Best Toyota sales experience in the DFW area!!!

My wife and I traveled all over Dallas looking for the best deal on a 2018 Toyota Corolla SE. We fell in love with the vehicle's performance and aesthetics after test driving at a Toyota dealership. We weren't willing to settle for any other vehicle, nor did we want to modify our budget or give up 0% APR/60 mos. financing. After several poor experiences at Toyota dealerships around the DFW Metroplex, we were discouraged in the car buying process. At one particular competing Toyota dealer, we were victims of a bait-and-switch that left my wife in tears. My wife discovered Toyota Atkinson South Dallas close to her workplace and gave Ricky Chavez a text. He promised to beat the best offer we got from competing dealerships. True to his word, Ricky gave us an unbeatable price on the car of our dreams. He was open, honest, friendly and congenial. He guided us through a lengthy onboarding process as first time buyers. He also gave us some insight into his personal and career journey, giving us a sense of ease with the whole process. He answered all our questions. He was never condescending or dismissive of our questions, comments and concerns. In the middle of our buying experience, we stopped by the Customer Lounge. Marcelo Aviles helped us navigate the automated kiosk. We hadn't seen this type of technology in any other Toyota dealership. However, our one qualm would have to be the financing conversation at the very end of the sales experience. We felt intense emotional pressure to pay for GAP insurance and warranty add-ons despite repeatedly pushing back. The type of imagery Mark Havens and his director were using to convince us, such as my wife totaling the car write out of the lot, on the purchase of these add-ons was distressing. It led to an hour of lost time and some difficult conversations among our family. We missed our crucial, mandatory evening prayers as a result. I understand the legality and practicality of these options, but the pitch has much room for improvement. All in all, I would recommend Toyota Atkinson South Dallas to any friends and family looking for the best buying experience with a Toyota vehicle. Most of the staff was friendly, open and transparent. Ricky Chavez in particular is a phenomenal car salesman to work with. Thank you for helping us secure our freedom on the road!
