Bill Rapp Subaru great service

Matt Rabbia went above and beyond to help me. I am a grandma and I was looking for an Ascent because I needed room for a third carseat! He was very patient and answered all my questions! He also worked with us on our trade in!

Purchase, yes. Service, think twice...

I recommend the dealership for purchasing a car. However... I purchased my 2014 Forester from Bill Rapp in the fall of 2013. I love and depend on the car and it has had very few issues to deal with. The Subaru brand is outstanding. The last time I used Rapp's service department was when I was charged $68 to replace a $13 cabin air filter that takes 2 minutes to replace. I have since done that. And I am fortunate to have a reputable, reliable mechanic near my home, since I live 40 minutes from Rapp's dealership/service center. With transmission electronics issues that could not be resolved by my local guy, I returned to Rapp's service center to have the problem diagnosed and parts replaced. A day and a half later, I paid the $2200 bill and received a list of other "issues" that were the service tech found "needed attention", along with estimated costs for each. I was told the back-up camera was not working. It worked when I left my driveway to bring the car in. When I got home, I lifted the hatch, cleaned and wiggled the camera a bit and found it working just fine. Better than the $640 estimate to replace the camera. Despite another estimate, I have never had to pay $860 for a brake job. The front right parking lamp that I purchased for $3.50 and replaced in 2 minutes, was estimated at $25. If all parts for servicing the vehicle are marked up at 7 times the cost, I have to shop elsewhere, if at all possible. I realize that Bill Rapp has a business to run, service techs and other employees to pay and can't reply on new car sales at this time to sustain them. Given more reasonable pricing and more expedient communications from the service department, I would do more business with them.

Excellent service. Timely. Very pleasant personnel. Great department manager who stays on top of things and answers any question I have. Pleasant waiting room. Would not think of going to any other place for service.

I never knew I'd love a Buick!

Honestly, incredible service. Came in originally looking for a Subaru Forester, however after going through some questions and figuring things out, Julie there showed me a 2019 Buick Encore Preferred and I pretty much fell in love! From there, Bill (one of the managers there) and Julie were very communicative and helpful with finalizing everything up. Down to earth sales environment, and I don't say that lightly. Highly recommend.

Great experience

Matt rabbia helped us with some questions about our new Crosstrek. Patient, knowledgeable. I also called Service earlier in the day with a question and the young lady who answered the phone promptly got an answer for me.

The best service department!

Excellent service department. The young lady that met me at my car is outstanding! The guys at the counter are easy to work with. Very clean operation. Everyone is totally professional and courteous. Restroom is also spotless.
