Automax provided a refreshingly low-key experience for purchasing a used car at an affordable price.  Agustus Martin listened to what we wanted, was knowledgeable about the cars but never pushy.  And then Joe Fulner, in finance, was friendly and went the extra mile to save us some money while completing our purchase.  We received our tag and title in a timely fashion.

We were greeted nicely and eager to help me understand what I did't know. Was willing to negotiate with me to a comfortable price. Being a senior citizen I did not feel taken advantage of.

I have purchased multiple vehicles from AutoMax, always a pleasure. Jesse was very professional and helpful. I highly recommend working with Jesse! Frank in finance was also a pleasure to work with.

I was already pre-approved by Capital One they ran my credit through three other institutions and wrecked up my credit score unnecessarily now my credit report reflects 3 hard inquiries that need not be there and they think it's a joke I bought the vehicle before I knew this because they were very deceitful about their process I would tell anyone that is considering AutoMax of Ocala to not buy a vehicle from them I wished I had not

My only bad experience I can say is that the car we bought is badly infested with roaches. But other then that great overall experience

Dan Gallagher was amazing. At no point were we pressured or felt like any info was being withheld. All info and questions were answered and given in detail. We stopped by on a reference from a co-worker to look around and ended up driving a new car home. Everyone was great and and went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and NOT pressured at all.

No high pressure at CarMax. I was both excited to go car shopping and dreading it! Our past experiences at high pressure dealerships were horrible. CarMax was an amazing experience! We truly felt that our salesman wanted to help us find the right car for us. We felt like he was our friend! We couldn’t believe we found the right car so quickly. Thank you Drew! Thank you CarMax!

James and Joe are the real deal !!! Being in sales myself I normally dread dealing with a situation where I assume I will get the text book sales pitch when it comes to being the customer. James made me feel quite at ease and made the purchasing process fun and enjoyable . Joe was also a pleasure to deal with as he is quite knowledgeable and personable for a "Finance Guy" ...lol Overall it was one of the best car buying experiences I have had .I would highly recommend Automax for your next vehicle purchase ... Had been looking for a certain car and saw what I was looking for in an ad. Decided to stop in and check it out. Exactly what I was looking for.. Allen was very helpful and very professional. The cars literature was missing and he was able to track it down and mailed it to me.. Excellent pricing we'll use them again
