I wasn't the easiest customer, but Fernando was awesome
I do too much research before buying anything, and this also applies to cars. I was in the market for a wagon/SUV with a budget of around $17k. After doing the research, I was leaning towards a Mazda CX-9. Searching around through cargurus, craigslist, autotrader and truecar, I found 2 good examples, and both at the same location: Wiz Autos. The worst part of any of this, Wiz Autos is about 75 minutes from my house. But, I will drive to save, and so I drove. I made sure it was going to be worth my time, and they had 5 vehicles I was considering in all (2 CX9s, 1 CX5, 1 RAV4, 1 Tucson) so it was worth the trip. All were in the year/mileage/price range I was looking for. To further confuse things, I was working the trip into my work day, but my wife was also to meet me there, in a second vehicle. The intention was to trade our 2009 Altima (my work car) and buy whichever we liked best of the 5, and that would become her primary vehicle. Good old plans... While driving her 2001 Outback LL Bean (which was to become my new work car, I was DONE with the Altima) to Wiz, the serpentine belt came off! So what was intended to be a single car purchase, turned into a 2 car pursuit. Firstly, the CX-9. The specific one we wanted to see most (2014 Red) was just taken in by them, and was out for warranty work so we drove the other option (Blue 2014). Also drove the CX5, and took a look at the RAV4 and Tucson but passed without driving. The CX-9 was everything we had hoped, and everything my research led me to believe: smooth, handles like a car, enough conveniences and luxury for us. Awesome, done. Agreed on a price for the Altima. Done. We had planned on replacing the Outback at some point...but the engine was strong, it's all leather and a very smooth ride. We are the second owners and it has been maintained well it's entire life. But...hey, these things happen. We didn't want to deal with replacing the belt, which was visibly frayed. They gave us a fair price for it, so I went looking, with Fernando's help, for a new work vehicle (I drive roughly 1000 miles a week, prefer stick, not picky otherwise, Altima is a soul xxxxxxx automatic I never wanted but...circumstances...). Quickly found a 2012 Jetta with 35k miles, 12 GTI with 67, and 06 Avalon with 60K ORIGINAL!. Drove the Jetta. That's the one. GTI looked like it had a rough life, Avalon wasn't on site, but after driving the Jetta, though I was intrigued by this rare bird from Toyota, I knew what the driver in me needed. Jetta. Done. This was on a Monday. We dropped in without an appointment, and were immediately helped by Fernando. He greeted me at the door, I knew what I wanted to see, he quickly rounded up 5 sets of keys, and we went walking around the lot. No pressure, no nonsense. "This is what you want to see? Ok, this way...and this, and this, and this, and this." Awesome. I was about 20 minutes ahead of my wife, after glancing over the cars and starting them, she arrived. So Fernando says, "Take the keys, walk around, talk, I'll be here when you come in." I couldn't ask for better service. I DO NOT want a salesman polluting the air with "leather this, option that, look how nice!" It just doesn't work for me, so for him to just hand the keys to us after walking around with me was stellar. After completing all the deals, we arranged to come pick them up, drop off the Altima (the Outback never left) and sign all the paperwork on Wednesday. So we show up Wedneday. Jetta is SPOTLESS (there was a long scuff/scrape down the passenger side Fernando said they were going to take care of, I was asking to see the car before they had prepped it for sale). Shining silver, and gorgeous. 5 speed, cloth, simple, no frills, exactly what I wanted for my work car. The Outback would have been nice, but I prefer a stick and I love the basic simplicity this Jetta offered. The CX-9 was still getting cleaned, but that Mazda red is a thing of BEAUTY! Again, spotless inside and out. Well worth the wait. In addition to being a great salesman, answering all my questions with no pressure, on Tuesday when I was looking for pictures of the Red one (which, again, we didn't physically see but drove a duplicate model different color) on Tuesday, Fernando made it happen. I only found out part way through the day that it was his day off! Ralph took us through the paperwork, and he was great as well. Easy to talk to, made the tedium of signing stacks of paperwork go by painlessly. It's clear the people who work here enjoy each other. It is reflected in everyone's attitude and makes for a good experience. There was one issue...but it was my fault. Now, pertaining to the title of this review...when we showed up Wednesday, I screwed up. There was a very specific thing I didn't do, that had to be done, and could only be done from my house....75 minutes away. Though the screwup was 100% on me, Fernando and Ralph were fantastic with how they "managed" my mistake, and saved me from ANOTHER 2.5 hour round trip. I can't get into more detail than that, but what I can say, again, is THANK YOU to Fernando and Ralph. They went far above and beyond. All deals were set, they could have said, "see you tomorrow!" and I wouldn't have had a thing to say. Shop around, compare prices. You can find other cars in the ballpark, few consistently cheaper. This was the 4th place I went to in search of trading in my Altima. The first 3 places had me leaving, cursing their name, and being aggravated that giving someone thousands of dollars for a car can be so xxxx impossible when dealing with idiots. Fernando, Ralph and Wiz Autos left me feeling thrilled about my purchase(s). I often get buyer's remorse, but with what I paid, and what we drove away in...I'm not feeling it. In fact, just the opposite. I would recommend them to anyone. In fact, I did earlier today to a doctor's office manager I see daily. I didn't deal with any other salesman, so it's not entirely fair...but I DID deal with Fernando, and he was awesome, so ask for him. I don't plan on buying another car for several years, but I will be sure to check their inventory first when I am back in the market. The ONLY thing I would change is to move them closer than 75 minutes away. That suuuuuuucked. Even still, worth every mile, every minute, and hopefully every dollar. Only time will tell with that, but that wouldn't be on Wiz at that point. Shop with confidence!

Professional, friendly and helpful
I'm giving Wiz autos a 5 star rating because my experience there was great. I was recommended by a friend. It was my first time there and I could not be happier. Fernando was very professional and friendly. One of the things that made my experience so great was that he was very knowledgeable and attentive with everything throughout the whole process. This was my first time meeting Fernando but it felt like I've known him for years after only one visit! This is the only place I will be going from now on. I recommend this dealership to everybody. Thanks again!

My experience at Wiz Auto
I was preapproved by capital one so called Wiz Auto & spoke with Gabe Rios. He was very professional on the phone and told me to come on down. I have never been to a dealership that worked as quickly and efficiently. Gabe was very knowledgeable on the process and started my application. Within an hour I was approved and ready to complete my contract for my new car. Meir in finance was great as well. Both gentleman had a great personality and very much a pleasure to work with. I will definitely be sending people to see Gabe and Wiz Auto!!!

Great Car....Great Experience
I was 4 hours from the dealership and was hesitant to purchase a car without even seeing it in person first. Travis was excellent to work with. He answered all my questions, did a great job describing the car and provided plenty of pictures so that I felt confident in making the 4 hour trip to make the purchase. I would definitely recommend Travis and Wiz Auto to anyone looking for a quality used car.

Fantastic experience with Travis and the Wiz
We hate shopping for cars but really had a great experience dealing with the Wiz and with Travis. After looking around we found their prices the lowest but that didn't reflect at all on the service. We bought two cars and Travis guided us through the whole process. He was very knowledgable and answered all the questions we had. Financing was very fair and they went out of their way to make sure we got everything we needed. Cars were in great shape and we love driving them. Highly recommend Travis as a salesperson and highly recommend the Wiz.
