Automax of Ocala

Ive purchased cars with friends and family and my own several times in my life. Once at a Mazda dealer, I wanted to know the price I would be financing "including everything" and they told me that price but then added over 800 dollars of doc stamps. I asked what part of "including everything" did they not understand. I will not be going there again. Another time, I went with my best friend to Honda. My friend works 2 jobs to support herself. She has a major disability but gets nothing for it. She was buying her own car and the Honda salesman was pushy and persuasive and guilted her into buying that moment instead of letting us go to lunch. After those two experiences, I was ready to deal with a salesman when we came to buy my Mom her car. We met with James Cohen and told him what we were looking for and what price range. We test drove a couple of cars and selected one that was just out of the range we were seeking and offered cash about 3 grand less. He was unable to do that. We asked what else he had. He allowed us to look at a nice car that was one year older and the price was closer to our needs. We then offered what we were seeking which was less than what they were asking and offered a trade. We then made a deal that was fair for both us and the dealership. James was pleasant, not pushy and worked to provide what we were seeking. I will recommend him again to anyone seeking an honest person to purchase a car from.

I went to AutoMax recently and from the time I stepped foot on the property the Customer Service was excellent. The sales assosciate was very pleasant and informative about all the SUVs I test drove. Salesmen Ryan and Randy did a great job at contacting my bank and making the process quick and easy. Thank you so much for the great experience. I love my new JEEP!

I have been searching the Ocala area for a used truck and trust me, I did not know how stressful it would be. After many nights surfing the net and test driving trucks at several of the local dealerships, I found my dream truck. I had requested information from AutoMax and first thing next morning I received a call from a bubbly, friendly young lady Tammy. She left a message for me and we both have very busy schedules, so we played phone tag and finally today I was able to make it in. Tammy already had the truck she knew I would love, and yes, she was right. A couple of hours later my daughter and I were driving off of the lot with a beautiful 2014 Ford F-150. Dan Gallagher was our sales guy and he did an excellent job of taking care of our every need and concern. We received a very fair trade in amount for the car we brought in, and test drove no less than five vehicles before making a decision.
