-up help with two issues: (a) once my odometer reached 6,000 miles, when I turned on the car I was offered help to schedule my 6,000 mile service (which had been done); and, (b) my phone had become "unsynced" from the car. So, I called expecting it to be a hassle to figure things out. I was told to come over at my earliest convenience, which I did that day (afternoon of Friday, March 11). The guy at the service desk (sorry I didn't get his name) listened to my description of what I needed help with and summoned Benny Cruz who accompanied me to my car and in 15 minutes he had me on my way with everything "made right". I want to thank the Steve Lewis Subaru staff who fielded my call and emphasized they wanted to fix my problems ASAP, the gentleman at the desk who listened carefully to my "problems" and then summoned the aforementioned Mr. Cruz who was quick, very competent and polite. I recently said goodbye to my 16 year old Subaru Forester and I was so sad! So, I went to Bertera, met Jeremy Schmieding in Sales, and he really helped me in my decision to buy a 2017 Forester. It is a big difference between the new and the 2002 model, and I was a bit apprehensive about the size (much bigger than I thought) and the "new" dashboard controls. It drives like riding on glass! Beautiful color, very comfortable. I think I drove Jeremy a bit nuts with all my questions, but he was SO patient and understanding and showed me everything I needed to know. He's always around to answer any questions I have, no matter how silly. I love Bertera Subaru and will always buy the Forester. I also like how environmentally conscious Subaru is. (Love their commercials). I'd recommend this car for everyone! And have Jeremy take care of you- he's great! I've even named my Forester after him- "Jasmine (for the color) Jeremy"! See you at 1000 miles.......

Amazing sedan for the snow! Drives well. Great features. Really the only thing that’s missing for me is the automatic lock once the car is in drive and moving. You have to remember to lock the doors. Otherwise, I love it!

I went to Bertera Subaru to look around for a used Forester. Their prices on the internet for Black Friday weekend were showing up less than other dealers in the area and I wanted to see if they actually were true. I had already made a deposit on a slightly used car (2016) at another dealer. I was introduced to Joe Bucko. He had a similar car on the lot but he then told me they were doing a sale on 2017 cars that weekend and when he told me the price, it was several hundred dollars less than the 2016 I already put a deposit on. We picked out the color from a car on the lot and I was about to order one for delivery when he offered a break on the new one in the lot with extra accessories for the same price. How could I say no. I did purchase the 100K warranty which I think is worth it for a new car and the maintenance program for $970. When I went back to get the car ( Joe got the car registered and plates on), I decided to cancel the maintenance program due to another review and they were very amenable to this. However, after I found out that it covers an extensive 30K check up and not just oil changes, I decided to keep it. Joe went out of his way to make things easy for me. I had to come back because the engine light had gone on and then next day it went off and he was helpful and ready to get me into the service area quickly. Great guy. All in all, this has been a very good experience for me as I am not one to buy a new car. Also, Subaru sends you a very nice leather travel bag for purchasing a new car. That was cool.

The Subaru Legacy is an excellent vehicle. Subaru has nailed the practicality formula with this vehicle. It is large inside, gets excellent fuel economy, has strong mechanical components (engine, trans, AWD system), and is a perfect family vehicle, though the engine is lacking in power. However, and this is a big, however, the Subarus are NOT built for your comfort. The seats are comfortable enough, as is the ride comfort, but the lack of refinement is alarming. The vehicle is loud, brash, and has little concern for luxury. The interior trim is cheap plastic and rough to the touch. There is very little sound deadening, a decibel meter read 79 decibels at only 50 mph, unacceptable in modern vehicles. Reliability is something great to be concerned about, and Subaru offers an excellent package for reliability and practicality, however, the lack of concern for refinement and quality engineering, especially in todays market, is bad enough to make me sell the car. In a modern market, reliability is something that can be found in most vehicles, but modern interiors have improved far past where Subaru is currently. Want reliability, get a Toyota. Need AWD, get a Toyota RAV4. Your comfortable bottom will thank you for it.

I have been thinking about downsizing from my Chrysler Town and Country for a few months. The Subaru Forester was one of the SUV's on my list to consider. I stopped at Steve Lewis to get started on my search. I left 4 hours later with a brand new 2017 Forester. I didn't think I would be able to find a smaller car with all of my "must haves." I was wrong. Eric spent the whole afternoon with me asking questions about what I wanted and answering every question I had...EVERY question. Once Eric was able to actually get me into a car with all my requests (remote start, Sirius Radio, inflatable lumbar, power seats, power liftgate to name a few), Jack stayed after hours to be sure all my paperwork and financial needs were met and complete. Fast forward three days. Now it was Brent's turn to take on the difficult job of explaining a technical car to a non-technical customer. Mission accomplished!! I also spoke with Benny Cruz in customer service who gave me his card and encouraged me to call him for any future needs. Thank you Eric, Jack, and Brent for making what can be a stressful experience an easy one. I plan on keeping Benny's card close at hand.

I got an above average car for a below average price. They even fixed a problem after the warranty. They live up to their promise of no pressure. They specialize in Subarus and know these cars well, but they have other brands, too. They seem to specialize in the $5k to $12k price range. I don't think you will find a better value, which is why I drove an hour. They do not make a lot of profit on these cars, so be fair and don't expect them to spend a lot of money on your car after you leave. Agree to repairs before taking delivery.

We originally bought a 2018 Subaru impreza and a 2011 mini cooper from Steve Lewis back in August of this year. Shortly after, the mini started having several issues, it ended up needing several thousand dollars worth of work, and possibly an engine on top of that. They were kind enough to set us up with a loaner car for free, towed the problem vehicle to the nearest mini dealer and had them diagnose the vehicle with no cost to us. They proceeded to let us know what was wrong with it, and offered to give us a credit back for every penny we paid towards the car. We just picked up our 2012 outback from them today and couldn't be happier! Paul was our salesman for both purchases, and he was great! He has an upbeat attitude but he's also a real person you can talk to, not just some guy who is trying to force you into buying a car. We will definitely be coming back, and recommending them to our friends and families!

Arrived on Friday to test drive the 2017 Outback...Todd was busy so he connected me with Roger who guided me through the ins and outs of the new vehicle. His knowledge was excellent and he did a wonderful job. I then met with Larry in finance, who is a hoot and a half. His energy is wonderful and made me feel very comfortable. We signed the necessary paperwork as we chatted happily with Larry. Two days later, we picked up our loaded new Outback and were assisted by Terra. She, too, was so very knowledgeable and took us step by step through our new purchase. She made certain that we understood the complexities of the touchscreen and could operate it ! My old car was my third minivan in 15 years. Now that my kids are older and leaving for college, I wanted something that could carry 6 or 7 passengers but was ... well... NOT a minivan. I did some research on late model used three-row SUVs, and found the 2017 Nissan Pathfinder. (My favorite of my three vans was a 2005 Nissan Quest, so choosing Nissan was easy for me.) Before I started browsing for cars, I applied for credit through Carvana, and was approved. Next, I entered in all of the information about the van I was trading for the Pathfinder. (Beware -- the trade-in amount is only good for 7 days, and it can change wildly in that time!) I was pleased with the trade amount, and it was great that I could shop for my new car and see my down payment and monthly payment for every car I viewed! My specifications were pretty clear -- AWD, less than 10,000 miles, and never a rental car. I found my dream car a few days later, and started the purchase process. It was quite smooth and the directions were very clear about what documents need to be uploaded. When I went to click on "finalize purchase" (or something like that), a red flag popped up...my trade-in value expired WHILE I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF CHECKING OUT! I got on chat with Carvana staff right away, and they were able to return the trade in value to NEARLY what it was before the expiration. This is something that needs to be addressed by Carvana -- once a customer is to a certain point in the process, those numbers need to be frozen. So we set a delivery time, and the Carvana rep was pretty much on time considering he was traveling 70 miles or so from the Chicago office. Everything was smooth -- signed a couple more papers, took my Pathfinder for a spin, Eric inspected my trade, and I left within 30 minutes with my new car. I would also like to add that I drove directly to my mechanic, so he could inspect the car and make sure I wasn't buying something with hidden damage. Mechanic said to me, "This car is perfect, like new." Just what I wanted to hear. Thanks Carvana! I am telling everyone I know about you guys. Good to work with you! Janet - 2017 Nissan Pathfinder

Previously owned a 2007 Acura RL. My Subaru Legacy 3.6R gives me more performance and a smoother ride. Has every feature I wanted. The Eyesight safety feature is awesome. Other cars I test drove did not come close. So impressed we purchased a new Subaru Impreza for our Grandaugher with Eyesight. Previously owned Honda products.

Dan greeted us as soon as we walked in the door. His relaxed, easy-going manner made the buying experience pleasant. There wasn't any pressure or stress! I really wanted a forester in Venetian red. All on the lot had been reserved or had a deposit. When I started to waver about the color, he said, "go with your first choice, don't settle. We'll find one at another dealership and bring it here." That's just what they did! Jared organized getting the remote start installed so we could pick up the new car quickly! He was friendly and went out of his way to get us set up for delivery! Benny was incredibly knowledgable about the technology and patient as I learned more about my car. Over and over he said, "call us anytime, no matter what the problem. There are 3 of us and we are happy to help you with this anytime!" Very reassuring to someone who just traded in a 2005 Forester! Finally, Shayne walked us through the financials and was frank about our needs. He did NOT try to sell us packages we didn't need. Shayne was very thorough and we left feeling like we made an informed decision. This is our second purchase with Steve Lewis Subaru and we highly recommend the sales team and the service department!

I just got a 2016 Impreza from these guys last week. I was weary of going to a dealership after buying my last car because it was a horrible experience (Honda North in Danvers), but the guys at Steve Lewis quickly changed the perceptions i had about going to a dealership. Tyler and Jared worked with me and my needs/wants to find me something i really liked because i wasn't too sure what i was looking for when i walked in. They gave me a great price on my trade in as well as the Impreza i bought. They are both just genuinely nice dudes that really listen to your needs and were not pushy to make a sale at all. Shane in the finance/warranty department is also a really kind and professional guy. He gave me a great deal on some warrantys and was fun to work with. He just seemed like he genuinely cared about what I was getting and making sure I understood what I was getting. I also Met with Larry in Finance who was really nice and more than happy to answer some questions i had. He also has great taste in sneakers. Overall great experience here. These guys are rad.

This past Christmas season, my Mother-in-law, my wife and I were heading out to Ohio from the Boston area to be with my wife's family. I had a 2013 Dodge Dart with roughly 55,000 miles on it, and it appeared to be in great shape, so we decided to take my Dart out to Cleveland for the 12 hour trip. Long story short, we didn't even make it out of Massachusetts, as we broke down on Route 90 at a rest area, the transmission DIED. We were over two hours from home at this point... I called AAA and they towed us to the nearest Chrysler Dealership, Metro. I walked into the service department visibly agitated at the situation, with my less-than-amused wife (who never wanted me to buy the Dart in the first place...) and my Mother-in-law in tow. Orlando greeted us, and offered the waiting room up to my wife and MIL while he and I figured out what we were going to do. Orlando understood my situation, and how my wife was clearly agitated with me -- and he made sure to do everything in his power to keep me out of getting in more trouble!! I got a rental from Enterprise while leaving the car with Orlando and drove out to Cleveland. Orlando called me the next day stating that Chrysler wasn't going to cover rental costs for me, and that the parts for my car were back ordered for at least a month. He instructed me to call Chrysler myself and gave me some ammunition to fight them with. Unfortunately, they wouldn't budge when I called. But, without me even asking him to do so, Orlando saw that the situation was B.S., and fought them for me. He had Chrysler conference in Enterprise and he talked Chysler into covering my initial out of pocket rental costs, and another 10 days of rental. He fought for more than 10 days, but Chrysler wouldn't budge... Knowing I was going to need a better solution than just 10 days, I called and said to Orlando: "You can see my Dart is in perfect shape other than the transmission that's under a recall. What can we do so I never have to see that Dart again?" Enter Marlon. Orlando got me in touch with Marlon, one of the sales guys. I told him my situation, my financials, and all the details. Because I was upside-down on my loan on the Dart, we had very limited options as to getting me into a new vehicle. Even though this is a Chrysler dealership, I think Marlon could tell I didn't want another Chrysler product. He showed me a 2015 Nissan Altima they had on the lot, and it was a perfect fit. He was able to work with the bank to make sure my payments didn't go up at all, and that I was able to get a very nice rate on the loan. Considering that I broke down in an area that I wasn't familiar with, I was at the discretion of the AAA driver as to where the car was going to be taken. I could not be happier that I ended up at Metro. Marlon and Orlando were outstanding.

This is a review of my SELLING experience to Carvana. I listed my car on Craigslist and was approached by an outsider buyer named Jan. She introduced me to Carvana, which I never heard of before, and it's process. She was very helpful and walked me through the process. The first deciding factor for selling to them was that they offered me the best price (vs. CarMax, Auto Nation, Trur Car). Then I realized the process was super streamlined. All I had to do was upload my documents and, after approval, schedule an appointment for the pickup of my car. Carvana sent a truck to COME TO ME to pick up the car. The driver (Lauren?) was very courteous and pleasant to work with, too. The pickup process, which included a one-mile test drive, took no longer than 20-30 minutes. Immediately after loading my car to their truck, I was handed the check, which I immediately deposited without any issues. My selling experience from being contacted by buyer to getting the check took just 10 days! (Would've been even faster if I was more timely with uploading my docs.) I'd highly recommend Carvana for selling your cars!
