Sunset Kia of Venice

We retired and moved down to Venice, FL from just outside of Boston. After being here for a year or so, we traded in our Chrysler Sebring and purchased a new 2020 Kia Sportage from this dealership. They have maintained it since it was purchased. They do a very good job whenever i bring it in for routine maintenance and always do their best to insure that I'm pleased with their work. I don't drive much (about 23/24 miles a day) now but the dealership is every bit as good as any dealership that I've dealt with before. They have good people working there; good management, supervision and mechanics. Better yet, I trust these folks to do what's best for me. i don't hand that out much in this day and age.

I have now purchased two vehicles from this group. I got a 22 K5 from Devyn, and yesterday worked with Chase as our salesman. I continue to come back to these guys, because they have always been straight up with me, honest, and show the utmost integrity and professionalism in my interactions. Chase greeted us with a great warm personality that is down to earth; he was super knowledgeable on all of the ins/outs of the vehicles and was able to make lifestyle-based recommendations to us. There was no pushiness or pressure. If you want a superior car deal experience, you need to come to see these guys; it's not the typical haggle experience that dealers get wraps for. Anthony was the finance guy for this transaction, and he was awesome, and I could tell he really cared about the transaction and, more importantly, me as a person. I felt like he advocated for me, trying to get the best deals available. He was tenacious with the lenders. I also got to meet Jeff, the GM, who you can tell is a no-BS, honest businessman with pride in his work and trust in his employees. They do things right; if you're in the market, save yourself time and energy, go here.

Purchasing our new Forte GT-Line was the best car buying experience of my life. Sam did an excellent job in helping us select the right car for my daughter and during the finance portion everything was explained in a clear manner so that we could understand everything we were signing. We could really tell that they care about their customers here. I will use this dealership for all of my Kia purchases in the future.

We have bought 3 previous cars from this dealership. They have always been easy and honest to work with. We decided to downsize from a van to an SUV. Chase, the sales rep we worked with was terrific finding a way along with the financial dept to come close to our parameters of cost and monthly payments. After buying 3 cars at this dealer.There have been a couple instances after a few months ago of writing a glowing review I have to change to a negative. I went there with a screw in my tire that needed immediate attention and because it was Friday at 4:30 they told me they couldn't do it...I ended up at Walmart, they were getting ready to close but they had time....15 minutes is what it took. Then today after waiting for parts for many weeks and going to have them installed, after waiting about an hour was told the warranty was up. This should have been said before and when this whole issue started the warranty was not up. Not good customer service after purchasing 3 cars there. It won't happen again.

I have been driving a Kia Sedona that I purchased from Sunset Kia several years ago, and I was having it serviced there a few days ago. While I was there I asked if they had any used hybrids on hand. They did not have any listed but Andy (Washington) looked around and found that they had just received one in that morning. We went and looked at it and I drove it and said I would like to discuss buying it. After a short conversation we came to a fair agreement and I purchased the vehicle. Andy did an outstanding job of working with me, as did Luis.In a short amount of time we had completed the transaction. While we were doing the deal Andy and the detailer had the car cleaned and readied for me to take home. Great job by all, Thank you. PS, I love the car!
