I had a great experience with GR Auto Gallery and in particular with Brendan Blanchard, the general manager. He's quick and efficient, a pleasure to work with, and trustworthy. The Porsche 911 I bought from him was exactly he said it was.

I initially inquired as to the availability of the Austin

I initially inquired as to the availability of the Austin Healey 3000 and was helped by Christopher Harty. I made an offer on the vehicle, the owner countered and we came to an agreed upon price. Very easy and Chris was there all the way. Just waiting for delivery as it's bought and paid for. Chris has still made himself available and even after the sale still answers my calls and questions. All in all a very good experience. I have not contacted Chris Hoexum because I've had no complaints at this point in the transaction. Looking forward to delivery of the Austin Healey 3000 MK111!

We weren’t able to come to a deal on the car that I wanted, but the sales associate was helpful and courteous and I’m hoping we might make a deal in the coming weeks. Pictures, videos, and answers to my questions were obtained quickly, and they seem to genuinely value their customers. Hopefully, if we do come to a deal, my post transaction experience will continue to be five star.

I would not recommend this dealership unless you

I would not recommend this dealership unless you physically go and inspect the car you are buying. I was told they have NO SERVICE DEPARTMENT so any questions on the vehicle will not be answered except for paint and shine. They were less than honest, short on descriptions and questions, and did not follow through on what they tell you or promise. They do have good selections and are in the ballpark with value. Was told that fluids would be topped off and battery charged prior to delivery. Was also told I would be contacted when vehicle left facility to be delivered. They topped of the radiator that leaks and needs replaced (not disclosed). They charged a junk battery(not disclosed) that had to be jumped to get it off transport vehicle. I was contacted by the delivery driver when he was 20 minutes from my house during a snowstorm.

Hello gbshovel (?) First of all, we appreciate your business and apologize that your car arrived without more notice and with a weak battery. Not sure which Chevy you purchased from us, but we do a post sale inspection on all vehicles and do top off fluids if needed and connect it to our battery tenders prior to shipping. If the battery is below factory specs we replace the battery. Once it is picked up from our facility unfortunately sometimes the shippers leave keys turned on, lights on or accessories pull from the battery. We DO NOT have a service facility and are very upfront with our clients on this as we do a very basic safety inspection prior to the sale and are ALWAYS willing to answer any questions that a customer may have so every ones expectations are in line. Would of been happy to work thru these complaints with you rather then you leaving a marginal review on our company.

I gave a fair, honest, and factual review. The battery shipped to me is junk. It sat on trickle charge for over 24 hours and was dead again in less than 2 days. A basic post sale inspection should have caught a leaking radiator. There is not an argument to that! With the interaction and questions I had prior to purchase I knew that contacting you GR be futile. There were more inconsistencies I was told that did not hold true that I didn't post because I did not want to be petty. With all that said there was still value in the purchase in my opinion. This review is for the guys that save up thinking they will be getting a road worthy classic vehicle of his dreams from a dealer. Most people do not know that Service departments are separate businesses when it comes to dealers. A marginal experience warrants a marginal review.

Pretty good experience here.

I recently bought a Firebird from this dealership. It was a one owner car and in great condition. After drooling over this car for several days, I decided to go and have a look. The car was as advertised and I had to have it. Chris was my salesman. I negotiated as best I could and they even moved a little on the price which by comparison was a really good deal. I felt the customer service was pretty good and I would buy from them again.

Smooth, easy transaction

Brandon (Indy location) was a pleasure to work with. He responded to all my questions in a timely manner and worked with me to negotiate a fair price with the vehicle's owner. Can't wait for my new toy to arrive! Thanks GR Auto!

Their terms are not agreeable

Honestly, I am not sure how these guys sell cars at all. Initially, I thought that all of the bad reviews were based on sour grapes....However, I tried my darnedest to buy a car and their terms are just not compatible with the standards of most car dealerships. Once we had agreed on a price (which really was just their listed price as they don't seem to negotiate and you should know that they have a $270 document fee to add on as well)....they wanted 100% payment before they would allow the car to undergo a pre purchase inspection which I was going to pay for. Prior reviewers complained that they are good are misrepresenting cars AND are not reliable for full refunds....so my comfort level was about nil for that plan. I counter offered to make a $500 down payment prior to the inspection and then if the car passed inspection, I would make full payment at pickup. The response was that they do not take down payments nor hold cars for buyers. So good on them if they can sell cars this way....but I felt it was important for you to know before wasting your time shopping with this group.

This is so false! We never require payment in full prior to an inspection. Also we only charge $260 documentation fee which at the time of your review it was only $230. Another example of you are lying to just try to damage a reputable company that has been in business for over 12+ years and ownership in the industry of over 30yrs.
