2021 Kia Seltos: Everything You Need to Know
Has our ravenous appetite for SUVs been sated yet? Kia hopes not and has introduced another all-new SUV, the 2021 Seltos. In Kia’s lineup, the subcompact SUV is about the same height and width as the Soul hatchback, but it’s nearly 7 inches longer. On the other end, it’s 4.4 inches shorter than the Sportage compact SUV.

The Seltos is offered in LX, S, EX and SX trim levels, and all-wheel drive — unlike for most subcompact SUVs — is standard on all but the second-level S, which has standard front-wheel drive and AWD as a $1,500 option. Power comes from a 146-horsepower, 2.0-liter four-cylinder engine paired with a continuously variable automatic transmission. The uplevel engine is a 175-hp, turbocharged 1.6-liter engine mated to a seven-speed dual-clutch automatic.
