Great experience at McGovern Ford
Had a great experience purchasing my new to me 2017 Ford Explorer Sport at McGovern a few months ago. I worked with Taryn Green as my sales person and let me say this - McGovern should NEVER let her go!!! She was amazing throughout the entire process. She was knowledgeable about the vehicle and the entire sales process, and also had really helpful knowledge of the funding/financing process as she used to work on the finance side. She even personally delivered the car when it was ready to go! I love the vehicle that I purchased at McGovern and feel that I got a great deal. Taryn is really what made the experience so top notch - she was amazing! If you go to McGovern, ask for Taryn Green.

Was told brakes problem was not "A Safety Issue"
The previous dealership (before it was bought by McGovern) installed new rotors and pads on my car in January 2019. By December 2019 after about 10,000 miles the front brakes started to make a grinding noise when turning and braking at slow speeds. In January 2020 I brought the car to McGovern and explained the problem, technicians were unable to recreate the noise on their drive, but did a ride along and heard the noise with myself driving. I was told the noise was "not a safety problem". In early March 2020, with the noise getting worse, I left the car with the dealership while on a trip. They failed call me during the week and when I called them again told me they could not recreate the noise. I took them on another test drive, was able to recreate the noise, and was told they would remove a small part of the brake pad to remove the "glaze". They were not able to issue new rotors and pads because they did not have the serial number of the pads on their files from the previous dealership. Now in May 2020 the car is still making the noise at low speeds when turning, and shakes when braking at speeds above 40 MPH because the rotors were not replaced. I am extremely disappointed with both the dealership and Ford. This dealership should honor and maintain the records from the previous dealership and should know the serial number of the brakes installed on my vehicle with a simple networked database. I will not be returning to this dealership for future services.

Fantastic Buying Experience !!
Outstanding team at McGovern Ford at Drum Hill! Zero pressure, totally relaxed buying experience. Be sure to ask for Craig Ramos when you stop in to buy your next car. Super professional salesman with no phony used car lot sales pitch. I drove all the way from Western Mass and I was not disappointed at all. Overall, a fantastic buying experience from a phenomenal sales team. I would highly recommend and I will definitely do business with Craig and McGovern Ford at Drum Hill in the future.

Great customer service
I had visited multiple dealerships looking for a new box truck for my company vehicle. I had recently purchased a pickup at a competitive dealer and had been loyal to them for some time. I checked out pricing at McGovern and met Rob Keenan, he was very knowledgeable honest and dependable. Between him and the manager Sambo they won my loyalty and i purchased the vehicle at McGovern. Once the vehicle was purchased there was a problem with the registry and Rob came in and spent his entire day off going back and fourth to the registry to resolve the issues for me. They turkey went above and beyond to provide great customer service. I would highly recommend shopping at mcgovern of Lowell and to ask for rob keenen as your sales person!

Test drove a used car that had significant mechanical issue. When I told them I did not want it they called me the next day at a different phone number and tried to sell me the same car again. Will NEVER do business with them.

Five Star Dealership
McGovern Ford in Lowell is awesome. I was looking for a used truck for my small business and they had a 2011 Ford Ranger in pristine condition. I got a great deal and the Sales Consultant Christina Ward was fantastic. She answered all my questions and we negotiated a good price. It was so convenient that they got everything ready for me to drive away the next day – contacted my insurance, got the plates, and did an inspection. I would highly recommend this car dealer.

Great car buying experience
After having a horrible experience at Rodman Ford in Foxboro we went in a little wary to say the least. But, even though we came late on Sunday afternoon a couple hours before closing, we were greeted by the Sales Manager Stephen who answered our questions and introduced us to Anthony. Anthony showed us a truck we loved and he and Stephen worked with us on pricing to get us in our budget range, including throwing in labor for running boards and a bed liner. They didn't push too hard, and they left us alone a few times so we could discuss without them in earshot. Then the financing people walked us through everything and answered my million questions (still wary from the Foxboro experience), staying past closing time. We pick up the new truck tomorrow and we couldn't be happier!
