Excellent experience at this Ford dealership

Scratches on used car i purchased

Beware!

Beware of buying a vehicle here! I bought an 06 ram and paid up to full retail because of the low mileage, only to take it home, and have the check engine light come on. After taking it to a garage the mechanic told me it was cleared prior to me purchasing the vehicle, and that in 2 months when the vehicle needs inspected it won't pass emissions. When I purchased it I was told "We go over our vehicles 100%, and make sure they don't have anything wrong with them before putting them out for sale, and your truck shows the only thing it needed was wiperblades." What kind of checking out your vehicles is that when it only takes a minute to read the computer to find out if any codes were cleared, or pending? I called Corey the salesrep who sold me the vehicle, and he told me he'd see what they would do for me then call me back, then he never called. After calling him he said he couldn't hear me on his phone! So after 2 days of trying to communicate through him I reached out to a manager who negotiated with me over what they would do. He ended up purchasing me the $400 y-pipe that I needed (Thankfully), or splitting the bill 50/50 of $1200 for the work to be done. After spending over 12k I don't have any money for repairs so I took the part. I haven't installed it yet to see if it fixes the issue because I'm busy fixing everything else their shop missed, Waterpump, Heater Core, Ect. I understand this is a buy as is establishment, and ultimately it's on me, but I came to these guys thinking they were a reputable dealer who would sale solid vehicles, and stand buy them to some degree. Not thinking they operated like some side of the road car lot that you don't know what to expect out of. Beware of their financing as they try to manipulate you into paying a high interest loan so they can receive a kickback from the lender. My credit score is 750-800, and they tried to sale me on paying nearly 10% interest when my bank offered 4.75% which is in fact high! At the end of the day all I can say is I regret purchasing my truck from them, and if you are considering purchasing from their large inventory don't take their word on them saying they checked out the vehicle. Spend the money, and take it to your mechanic for inspection prior to purchase. They are shady, and may have already known about this light being cleared when they bought it, and just passed it off to me. I feel that because of the light not being on when I test drove it, and all the other issues not being disclosed they should have done more for me especially after you know they made thousands of dollars off of me. It's not about who's legally responsible it's about doing the right thing! They are shady if you ask me..

Hello Elliot, thank you for your feedback. Just to be clear, we never represent our as-is vehicles as being gone over 100%. We are very upfront that all we do is safety check these vehicles and provide the customer what we find based on state inspection guidelines. We also allow all customers to have the vehicles checked by a 3rd party before purchase, an option which you declined. To protect against such reviews as this we have all customers sign that they understand these terms as an AS-IS purchase before finalizing the transaction. Ecosport

Salesman Jeff Turner was great finding the right car for our needs. In fact, it had so many more great features than we were originally looking for and now we are so glad we will have these added perks! I was happy with the time Jeff took to go over all the features and help setting up the apps in the car. A shout out to Bob Ruth Ford and Salesman Jeff from a satisfied returning customer!

Have be looking to buy a used truck. Have been talking to Casey with what I been looking at on the website. He has stayed in contact with me both on the phone and by email. He did not pressure me to buy and was very helpful.
