Great buying experience!

My husband and I just purchased a used car from Scanlon and have had a fantastic buying experience with them. They have been super helpful, friendly and genuinely a pleasure to do business with.

Very pleasant to deal with, no "hard sell'

Love the car, only complaint I have with dealership is car washes only available on Friday and Saturdays....not convenient !!! Regarding car itself, wish it had the steel wheel that automatically goes up when turning off ignition and automatically goes down when starting the ignition.

Andrew Wuttke

Andrew was my service representative. He was extremely efficient and really had a way of diffusing my stress. On arrival to leave my car to replace the starter, we realized there was a nail in my back tire. He was very caring and helped me move items to the loaner then called me at every step of the way which I appreciated. He even let me use the fax machine. I couldn't have been more satisfied during what has been a very stressful period. Now I can drive to Tampa knowing that my car is reliable. I will definitely ask for Andrew the next time I need service!

Sam is a dishonest salesperson

Sam is an extremely dishonest salesperson. In November 2017 Sam reached out to share a great deal to get me into another lease with Scanlon Acura. Sam advised they would forgive ALL excess mileage on my old Acura lease and remaining months. I went to the dealership and again Sam discussed the terms he previously discussed (remove all excess mileage and pay remaining 4 months). My wife called in during the signing and Sam repeated to my wife that they would forgive all the excess miles. Months later received a letter from Acura Financial stating I owed money for the excess mileage. I called Sam, he stated he remembered me and advised him of letter. He stated he would fix it and I wouldn't need to worry about it. I checked the Acura Financial account and only seen a loyalty 7, 500 mile waiver applied. I called Sam again about the mileage and to my surprise he was singing a totally new tune. Sam stated we discussed numerous times during signing I would be responsible for excess Mileage. I was shocked!!! I asked to speak to management and their response was there was no where stating that. In addition, my wife and I drove to Scanlon Acura and the General Manager refused to even talk to us in person regarding the matter. Extremely disappointing to treat a customer that bought two cars in the past from Scanlon Acura. During purchase of vehicle, Sam stressed numerous times to give him an excellent score on the Acura Corporate Survey. I will definitely reach out to Acura corporate regarding this matter. Lost a customer for life and hopefully others that read this stay away from Scanlon Acura too.

Hi Tony, we obviously want all of our clients happy. We are disheartened that there was a misunderstanding. We pulled the documents: you signed showing Acura waives up to 7500 miles only. The first invoice did not take the 7500 miles off, which we corrected. Without that form this review makes Sam look pretty bad...we would rather have not sold you a car than for this to be the result.

Phil at Scanlon was Great!

Phil was great! Honest and fair dealer, hard to find now a days. This is our third Acura from here. Very professional and courteous staff! Thank you to team there.

Years of Service

This team use to be the best of the best. I convinced 2 friends to purchase vehicles with Fort Myers Acura. To put it best they had one of the top service techs in Acura, who has since moved out of state. Now the techs in there take advantage of you and treat you with the worst attitudes. Go to Naples Acura for service, it will be worth it.

Low Pressure- Great experience

I think it's safe to say most of us HATE the car buying experience when some slick young man tried to pressure you into a purchase while knowing nothing about the car and having to run everything through the manager, etc... Scanlon Acura has a very low key approach while they have great product knowledge and very fair pricing. The process is not stressful and they deliver on promising a great buying experience. No pressure experience with excellent customer service

I think we can all agree that the typical high pressure car buying experience is worse than a root canal... Scanlon is a refreshing exception. There staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and let you make your own buying decision without the pressure. It's called respect for one's own intelligence. I highly recommend visiting this dealership unless you like trench coats and obnoxious sales tactics.

Professionalism

Purchased vehicle 3 years ago, salesman very professional, helpful and courteous. Visited salesman, John W. Gallman II, to ask for some new keychains, got my keychain, and it made my day. Waiting for Acura to come out with new two-door model!
