I have had just two experiences at Scanlon Acura with...

I have had just two experiences at Scanlon Acura with regards the service and both have left me extremely frustrated. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT get your car serviced at Scandal Acura. My first appointment on October 7, 2020 was to have a host of things completed (broken door handle, backup camera not working, brakes replaced, transmission flush, etc...) and since it had been about a year since the oil had been changed on the car I asked if they could also change the oil - which of course they said they would. Then when I went to pick it up I noticed that the oil life was still at 30% (not reset to 100), so I brought it back and asked if they forgot to reset the oil life. They admitted they forgot to change the oil (even though it was on the service request paperwork). My second appointment on Dec 3, 2020 was to have the oil changed that they forgot to change on Oct 7. They tried to sell me a $120 B1 service - but I told them that I only needed the oil change. I instructed them not to wash the car (I'm very particular about the car and do not go through automatic car washes). The oil change was completed in about 90 minutes and when I returned to the car, I noticed that it had been washed. Upon further inspection there is paint missing in both the front and rear bumpers because of the automatic car wash that they use. I will not be going back to Scandal Acura, EVER. And I am making it a personal mission of mine to steer anyone and everyone I can away from the Scandal brand. THEY. ARE. TERRIBLE.

Hi Joe, we wanted to share what services we show on file to get our side of what happened. We installed on your vehicle: front brake pads with rotor resurfacing, replaced the engine air filter, replaced transfer case fluid, replaced the transmission fluid, replaced your wiper blades, performed a multi-point inspection and gave you a free loaner vehicle to use. With your comprehensive list of service we would never miss an oil change had it been on the service RO on purpose. We felt bad for missing your request for an oil change, so we gave you that at no charge when you returned. We did notate on your RO for "NO WASH". While we did wash your car by accident, we invite you to walk back to our elite carwash to see why we wash up to 300 cars a day here at Scanlon Autogroup without damage due to the high quality equipment we use. If a FREE oil change and high quality carwash with vacuum by mistake is a "Scandal", we have lost you as our valued customer. We do appreciate giving us the opportunity to service both of your Acuras

Our experience at Scanlon Acura was excellent. Josh, our salesperson, did a great job. He was professional, kind and patient with us because we couldn't make up our mind. I would recommend him and Scanlon if you're looking for an Acura. EVERYONE was very nice and friendly there. Bought a 2018 Acura RLX. LOVE the car! No sales pressure. Wish I could remember everyones name! You're all great!

My wife and I have dealt with the Scanlon family of dealerships since 1997 when the company sold Lincoln and Mercury automobiles. Our latest two transactions were the lease of an Acura ILX IN 2018 and a new ILX on 11/13/20. The sales people are friendly, helpful, patient, and sincere. The quote for the lease I received on the phone from Dan the sales manager was exactly what we paid-no surprises. Our salesman Mike Messina was terrific and took a considerable amount of time demonstrating the car’s features. A great experience.
