No call back and could not care
I have tried to contact this dealer a couple times now and they will still have not given me a call back. I guess they could care less who they help or they just try to find the people they can rip off the most. If they can't even give a simple call back then how would they be with any other service they provide.

Once around the Ice Block
I had a great buying experience, dealt with 3 different salesmen on three different visits . All were very courteous and helpful. One did not follow up with some information, but no big deal. Ended up with George who went out of his way to dig my new (to me) truck out of a frozen lot. Thanks George

This was the worst experience that I have ever had. The employees were not helpful, rude, kept us waiting forever and even showed the car that we were writing the paperwork for (after we had completed all the application work) to another customer. They made it feel like we had to compete and bid for this one vehicle. I called about the vehicle ahead of time. I was told that it would be held for me. I arrived and completed all the necessary paperwork. However they were not happy that I was not going with their financing. Then I was told that the vehicle was being showed to another customer that had come in AFTER I had completed the paperwork. It is supposed to be a car dealer, not an auction house. The salesmanship and customer service was HORRIBLE and they sold the vehicle right out from under me after I clearly had the car (since I had completed all the paperwork for it and was the first one there about it). So much for first come first serve. More like the highest bidder gets it, no matter who was first. I will NEVER RECOMMENT AND WILL NEVER BUY FROM THESE SCAM ARTISTS!!!

Called many times about a certain vehicle, and was told the night prior to my last call that it was still available, but since it was close to closing, told them I'd schedule a look at the vehicle the next day. Called right at opening the next morning and was informed that said had already been sold. "Joseph" then proceeded to try to sell me all other vehicles that were in my price range. I understand "As-Is" means that the vehicle needs work, but when they say the car is serviced prior to placing it for sale on the lot, so it passes PA inspection, do not believe them. I was told by "Joseph" that all the ones he told me about would need major work to pass inspection, and that I would cover the cost- this was after much badgering to find out what was wrong with said vehicles- "Joseph" initially told me all were in sound shape. Needless to say, I did not show up to even look at the cars as I had said I would- why waste the gas to look at junk. Instead, I found a nice vehicle at a small private dealership elsewhere, that had been checked, and didn't have the problems the vehicles that "Joseph" had tried to sell me, at the same price. Do not recommend buying used from this junk dealer.

Hello, we're sorry your shopping experience on our vehicles being sold "As-Is" did not meet with your expectations. They are clearly marked and marketed as "As-Is" units. These wholesale units are only given a safety check and any repairs needed to pass a PA inspection are listed in the disclosure booklet and are the buyer's responsibility. These vehicles are not for every buyer and we attempt to be as upfront and transparent as possible when selling these units.
big sister
I was looking for a car for my sister. When I arrived at Bob Ruth Ford I was greeted by Jeff Turner. I informed him what I was looking for. He asked if I had spoke to anyone prior. I explained to him that I had done a live chat with Jasmine, He got a strange look on his face. I then informed him that she had told me about a Jeep and asked if I would like to take it for a ride? He then informed me that it was a company that works for several dealers, but they are not employed by Bob Ruth. The information she gave me was totally false, and in fact the Jeep was already sold and showed it to me. I was very upset, the clear coat was peeling off, the transmission was shot. In fact a dealer from Maryland bought 3 of them to make 1 good one. Now understand I was looking for a very cheap car but not junk. I understand that you get what you pay for, but you still want something drivable. After I finished telling Jeff about my Chat with Jasmine he was not only shocked but very upset. He asked how far I drove, thank heavens I changed my mind about going down to pick my sister up. Jeff spoke to his manager Steve and explained the situation and then they went into action. I bought a car which I'm sure my sister will be happy with and a lot better than I ever expected. Jeff went up and beyond the call of duty. There is not a doubt in my mind that Bob Ruth Ford does care about their customers First!!!!

Great Experience
Jeff Turner was my dealer. I was shopping around for a used car and was losing hope of ever finding one that was dependable, low mileage, and good body. I went to Bob Ruth Ford and met with Jeff. He picked out the perfect car and had my paper work started that same day. Over the next couple days Jeff stayed in contact with me and kept me in the loop with all my paper work and what was going on. He definitly made my car buying experience fast and easy. Kathy & Gary Used Truck Purchase
Kim was our sales rep. She is wonderful, very outgoing, and goes above and beyond to get you in the car that you are looking at. This is our second vehicle that we have purchased with Kim's help. The first one we purchased was a 2007 trailblazer about 2 1/2 years ago, our lives have changed and we needed a truck so we went back and talked with Kim and she was able to get us into a 2004 diesel truck that really fits our needs. She even told my daughter about their first time buyers plan's. She is wonderful and I just can not say enough about her. Thanks again Kim for being so accommodating with us.
