Bought used Q5 from dealer with 14k miles.
Bought used Q5 from dealer with 14k miles. At 65k miles began having multiple alarms and electrical issues. Being told rear quarter panel modules are out so no lane assist , no approaching vehicle alert or back up sensors. All 7500-$8000 to replace modules on top of cooling issue with piston valve (800) and shorted wiring issue on back up lights. So total of 10k for repairs. First and last Audi. BUYER BEWARE of Audi /VW .

Bought as a CPO with Audi Care plan.
Bought as a CPO with Audi Care plan. Did all the maintenance required. At 39k miles, water pump, engine mounts and radiator needed to be replaced after inspection of "low coolant" warning. Would have cost about $7k if not under warranty. I digged deeper and apparently these things are ticking time bombs and Audi is covering up defect with these engines (rocker arms, water pump, engine failures). I'm going to sell it as soon As warranty is up. My first and last Audi. Can't even get their most mass produced engine right. Don't trust VW/Audi. They have a culture of crooked business practices.

Quality issues. Customer service non existent.
We buy Audi for the brand and we buy at dealership for experience. We buy the 5 year Audi care on top of it for comfort. We have 25k miles for a car that was bought in 2018 December. How can an engine mount fail in 25k, MMI issue, No green sos light, Tires start cracking. This is a garage kept car and only driven in the city. The miles speak for themself. To have so many issues after 4 years with this less miles is troubling. Dealership fixed the MMI issue. But the rest was refused. I personally went and met the service manager and asked them to escalate this with Audi USA and she was kind enough to say that she will do it either that day or next day and loop back to me. They didn't follow up. Audi USA is useless, They don't escalate and this Matt whose title is subject matter expert has this canned response and they don't respond in a day or two. They are useless. I feel terrible about recommending Audi to my friends. I convinced my next door neighbor who was in the market for BMW x3 to buy the Q5. He bought it the next month. treatment. Stand up for the brand. Work with Audi USA to resolve issues. Customer service is much more than smiling, being polite and lip service. You win customers for a life time including their family and friends.
