Dead battery
One week after taking delivery of my new Edge the battery was dead, had to jump it twice prior to calling the dealership regarding the problem. I was instructed to bring it in and they would look at it while I waited. The Battery was in fact bad and the service men did a great job replacing it and getting me on my way in less than an hour. My recommendation for future pre-delivery is to check the batteries on every vehicle that has been sitting on your lot from December 2016 to July 2017 or later, when I took delivery it had Ben sitting for seven months Greg Miller

"Treats you like Family"
This is my third purchase from the Skalnek Ford Dealership in Lake Orion and I couldn't be happier with the great customer service Ryan Marshall give me. In fact, we've recently moved to Imlay City, MI and my husband asked me why I didn't go there-my response was; because Ryan knows exactly what I want and take GREAT care of me-just like family! Everyone is very friendly and courteous, great place to purchase a Ford!

Routine Maintenance
Skalnek had always been good at reminding me when it's time for routine maintenance and oil changes. I took it in and it was ready before I could finish my breakfast sandwich. Then I was notified the oil change was FREE because of the punch card I had. It doesn't get much better than that.

Prompt and Courteous Service
I was in urgent and unexpected need of a new vehicle. Ryan Marshall was recommended to me and I headed over to Skalnek. We were greeted immediately upon entering the door and offered water (it was hot!). I asked for Ryan and we were led to his desk and as soon as he arrived he set about helping us. He was able to get me into a new vehicle for the payment I needed and gave us a reasonable trade-in for a car that shouldn't even be on the road anymore. Not only did he give us this excellent service, but whenever we were waiting on something he took the opportunity to help someone else. I also met Robin and she was great, too! I will definitely return to this dealership and Ryan is now my car guy!

Pre-delivery
There are two things that you need to analyze, one the new vehicle prepping and final signiture process. The vehicle had dirty door jams, there was glue or some hardened material on the left rear door glass and the lift gate glass had smudges in three places, the windshield on the drivers side did not get totally cleaned. I did not notice these things while at your offices due to it raining very hard whe I took delivery. I did not like the way the additional road hazard, and the various other things that were being offered prior to my taking delivery, it reminded me of a ABC warehouse sales tactics, left a sour taste in my mouth to say the least, it might have worked on someone that was not familiar with the vehicle warranty as well as their own insurance policy Greg Miller

great small town feel
I have had great experiences here. Everybody in the sales department is very nice. Ask for Matt, he went above and beyond for me. For service, they give a small discount from the other dealerships, so you can feel like you're getting a good deal for oil changes and routine maintenance. Very nice and honest. All i have been in for are oil changes and tire rotations, but they were prompt, easy to talk to, and reasonable on price
