Very Professional and Friendly Environment!

This is the second car that I have purchased through Gary Heim. He is a wonderful person with which to work. Gary is not pushy, but possesses a great ability to determine what vehicle works best for you. His working knowledge of the vehicle is a great asset. I would recommend looking him up for your next vehicle. I have recommend Gary to several family and friends. Thank you Gary!

No stress vehicle purchasing

Haggling, dealing, and negotiating when purchasing a vehicle causes me great stress and anxiety. Thank to sales consultant, B.J.Shelton, none of these negative situations occurred. I told him what I was looking for. He found a vehicle on the lot that met my needs and budget. WOW! No stress car purchasing! Thanks B.J.! After sales customer service very impressive. I had one concern. It was addressed immediately. I thank all the dealership personnel that worked with me on this purchase.

Excellent Experience

I am happy to report that my wife and I had an excellent experience at Steve Schmitt. Awesome no pressure sales

BJ Shelton was fantastic during my process of selecting my Buick Encore and when it didn't come in the way I expected it to (minus the chrome wheels) he is taking care of that for me. No pressure from him. He wants to make sure everything is perfect.

Great dealership and service department

I purchased a 2014 Silverado. It has been serviced by this dealership since purchase. They are extremely polite, attentive to my questions and timely in doing the service. OrphanClient St01 Bu01 and Ashley Barnett do a great job. I will definitely seek out this dealership for my future new vehicle requirements.

High service up front, not so much after

We went shopping for a used van and found one we liked at Steve Schmitt. BJ was our salesman, he was very friendly and helpful. Some hang ups we had were trade in values.. Originally we discussed one price for our trade in after researching it on a website, then when it came down to sale time, we were offered significantly less on our trade, being told that "That's what we can buy this car at auction for." Our other hang up is that the van we bought has a minor cosmetic damage that we were promised would be fixed (Even had one of those "We Owe" when we set up the sale). I asked BJ when we could expect to get that taken care of and was promised a call back, that was months ago. Partially my fault as well though since we didn't follow through with them either, but you would think a company big on taking care of local customers would remember to take care of small details like that.. Will probably use them again, though just to support local

Buying my two dream cars!

I have lived in Highland, Illinois for almost twenty years. When I first moved here I started to have them do my service to my old Chevy Lumina. When it was time to buy my very first new car, I worked with Gary Heim and he helped me select and buy a brand new silver Pontiac Grand Prix. Gary made it easy--he treated me professionally but also understood how excited I was to buy my first new car. Well, I kept that car for many years and would always get it serviced at the dealership. Gary was never pushy, but kept reminding me in a friendly way, "Hey Tami, that car isn't going to last forever, you are going to have to get a new car someday." In my years with the Grand Prix, it only had one mechanical issue and when I brought it in and told them I really needed the car fixed quickly, they worked with my schedule to get my car fixed quickly. Well, finally after about 130,000 miles I saw the new Chevy Impalas. I went in and Gary helped me again buy my second dream car. Gary is just great to work from selecting a car, to financing, to trying to teach me how to use the radio. :) Ashley Barnett has also been helpful in my dealings as has the outstanding service department. I love my two year old Chevy Impala, but when it is time to buy another dream car I know that Gary will help me again! Thanks!

Sales people did a good job.

Ashley Barnett and Bryan Horner did a good job with making a deal with me. The person that did the paperwork was not nice at all to me, trying to tell me what I did and did not need to purchase when signing papers. He also over charged me for my license plates but they did finally refund me that back, but it took them a little over 2 months to do it.
