Great dealership and experience once again.
This is my second lease purchase from DeNooyer Chevrolet. I must say, I am always impressed by this dealerships professionalism and courtesy in providing me a pleasurable experience each time I visit them for a new vehicle. Their staff is very knowledgeable and quick to answer any and all questions whether easy or complicated. They help explore all areas of the purchase and even to suggest alternatives, which has been very appreciated in my own purchase case recently. Of mention are General Manager Nicole DeNooyer and sales and leasing consultant Dave Kemper. Both are very friendly and go that extra mile to make a purchase a quick and easy process. I will continue to use them in the future. Great Job DeNooyer.

Unbelievably Good
We believe in the future of electric cars. We've looked around, and for many reasons, decided on a Chevy Volt. Well, we've lived in Michigan a long time, and felt that GM ought to be rewarded for finally listening to what people want. Frankly, this is the first American-made car we've ever owned. We've seen Denoyer, driven by it forever, but had no idea what we would find inside. After driving Toyotas for a few years, we had come to expect a nice bunch of people in sales and service. Perfectly nice. But Denoyer is so customer-centered, my husband and I found ourselves staring at one another as we went through the buying process. Actually gaping (we're not gapers). Rob, our salesman, was so kind, helpful, patient with our many questions, but when he started talking about the service team, annual detailing, for free, loaner cars for service visits... We felt as if we'd somehow won the lottery. We know the family. We know how much they have contributed to the town. Now we know why they've been here so long--a third or fourth generation family business. It's because they are actually better than their competition in customer centered sales. Amazing.

Thank you very much for your review! We know it takes extra effort to write a review. We are glad you had a good experience! The Chevrolet Volt is a very special vehicle and we are proud to sell it. It is wonderful to hear that you are giving an American vehicle an opportunity. Currently the Volt is rated as the highest vehicle in customer satisfaction sold in the US today. As a dealership we will strive to make your Volt ownership a great one! Thank you, Dominique DeNooyer

I just purchased a late model used car from DeNooyer Chevrolet. The car is extremely clean inside and out, and is just what we have been looking for. I'll be driving this car for a long time. Very friendly people to deal with.

Unwilling to warrenty
Purchased 2006 jeep Grand Cherokee in late Oct 2012, agreement was to purchase if Dealer fixed anything that was wrong due to service light being on. To my benefit to engine needed replacement. In early November things were finally done and I was on my way with the nicest lookin 06 Jeep around. Happy Happy. Well now the transmission has gone out and they say they will not do anything for me and that it's ALL my problem and I should have bought the extended warranty. Not happy with this situation and will never deal with DeNooyer again. Told them i did not expect them to cover full cost, just maybe part of it would have been a nice gesture.

Thank you for taking your time to fill out a response. I really apologize that you are having trouble with your 2006 Jeep you bought from us. We pride ourselves in taking care of the customer after the sale! It looks like we initially paid the full cost to replace your motor with a remanufactured engine for $6,535.00. The engine came with a 3 yr or 100,000 mile warranty on it as well. Unfortunately the transmission went on the vehicle a few months later...I checked our safety report when we traded the jeep in and there were no indications that the transmission would have premature failure. We do offer a 20% discount on any repairs done at our service department in the first 12 months or 12,000 miles for vehicles that have over 100,000 miles. In your case the vehicle was fixed at another shop so we mailed you a check for 20% of what the transmission replacement would have been at our shop (total repair would be $2550 for a used transmission with 20,000 miles and a 1 yr warranty, so we sent you a check for $510 to compensate for that even though the repair was done elsewhere). The option was given to purchase an extended warranty to cover items that may break and that was declined at the time of purchase. I know it is not always easy to pay the additional money for an extended service contract. In hindsight I am sure we both wish that would have happened to make the repairs less expensive for both of us. Thank you for your response and if you have any questions or concerns don't hesitate to contact me at 616.396.2333 x247 Thank you, Dominique DeNooyer
Wheel Damage
I had an appointment scheduled for September 20th, in which i requested my tires to be taken off of the rims and resealed in an effort to remedy my tires from leaking air slowly over the course of a the week. I had also requested an oil change as well as one of my inner vents to be looked at. The Service manager later called me to let me know that the work had to be outsourced because Denooyer Chevrolet lacked the equipment to deal with low profile tires. I casually agreed knowing that the service manager had my best interest at heart. I picked the car up late on the 20th and paid my bill of 200 some dollars without a question knowing that I've always been satisfied with the work from this dealership. Immediately after driving my car out of the dealership and hopping on 196 I noticed my car shaking and steering wheel shaking about an inch back and forth. I was later informed that this "professional" from the Holland Tire Center that worked on my car neglected to balance the wheels after removing the tires from them. I struggle to understand why a proper balancing wasn't done but this is beside the point. I left my Camaro with the dealership overnight and was given a loner, thanks to the service manager. I called back the next day to learn that my car had to be sent back to the same company (Holland Tire Center) to have the wheels rebalanced. When I returned to Denooyer Chevrolet to pick up my Camaro I checked my wheels to be sure that no damage had occurred to them and was shocked to find that my wheels had been scratched on pretty much every spoke. Some scratches are mild but on other wheels the scratches are deeper and much more prominent. Even the service manager can confirm that they were not like this when they went into the Holland Tire Center for re-balancing. Beyond that, my wheels are still out of balance as well as my alignment is now out of order due to this. So to be absolutely clear, I do not feel that my wheels were damaged under the care of Robert Denooyer Chevrolet, I know that they were damaged after having service performed at Robert Denooyer Chevrolet. The need and choice to sublet the work done was under the dealerships responsibility, which I am sure they can agree that the dealership is responsible for anything that happens to a car under their care. Furthermore, I requested them to be replaced because what I had originally brought in was in fact Factory Quality wheels. As far as I know there is no possible way to restore my wheels to this state without replacing them. It was Mr. Denooyer himself that stated that the rims were too expensive to replace at the dealers cost so he decided to have a technician look into refurbishing my wheels, which I am fully against. We've had a technician out to look into resurfacing them and he's told both the service manager and myself that it would not be possible to get all of the scratches out. So what has been offered is not replacing what damage was done, but merely covering it up. This new solution that is being offered is now going to leave me without a car to drive for the next two weeks as the wheels go out for repairs and we'll have to find some place to store my car in the mean time since it will no longer have wheels. The plan is to inconvenience me further by sending my wheels out of state to be professionally refinished. This is not the dealership i would go to for service. The owner is difficult to deal with and they lack the proper equipment to deal with low profile tires and rims. Also, if they damage your car good luck getting them to give you a fair replacement for what was damaged.

Thank you for your time to write your review. We can understand how important having your camaro in top condition is. This is a difficult situation as the holland tire center has denied responsibility for the damage to the wheels. The owner( Bob DeNooyer) took the 2010 camaro over with you to the shop and spoke with the manager to verify what happened in their facility. Our offer is to refurbish the wheels, which we will pay 100% which is $300 per wheel ($1200 total) or give a credit towards purchasing the new rims are $600 per rim ($2400 total)...customer's portion toward new wheels would be $1200. The company that refurbishes the wheels claims the wheels will look new or very close to new as they are alloy wheels. We are currently evaluating if we should purchase a machine to mount and balance the rims for our sports cars. In the past we have not had any issues come up with this particular sublet repair facility. We pride ourselves in having a very limited amount of sublet repairs at our dealership! We prefer to have everything under our control with our experienced staff. I know this is a patience testing situation as it takes time to refurbish the wheels. Our service department will provide you with a vehicle while the camaro is out of service...I know that is not perfect. Feel free to give me a call after the wheels are refurbished and I will try to be reasonable if their condition is not up to a high standard for a 2010 camaro. Thank you, Dominique DeNooyer 616.396.2333 x247

very good customer service
We bought our van from DeNooyer about a month ago, and upon discovering that some repairs were needed about three weeks after our purchase, they went the extra mile and took care of most of the work for us. Customer service is sorely lacking in most places these days, and I appreciate the work that Andy and Dom did to get everything settled. I am a happy customer!

New Car Purchase
We have purchase a new car from DeNooyer before on a lease. It was a Chevy Malibu which we were driving at the time. We have deal with Rob Huizenga before. My wife drives pass DeNooyer every day going to work and when she would come home she would tell me all about what Camaro's they had on the lot that day liked she worked there. She being a Camaro fan since she was a teen and always wanted a Camaro made me think that Christmas was coming and thought I would check into buying a Camaro for her for Christmas. One Saturday I drove to DeNooyer and surprise my wife that we were going to look at the Camaro's and see what we needed to do on getting one. When we walked in Rob greeted us and remember us from when he got us into the Malibu. I told him we wanted to know if we could get into a Camaro. He said that he would see what he could do. After spending many hours with him we agree on the price and said he would have it ready for pickup. As he promise it was ready when we came to pick it up. My wife loved it. Rob Huizenga did a great job on getting us into a 2011 Camaro and made my wife's dream come true! I would recommend DeNooyer to anyone. When we walk in there someone is always there to help us. Thanks Again.

Reffered to DeNooyer and couldn't be happier!!!
My husband and I went to DeNooyer because my daughter-in-law told us about them. She had just purchased a car from them and was very happy with her expierience. She took us on a test drive right after she got her car. We loved it and she recommended we look at the same vehicle. When we met the salesman, he was very professional and treated us like family. We got such a great deal on the vehicle and even got more than we thought we would for our trade. They had to bring the car in from another state and then clean and inspect it. With all that, we still had our new car in 4 days!!! There are so many nice things about DeNooyer, friendly, professional, patient, family-run, etc. My husband and I couldn't recommend a better place to get a car, new or used!

I had my new car later that week!!! All the sales people were really friendly and went out of their way to make me satisfied. For being 4 yrs old the vehicle I got from them was spotless! I don't know if I have ever seen such a clean interior!!!The service was great and the remodel of the building is beautiful! When my husband and I go to buy another vehicle we will deffinately go back to DeNooyer!!!
