Excellent experience.

At first we walked around the lot looking at the vehicles with no one to pressure us. Then when we were ready, Mr. Mathers found us and helped us narrow down our choice. He was extremely helpful, even on his day off.

A place where they listen , A place where they respond

3-14-16. We were shopping every brand at every dealership. As soon as we were contacted by Jacob Steele , we new exactly where we were buying a next SUV. His ability to let us know he was willing to work for us in any way needed was superb. Then to see him deliver on his word was amazing. He made several sacrifices including completing the deal on his personal time, working on the deal on his day off...Thank you Jacob for making this buying experience one we will never forget and insuring that we will see you for our next vehicle.

Great Service Department!

We were very pleased with the service that Coughlin provided after having problems with our Chevy Equinox. Josh in the service department was very professional and everything was handled with very little inconvenience to us with getting us back on the road. They stand behind their work and made everything right. We will buy from Coughlin again because of this experience.

Unfriendly/miserable

Been to Coughlin Chevrolet of Newark, OH several times for repairs and misc. reasons. Every time I go there, there is a gentleman that is just absolutely miserable. He is short w/the customers and talks down to and belittles co-workers, obviously in front of customers. Today, he was short to a older gentleman (customer) and was arrogantly belittling other employees, I decided to ask who he was. I was told he was the used car manager. Enough said. Go check it out for yourself.

Excellent Service

3-1-16, Reviewed cars (GM) at Coughlin Cars of Newark. Becoming interested in a Buick, LaCrosse we were assisted by Sales Assoc. Jacob Steele and Finance Admin, Jeremy Shaner. Throughout the complete process of test driving, and subsequent purchase, the service was outstanding. Jacob was very pleasant, knowledgable and friendly in all dealings concerning the purchase. Would never hesitate to return and will gladly recommend the dealership and Jacob to anyone interested in purchasing a vehicle. It was the most pleasant time of obtaining a vehicle in 40 years. Made it happen

Coughlin still sets the bar. Sean worked with me on a very tight window of time. Bought a vehicle for my wife for Christmas. In light of the day and the time frame, one might expect a less than average customer experience. I was wrong. Sean took the time to explain features and an questions when I'm sure he'd rather have been home. I never felt rushed or like I was just "in the process". I don't like writing reviews, but Coughlin and Sean deserve the 5 stars.
