2018 SQ5 blown engine at 40,000 miles. This has been my wife’s car to drive around Boise. So do the math…$55,000 purchase for 40,000 miles. New engine estimate is $30,000. Trade in value of vehicle with current blow engine will be well below $10,000. The long term reliability of this vehicle based on original cost is ZERO.

Reliable Audi SQ5

Owns this car

This is my wife car but after several years of ownership, I can say that the SQ5 prestige is a winner. Other than routine maintenance and brakes once, we have had no issues. Great vehicle super comfortable and reliable.

Very reliable in 5 years of driving.

Owns this car

Bought it brand new in 2018. Still got it in 2023 with over 80k miles on it. Super reliable all those years. That was the biggest surprised. We knew we'll get comfort and performance but never counted on reliability. What a great surprise.
