Skalnek Ford

apparently i didn't realize the difference between the two phrases, "i will give you your payoff price for your trade" and "we will payoff your previous loan (and roll the difference into your new car" until it was too late. now they're selling our old car at a huge markup from what they paid for it instead of a reasonable markup if they would've just treated us fairly in the first place. very friendly people, but i will never buy a car from them again. this was just a little too sneaky for my taste...

I reached out to Ryan with what I thought would be an impossible request. Could he get me out of a bad leasing deal 17 months early and into a vehicle I would be happy with? Ryan is so kind and courteous. He helped me navigate the best option based on my needs. He promised me a quick signing process and he held true to his word. We chatted at 8 am about finalizing my paperwork. I arrived at 9:55 and was out the door and into my new car by 10:15. Amazing!

We were looking through cars.com for a newer vehicle for my wife. Found this nice silver Ford Focus after going through countless Kia, Hyundai, Chevy Cruze etc. She needs a smaller car, great on gas and get rid of the headaches of repair and out of warranty issues. Sent in the check availability email through cars.com and the very next day, Ted called. I told him that we will be over to look at it on Thursday. When we got there, Ted personally came out to greet us, showed us the car, I took it for a test drive. Couldn't get on the highway, too far from the dealer, but back roads through all the pot holes and lights. All seemed OK. My wife loved the car. We decided to deal. Ted was very patient with the whole process, making us feel at home. Finally the car was ours. He showed my wife every little gadget in the car before bidding us farewell. He even upgraded our CPO to the Premium A plan covering this Focus for the next 7 years or 100000 miles bumper to bumper. Which other dealer would upgrade a CPO to the bumper to bumper backed warranty? We thanked him and left. And any friend or family who is in need of a Ford vehicle, we will surely send them to Ted at Skalnek Ford of Lake Orion MI.

Lauren Moloney was one of the best new car sales representative that I had the joy of experiencing at a dealership. I would say that I had an overall great experience at Skalnek Ford because of Lauren!. Working with Lauren was great! She was very friendly and great to deal with. We were able to communicate in person, through email, and via text. The dealership itself is in a great location with easy access. I would recommend the dealership to anyone interested in a Ford.

I am retired from GM and started driving Fords in 2009. My wife and I recently decided we wanted to purchase an RV and travel. I looked back to GM thinking I wouldn't be able to afford a new F150 Ford. So I got pricing from the GM dealer. Then I spoke with Ryan Marshall my salesman at Skalnek. After paying off my current car, I was in the market for my dream car, a Ford Mustang, any year. I got a call from Ted Coons telling me he had something on the lot I might be interested in. It was a 2007 Mustang GT Convertible. I never thought it was possible, but after working out the terms of financing through Ford Credit, I drove off the lot in my dream car. I recently leased a new Ford Escape from this dealership and I am so pleased with my vehicle and the sales process! I chose this dealership because the sales person, Ryan Marshall, who responded to my initial generic request for information on line was the only sales rep who offered me so many options right from the get go! I received other dealer responses but they seemed abrupt and not really interested. So I set the first appointment with Ryan and after a little back and forth negotiating all my requirements were met. Ryan did not give up until I had the car I wanted ( color and all options) at the mileage and monthly payment for my budget and a great trade in price for my old Ford. I could not be happier with this experience and I am spreading the word.
