Kia of Orange Park Review
We love our new Kia
by Rick Schramm from Keystone Heights FL

We came in to look for a fuel efficient car we had appointments at several dealerships but Kia of OP seemed like they wanted our business more than the others we made an appointment and were told by a salesman if we came in before the end of the month there would be better deals so we did. Our salesman was not there but had Charles Q waiting to take care of us as well my wife was a little upset that we had an appointment and our salesman was not there to help us she requested a manager and Charles got Richard who assured her they were sorry something came up and that Charles would be able to help us. Charles found the car my wife wanted in the color she wanted at a price she was comfortable with Charles did not walk the lot to find what she wanted he ran. He made sure we were comfortable at all times and made sure her car was clean when we took it home even though it was after 8 pm when we came back to sign the forms from the finance department Charles Q took the time to have her car cleaned again. The Finance person we dealt with also was a pleasure to deal with. I just can not remember his name to mention him here Charles Q took the time to help my wife learn how to use all the features of her new car as well as helping her sync her phone to her car. Charles did not just sell a car to us he made a connection he treated us with respect listened to whatever we had to say and did as he promised most of all he appeared sincere at all times not that fake sincere but genuine. We love our little Rio it does exactly what we want, Need a new car at a good price go see OP KIA ask for Charles Q.

Tyler Baker did such a great job showing and answering all our questions about the CC Executive that my wife and I decided to buy the car. Her professionalism and customer service was second to none. We were also impressed with the service and professionalism from Kevin, Tom and Woody. The team at the Orange Park Volkswagen is a top notch and I would recommend it to anybody that wants to buy a Volkswagen.

Fuel efficient. Roomy. Great sound system by Fender. Perfect road trip car. And family hauler sedan. My kids love the back seats. Handles competently. Has enough zip to get past slowpokes. Looks good in red.

Buying your first car can be an extremely overwhelming experience, thankfully, I had Brett Sanders help me through the process. Brett's honest and sincere attitude was refreshing and comforting. He was genuine, and worked hard to get me the car that I wanted without pressuring me. I am now the proud owner of a brand new Mazda CX-5 and I could not be happier. If you are looking for a new car, find Brett at Tom Bush Mazda and you will not regret it. He is awesome- thank you so much Brett!

You cannot beat the TDI SEL Sedan. It supplies all the room, comfort, economy, yet will still put your head back when you put the pedal down. The power, comfort, and economy of the TDI is the best car we have owned.

Dieselgate TDI rescue - and saved $25K
by Antonio D from Orlando, Florida
March 24, 2019
5
Was debating buying one new for $38K+ in 2015. Then the news came out that VW was cheating the EPA. all cars removed from dealer inventory and buybacks where the only sales transactions. then they sat in compounds for 2 years. recently VW began releasing them with stickers under hood that they updated software and are EPA-approved. Now they are clean diesel - the US auto and electric car mfg political influence did their level best to kill sedan diesel and they pretty much did it. Hurray for them. Well, I traded whatever I could to get one. Driving comments: This is a Chatt TN made car and its not having the 100% german feel being the North American Model. This is due to supplier base. The struts are supposedly SACHS but they are sorry -- and im not sure we can use the DE-passat shock due to higher ride height. so suspension is a bit bouncy bouncy and not up to German snuff in my book. Bilstein does make a $100/pair gas charged strut to replace, but I put them on my volvo and was only happy with them for the first month. still looking for the better option while rolling OEM. maybe gas leaked out while they sat - but at 12K miles I wanted to swap them out. VW cheaped out on those struts. They also cheaped out on low grade bridgestone OEM tires. Car was lemon buyback from 75mph vibration in drivetrain, dealer changed axles at 8K. My tire shop reported its due to the tire grade. a proper road-force balancing will lessen the vibration, and a good alignment, but the real answer is to swap those tires - but who wants to pay out of pocket on a new car - the dealer once swapped in new bridgestones but was same problem. ours balanced out finally after 2 visits to shop. The backup camera is slow to come on. The fender stereo sounds really great and had HD with SD card, internal HDD to copy songs into, and high def HD RADIO, but it lags showing backup camera and even takes a long time to wake up or change volume levels. its concerning and I hope that doesnt get worse. I do like the stereo. heated seats are comfy. VW formally does not recommend using a roof rack on this passat. but I got a Thule system that seems to fit just fine and hauls surfboard or 2 bikes without an issue. I just wish they had made gutter rails with threaded spots to mount roof rails - I think the new model is the same. unfortunate. Engine - performance: Post software mod - The S mode doesnt up engine performance, but it does hold gears longer on shift. from a dead start it will burn the tires off and chirp on shifts at WOT (wide open throttle). it is a torque monster. I love it. but it burns fuel. fuel economy on open road is about 40 in city, 60 on a 55mph high with cruise, 55 at 70cruise, 45 at 80cruise. if there is traffic then MPG is about 15% higher - the higher ride height does cut into economy a bit, IMO. with cruise off you will see the 30/42 rating on the OEM sticker. cruise really helps this diesel - and all diesels. I routinely see 60+mpg in town on 45mph roads with cruise on. This car sips fuel. transmission - I love the DSG transmission. it really feels like a stick shift because it nearly is one. downside is the 40K fluid change that has a strange process of adding fluid into the drain hole and no dipstick. VW really intends to take the $$ from this service -- but as I dont trust that dealers do the work I will be scanning youtube for ideas. alignment - at 11K this car was not in proper alignment. it was the rear that was out of spec. fortunately it was adjustable OEM and no adjustment kit was needed. it rides really nice now. I love the transition feel of this car in turns, despite the clown-car struts. Fuel filter - the fuel filter is super easy to access under hood and only a few torex bolts to remove. BUT, dont change it yourself. A complicated high pressure pump startup, repressurization process requires a VAG computer to properly prime and bleed out the tank and head HP pump. This system runs over a thousand PSI, and if not bled correctly it will burn out a pump pronto. so every 40K I will source VW directly, ask for the old filter back, and see if I can watch the mechanic do the bleed-down. Diesel fuel - in central florida 99% of the gas stations have a diesel pump. a safety mechanism prevents inserting gas sized filler nozzle. Warranty - VW extend the powertrain warranty on TDIs. thanks dieselgate lawyers Overall - I absolutely love this car. So does my wife

All the people were very friendly and happy to help but at the same time not pushy about buying one that day. Only complaint would be after I bought the car the detailing that they did washing cleaning the car ext... was not good and I had to go home and do it myself, but that's a very small complaint overall 5/5 stars very satisfied if I ever need another car I would definitely shop there again.

It handles well. The only real issue I’ve had consistently is with the Apple Play. It doesn’t sync 20-30% of the time. There was a slight mechanical issue and my inspection light went on when actually I wasn’t due for a service for another 4000 miles. All in all it’s a nice ride.

My Great Choice - VW Passat
by Zauberman12 from Jacksonville, FL
May 14, 2019

It's just me, so I downsized from a new Tiguan SUV lease to a straight purchase of a certified pre-owned Passat. Best choice I ever made! I travel back and forth from Florida and Kentucky. This car is great on the highway - performance, handling, and fuel economy (which has, quite frankly, amazed me). It's roomy inside (and I am a big guy) for me as the driver and has plenty of room for stuff, including the rear seat accessibility that greatly increases the trunk functionality. The certified pre-owned program from VW adds two (2) years of full warranty. Lastly, the HVAC system is efficient - something we really need in Florida.

INFINITI of Orange Park Review
SERVICE - Is the key component to customer retention
by Falkhor from DealerRater.com
November 5, 2018
5 5 5 5 5 3.5 (108 reviews)
I have been with Infiniti since 2007 and I was basically sold on how I was treated not only during the purchasing process, but all the follow up that kept it alive. By 2012, I still had made a second purchase to move my wife into an Infiniti & out of her Nissan as the previous 5 years convinced me to stay the course with Infiniti. The service department was really the clincher, mainly how I was treated as a valued customer and it really helps when you have a service adviser, such as Roger Sain who not only knows the products inside and out, keeps you well informed, forecasting you of upcoming requirements or maintenances, and keeps you informed of trending or known issues of certain year models, and how Infiniti targeted commonly failed parts in earlier year models and Infiniti was able to manufacture those high fail rate items for improved higher quality replacement components for older & current model vehicles and future production. I had many items that did fail on my 2005 FX-35, most all of which were covered under my extended warranty. This is very telling of a manufacturer where quality is a top priority. This information also weighed heavy on my decision to retire the 2005 FX-35 and purchase a CPO 2014 QX-70 3 weeks ago. Roger shares his insight and his knowledge always, he also kept me up on the lack of issues this newer model had because of the targeted quality improvement program of the failed items on prior models. As I mention in the title of this review, the Service department IS the key component for customer retention. If its not understood that way, it really needs to be understood that way. Your relationship with the Sales side of the house is short term, I on all 3 occasions of buying an Infiniti vehicle had a great experience in the purchase, however the game is different. Its not the sales guy that made me come back, he just put in a long term debt....hehe. It's true, a Sale rep wants your sale, your signature, and it puts food on their plate. That is just the nature of the beast and I understand that its their job. We all need a job so I get it, but Orange Park Infiniti sales guys really helped me out a lot on this recent purchase, so I am convinced they too are a new breed of sales personnel alive within the Orange Park Infiniti that Atlantic place does not have. But the reality of it is once you are past the sale, you are done. They did their job and now as the customer, hopefully happy like I was drive away. From this point on, what makes or breaks retention of a customer is how the long term relationship is handled from that day forward. That responsibility falls in the hands of the Service department. Roger Sain in my book get the 5 start CQA. Commitment, Quality, & Accountability, that all by itself earned my trust for the 9 years I have been with Infiniti. This is the biggest and only reason I remained an enthusiastic Infiniti owner. It is a great vehicle but the vehicle is only as great as the service department that takes care of you from final sale forward. Roger Sain leads an enviable example for others to follow as one of the best service advisors I have ever had the good fortune of running into. He is very professional, knowledgeable, honest and forthright. When I return for service or repairs, I don't feel like I am just a number, and I have 100% confidence the service or repairs will be done correctly or Roger won't accept it. He tends to develop and earn the respect & trust with his mechanic's in his professional way, and makes sure they understand his expectations, and they tend to deliver on it. I always feel that I am a valued customer but more so, its how I was treated from the Service department when I had to go, and Roger Sain get 98% of that credit. Well there were some times he was off when I needed something done, but that 2 % does not go against him, I add it to the score as I am 100% with Infiniti. Thank you all for everything well done.

Best Car-buying Experience Ever
by Julianna W. from Jacksonville, FL

We recently bought a 2013 VW Beetle from Auto Boutique, after having spent a week or so car shopping at both dealerships and individual sellers. Once we found the vehicle we wanted, the purchasing process was incredibly easy. Julian was very professional and courteous, and he made our purchase a painless process, providing excellent customer service and taking care of all the details for us. The no-haggle pricing was so refreshing, eliminating the usual frustrating dickering game that takes place at typical dealerships. That part was especially nice. We paid a better-than-fair price for an excellent vehicle that we'll enjoy for many years to come. We've been buying cars for the past 30-some years ... this was by far the best car-buying experience ever. Thanks, Julian!

I couldn't believe Auto Boutique offers such Great Deals on a variety of cars and trucks. I had to check them out in person. The team is very polite and professional. Alex Z. personally helped me and answered my questions. They also go to bat for you in financing to get you great rates. Overall a very pleasant experience!! I will be back again!

Alex, Ali, Eugene were so helpful in the process of buying a new car for our growing family. They were kind, considerate, and talked us through the process. I felt super comfortable buying from them because I knew I was getting a good price and I wasn't being pushed into a decision. They stayed after opening hours to accomodate us with our new vehicle. Thanks again for a wonderful experience.

You can’t beat the price I am certified warranty on these TDI diesel’s. Averaging in the low 40s per gallon and has a ton of great creature comfort‘s. For the money, one of the best used cars you can buy in my opinion.

Needs more love!
by Alexander Arroyo Green from San Diego, CA

This car needs some more love! At least where I live, it is rare to see 2016+ versions of these in the San Diego area. FYI, these are some of the cars I’ve been on in the past: 2000 Ford Taurus 2009 Scion tC 2007 Mitsubishi Galant 2007 Toyota Corolla 2016 Chevy Cruze Here’s my breakdown: Comfort: first car ever which I’ve have NOT felt pain in the tail bone! Interior: you either love it or hate it. Personally I love how all the lines seem clean, neat, and tidy. No crazy Lamborghini-wannabe lines darting everywhere. Performance: RELATIVELY speaking from some of the cars I’ve experienced, this car definitely packs a punch. You are not going to be setting Guinness records, but you’ll have enough punch from this little guy. I really love the steering. I started driving a Scion tC, which at the time had a heavy steering feel. When I initially met my car, I definitely noticed how much more lighter it was.... without being too light? Like, there is a feel.... maybe tamed? But in a good way lol hard to describe, but it felt “correct” for the car. I’ve driven a 2016 Nissan Frontier and that steering felt robotic...unnatural. On the Passat, it was light and natural. Value: Definitely biased on this one. I’m loving the car so far. Exterior: Again, subject to interpretation. I love the clean, almost minimalist look it has. Reliability: So far, we shall see. The only thing aside from routine maintenance that has gone bad so far was the master switch that controls all 4 windows.
