Used to be a trustworthy business and now they lie about
Used to be a trustworthy business and now they lie about whats wrong with the car to take you the longest and most expensive way around to fixing it, if they get around to doing it at all, they cheat you on the price of the parts and on the time of labor, they purposefully damage and therefore steal, not only important equipment for functionality of the vehicle but manage to break buttons for windows and slide racks for the seats. Utterly dishonest and so disreputable a company have they become. Will Never bring my car there even to change my tire again.

Double Credit Charges and No Help on a Saturday!
Here I am trying to buy a more family oriented car than burns was willing to do for me in the beginning The only option they gave me was buy here pay here so I in desperate need of a vehicle fell for it! The first buy here pay here was totaled in an accident so they offered another but only buy here pay here. I got a 2008 Dodge Caliber and had to take it back Multiple times for repairs. The thing is it was over $12k to do the buy here pay here to find out today while trying to purchase a brand new SUV (that fits my family size) that the care on Kelly Blue Book is only worth $1700. I also was denied getting a brand new car because they have the remaining charges for this junk car on mine and my husbands credit twice making it look like I owe them for two vehicles so the bank would not finance me for that reason only! Yes my credit isn’t perfect but Burns would not even think of trying to help someone in need rather they sold me a car and made 10k off of me while they have me blocked from purchasing anywhere else! Robert the sales person was very kind and very deceiving at this point as of what all I know now! JTs Kia in Rock Hill Sc was truly trying to help me today and could have put me in a brand new car had the current car from Burns not been doubled on my credit making it look like I owe over $18k for a 2008 car only worth $1700.00 to begin with. I have several instances where Heather in accounts receivable has been rude to me. I called and so did JTs Kia in Rock Hill about trying to get a pay off balance on the car I have financed through them and no one could help. They asked couldn’t it wait until Monday? No it shouldn't have to wait until Monday for a working family that is only off on the weekend! Why is there no one there on a Saturday (when most working people buy a new car) that can give a pay off on a vehicle for another dealership? This kept me from getting my new car today and this is bad business. I would never recommend this dealership to anyone! Make sure you know what the true price should be of what you are buying if you chose to use them.

Best Car Dealership Experience!!!
Josh Henley was by far one of the best sales associates I have ever dealt with, especially in a car dealership. He is a good man who actually tries to get to know his customer rather then just shove a new vehicle down our throats. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicle and was honest enough to admit when he didn't have the answer and worked to find one. When Burns did not have a vehicle on the lot to satisfy our needs, he worked hard to find one and arranged a transfer; not to many dealerships do this anymore. Our hats off to the staff at Burns, we will recommend and will one day be back. Other GM dealerships should look at what the Burns Family has built in Gaffney and model it. Well Done!!!!!

Unfortunate experience
I drove 3+ hours to pick up a vehicle from Burns. On paper and in person the vehicle looked good. However before I made the trip down, I asked if there were any flaws in the paint and I was told no. After purchase and first detail of the vehicle, I went to remove the dealer sticker. Upon trying to do so you could see an outline of the previous dealers sticker. It appears when they removed the previous dealer sticker they managed to pull the paint off with it. The fix was to put the Burns sticker over it to conceal the blunder. I have emailed them but often no response. In addition, I left the dealership with 45 day tags. There was a mixup in completing the paperwork that was sent to DMV and the paperwork was returned to Burns. Subsequently my temporary plates expired and Burns would not send additional temporary plates. This left me with a vehicle I could not drive due to a clerical error. I have had better service.

Mr JT I am sorry for your experience. Our guys in detail must have seen the flaw and covered it up. Our salespeople would not have known that the flaw was there. Also I am sorry for the lack of follow through on the issue, if you would like to talk to me directly about it you can email me at charlie@burnsofgaffney.com. With the DMV paperwork I cannot speak directly to your situation but I know that the Virginia tag office said they were backed up for 3-4 weeks. I am sorry but we do not have any other avenues and it is against the law for us to send out temporary plates when the plate is expired. 2018 Chevy Silverado
My husband and I were shopping for a new truck for him. When we arrived at Burns Chevy it had a positive feel. The staff was friendly and very helpful. Jason was even gracious enough to come out in the rain and help is. Scott was very knowledgeable and upfront. Scott and Jason made our truck buying experience painless and stress free. I highly recommend going to burns if you looking for a new vehicle and check Scott and Jason out. Burns has an awesome team!! We love our new 2018 Chevy Silverado!
