I love this car! I bought it used and have had it 3 yrs! I love the pick up and gas mileage! Very pleased w my little suv!

Although comfortable and roomy enough I've soooo many

Although comfortable and roomy enough I've soooo many problems with my 2015 Escape. The electronic steering assist went out three times leaving me in a moving vehicle with no steering to speak of. I finally got it fixed to the tune of $1600! The splash guard under the front of the car fell off on I 70 while driving across country. I was able to retrieve it and put it back on myself but dangerous non the less! Now it is powering down while driving, dangerous in traffic, giving the alert that it is to prevent overheating even though the temp gauge is reading normal. Kicker is that it can be a bad sensor or an actual overheating cylinder head or transmission. It can be any of those because they are all well known and COMMON problems these vehicles have. So is the bad steering assist module, which had to be replaced with a rebuilt one because Ford doesn't make new ones, so it's probably going to happen again sometime. OH! All of these problems started when I only had 52,000 miles on it! These vehicles are giant, rolling, dangerous turds!

Owns this car

Replaced the engine at 79800 miles. And the turbo was bad as well. $8800 to fix a car worth $13000 at the time. Any other questions?
