Stay away from this dealership! Quoted a price on a Tahoe. Sales guy confirmed the price again via text. Dealer delivered the car. Then refused to honor the price quoted. Bait and switch kinda deal. Refused to stand behind their word.

Covert Chevy - Bastrop
I took my car to Covert(Bastrop) because another dealership failed to be able to fix it. Kevin in the service dept. at Covert had the determination to stick with it to get it fixed; whereas, the other dealership had had it for 2 months and kept saying nothing was wrong with it, but the engine light kept coming on. Thanks Kevin for your determination. I now feel safe on the road thanks to Covert - Bastrop.

Poor service
Made an appointment on a Monday for service to have work done on Friday. Have the vehicle there at 7:00 am . At 4 pm called for status on vehicle was advised that they were very busy and cant get to it until next week. wasn't a big deal to them. this was the dealership that i have purchased several vehicles from. i live in Bastrop my now i go to Hewitt Chevrolet Georgetown who in my opinion provides great service. Its a long drive for getting service on a vehicle but i will gladly do it before going to covert in Bastrop which is only a few blocks from the house. Making a appointment with them means nothing.

Horrible Service Department
I have purchased and owned Chevrolet’s for over 25 years and I have never owned anything else. However, if I had to deal with Covert Bastrop’s service department, I would change brands. HORRIBLE SERVICE DEPARTMENT! 6 months ago they left lug nuts loose on my truck after a simple tire rotation and I was told by a FORD service manager that I was very lucky. Then thinking they might have had a bad employee I scheduled my vehicle to be dropped off with them for a check engine light. At that time the “so called service advisor” (what a joke) told me that it would be at least a week and half maybe more before they could repair a check engine light. Then I said okay make me another appointment for a week and half. Then this dude says well I can’t do that because a week and half things change on our schedule and then it will be another week and half who knows. BIGGEST JOKE in Texas GO BUY A FORD or find reliable dealer!!!!

Covert is AMAZING
Covert is Amazing!!!!! We have been buying from Covert for over 20 years and Ernest has always been honest and conscientious of all our needs. He always finds us the best deal at the best price. Recently we purchased a new 2018 GMC 3/4 Ton Sierra and had several mechanical issues resulting in my wife and daughter being stranded along side the road with horses. Both times Covert immediately sent help and corrected the problem. The last time we had an issue, we shared are frustration with Ernest and told him we wanted Covert to correct the problem. Shortly afterwards we received a call from Chance Covert and he asked what it would take to make us happy. I told him we wanted the same truck that we have but one with 0 miles. He said he would look for one and get back with us. Within a couple hours Chance called and said come pick up your new truck. No One Else would have done that. Covert Chevrolet ALWAYS puts the customer first. They are amazing in every way. Im thankful twenty years ago I met Ernest and started buying trucks from him. I highly recommend Covert Chevrolet and Ernest will take care of you.

Great service, great communication!
Another great visit to Covert. We've bought three cars (four if you count my moms) at Covert Bastrop. Service from sales, to the service department is excellent. We have a 2016 Buick Envision that had a wobble in the front end. Then the rear AC stopped working so I called Kara Poole to bring it in. She made us an appointment and had a brand new loaner waiting for us. It was a very complicated fix so it took three weeks but when the car came back, it was like new and the hard to find wobble was gone (new design axles) Kara kept me up to date via text. Always a great experience at Covert. They really do treat you like family but when you've been buying cars there for many years, you are family! Go see Kara Poole for service and Harry Green to buy your car. He's a long time employee and works hard to get you what you want and Kara has been in the service field for many years and knows how to get the job done.
