Vindictive letter from Coughlin Newark
Posted a negative review of sales experience at Coughlin Auto, Newark OH, about what I considered to be a Bait and Switch sales tactic. Then 2 months later, I get a vindictive letter with ridiculous claims about my credit. In the first place, I did not apply for credit through them, so there was no reason for them to run my credit. In the second place, I have excellent credit with a credit score of 848, and a good job. I am now going to send a copy of their letter and my review to the Better Business Bureau, as well as contact corporate. In my opinion, this is a form of harassment from this dealer.

Bad Experience
I started out at Coughlin in Marysville found truck I liked they would not come down on price any(would have bought truck if they would have came down even 20 dollars) Found truck in Newark bought it salesman Chad Chesron said he would get 2nd keyfob that I have never got have reminded him for 7 months .He is the typical used car salesman that will tell you anything (lie) to you make sale .Im getting ready to buy my wife chevy Tahoe 40-65k if the salesman or coughlin cant make me happy over a100 dollars I wont be back to buy anther vehicle from them they are not the only GM dealers Im staying away from them I think they are sleazy

Excellent service on a great deal
Went in uncertain and left very satisfied and happy with everything. Got what I wanted at a price that I wanted and will definitely be buying my next vehicle from there as well.

They change price on you
WARNING.....BAIT AND SWITCH in my opinion. Made a trip to Coughlin Newark Ohio after seeing their sale prices on the internet. Got up there, they wouldn't honor the prices advertised as "Coughlin's Price" . Tried to deal with them, made an offer and they countered back with another offer which was accepted. Then they ran my credit score, which is 840. Then the manager comes out and raises the price of the vehicle $800 plus another $600 for the protection they claimed they put on the car. First of all, the car came from another dealer the day before, so sure that was bogus. In my opinion, they operate a "bait and switch" sales department. Even after they gave me an out the door price, it ended up being more than the higher quoted price. They did agree to take off the $600 protection coating (which probably wasn't done), but refused to even honor their price given in person. Buyer beware!

2015 dodge challenger
got a great deal on a very nice dodge challenger, the whole process took 45 minutes fast friendly service from Jim miller would recommend them. found the car through cars.com very helpful.

If I ever need another vehicle I am definitely going back here. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff and everyone there is willing to help out at the drop of a hat. Never been treated as good anywhere else as I was here. I would rate this place 15/10 if I could. Huge shout out to Jared and Jeremy, you guys were awesome! Good working with you two.
