Shady Used Car Dealers

This dealership is a perfect example of predatory sales behavior. They will tell you anything you want to hear to make the sale and once you sign on the dotted line you will realize the lies. They will bully you into a warranty and GAP insurance, lying saying it effects the interest rate. They will also tell you , you can cancel in thirty days but will become unresponsive when you need their help to do so. When it's time to sell the car, there's always a salesman available , but after the fact you're on your own. I'm amazed a place like this can stay in business , please double-check all your paperwork before signing anything , they will change the advertised price on a vehicle by thousands of dollars once you walk on the lot... I have never had such a painful experience with a dealership. They deserve 0 stars.

The worst experience ever...

I have been to Auto Web Expo dealership three times since last November trying to trade in my 2020 BMW and get the GLC 300. The first two times we didn’t agree on the price, no shocker there. The third time, the last time, it just happened few days ago when I drove there to get yet another GLC 300 after seeing one on their website. When I requested info online, I received an email and text messages from Sebastian asking me when I could come. I promised to come on the next day. I liked that car a lot and I canceled my three appts for that day to be there. On the morning of I again received text messages from Sebastian saying that his manager Erick would helping when I get there. I asked him to get a car ready/prepared, to print out what packages it had so we wouldn’t waste any time. When I looked up its Vin number it didn’t show any premium packages, just standard features, so I wanted to make sure it’s the same car. I also said that I would negotiate my car and theirs separately. I don’t like when dealers pile all offers up and talk in circles trying to make you dizzy. I know what I want, I know how much it’s worth and I know how much I am willing to pay for it, so I don’t get dizzy. And when I said in my message that I already had a very good offer from Carvana, Sebastian asked to bring it with me so they would match it. Even as I was driving I was getting text messages asking when I would be there. As soon as I walked in I met Erick and explained everything once again. I requested a printout of premium packages they had listed and I was ready to see a car. And just like that Erick said “we don’t have it here, it’s being transferred...” I almost passed out. Are you people kidding. It took me 1 hour one way to get there, why didn’t I get a call/text a day before or on the morning of that it wasn’t on the lot yet, why not mention it somewhere with the “when are you coming” series? Erick responded “oh, Sebastian is just a new guy he doesn’t know, and we sent him to a different dealership”...Very nonchalant response. Why do you allow someone new, who knows nothing about nothing, to communicate with clients in the first place? So you could send him away and no one is responsible? Erick smiled and shrug shoulders. He saw I was getting angry but it didn’t bother him. So I can’t test drive it if it’s not there. I asked if they had any other 4Matics on the lot. Nope. Then Erick offered to see what price they could come up with and went to the ‘man on the throne’ to find out. Few minutes later he came back with an absolutely laughable offer. I right away shut it down and said I would pay half of that. My 2020 BMW was purchased for cash, so since I was going to pay cash for the difference, of course I needed the best deal possible. Erick went back to find out if half was doable, came back with the slightly better version of the same horrible offer. I got so pissed I couldn’t see straight. You people lied, misled me, pounded on me asking when I would come, then rolled all your mess on a new guy and shrugged shoulders? I cancelled all my appts, lost so much time driving to your dealership to look at something that wasn’t even there? And you knew it? And since I made all that effort and was willing to pay without even seeing it, you could at least meet me half way and give me that deal. I am pretty sure you wouldn’t have gone starving. I understood from our chat that if that car was on the lot for a month or so, then the ‘man on the throne‘ could’ve considered letting it go. So I imagine since it’s just being delivered, they have to milk it a little to see if they can catch a gullible buyer who would nod at their offer and ask “show me the rabbit’. I have only bad memories about Auto Web Expo, but my last trip left a mark. The whole thing was disrespectful, inconsiderate and incompetent.
