Great Experience !

My husband and I went into dealership after doing our online research and the staff couldn't be more helpful. It was a super easy buying experience.

BEWARE!!!! PLEASE READ This company goes by a “first...

BEWARE!!!! PLEASE READ This company goes by a “first come first serve” rule. That seems all fine and dandy until you finalize a deal, complete all finance applications through them and become approved (through them which is a hard inquiry), GET INSURANCE ON THE VEHICLE and pay your PREMIUM, have the insurance company send them the paperwork proving the vehicle is insured. All so that they know it is a 100% sale and for any normal dealership would put a SOLD SIGN ON THE VEHICLE. All that is left is to sign the papers.3 Hours later they call you while your on the way to the dealership to say WE SOLD THE TRUCK........ I don’t care what rule you have for “ first come first serve” this is about ETHICS AND MORAL RESPONSIBILITY AND THEY FAILED MISERABLY. MY POINT IS.... IF THEY CAN DO THAT AND NOT BLINK AN EYE, WHAT ELSE ARE THEY CAPABLE OF!! THEY OBVIOUSLY DONT HAVE RESPECT FOR THEIR CUSTOMER BASE AND ARE SOLELY ABOUT THE DOLLAR AND COULD CARE LESS ABOUT YOU AS A CUSTOMER. IF THEY CAN DO THIS TYPE OF SCAME THEY ARE CAPABLE OF MUCH MORE

Buying another truck at Wiscasset Ford

Other than the long wait (which was more to do with staffing requirements with COVID), the entire process was excellent. Chris and Andrew did a great job helping me get the truck I wanted. I've bought several vehicles here over the years - always a great experience.

I had a great experience at Wiscasset Ford!! My salesperson, Laura, was great; and very patient with us. My Escape was not going to be ready until Monday-it needed brakes and 4 tires-and they gave me a different Escape to keep for the weekend. I love my new to me vehicle. This is my first SUV.

Jeff was extremely knowledgeable about the Explorers. He was also well prepared for our appointment. Even though he was selling two other vehicles that morning, at no time did we feel neglected. We had the best car buying experience in a very long time. In six years, we will be calling Jeff

These guys are open, forthright, honest, empathetic, and helpful. I recommend Wiscasset Ford for as a place to go to find people you can trust. My vehicle is superb and I would fly 511 miles and then drive my vehicle home 511 again just to work with Wiscasset Ford. Mike

New car shopping

Friendly, patient, knowledgeable - very pleasant experience. I drove away with a brand new Escape. I love my new car and would recommend this dealership to others.

First encounter

Reasonably satisfied. Salesman buggered the threads on the license plate inserts. Had to return to service to correct. Was corrected at no charge. Service people very apologetic and professional.

Purchased new truck

Friendly but would have liked more bargaining on price. Selection was limited for vehicle I was looking for. Overall the salesman was pleasant and explained everything about the truck.
