The experience can be summed up as "Exceptional". We traveled over 70 miles to only view the vehicle but ended up leaving with this new car. Tammy the sales person was wonderful to work with the dealership was very upfront and displayed true integrity and professionalism. The show room was being remodel that is the reason for the aveage rating. We had been to many dealerships in the central fl area. Had some good and bad experiences. I told my husband I never wanted to talk to another sales person. I didn't even go with him to look on Saturday. He came home and told me that James Cohen was very friendly. We purchased a Ford F150 in December of 2010 for my wife and were quite happy with it we were looking for a car for me and have seen some newer F150's on the lot after several visits drive by's with lots of inventory selection this White F150 caught my wife's eye. We thought that they would offer us less than what we owe on our current model so we said lets give it a shot and they gave a great trade in and put us in a newer F150. Thanks Guys. I was reluctant to commit to buying a car from over 1000 miles away, based purely on the pictures I saw on cars.com of a 2003 Buick Park Avenue Ultra. Chris seemed pleasantly honest as I discussed this car over the phone with him. I didn't get that ugly feeling that he was just trying to make a sale at the expense of an out-of-state buyer who wasn't able to personally see the car. After a day of thought, I paid for the car sight unseen, booked a one way flight to Florida, and some friends drove me to AutoMax of Ocala. My salesman Chris met me there ON HIS DAY OFF!! He showed the car to me with a professional degree of thoroughness which gave me the confidence that the test drive was going to be nothing more than icing on the cake. I was delighted to find the car was every bit as nice as they represented it to be. Chris showed me around while the documents were being prepared and Scott in the business office took care of everything including the plate from my home state. I drove the car about 1200 miles home without incident, and look forward to many miles in this beauty. I highly recommend my salesman, James Cohen. He was VERY well versed in both the inventory and features of all the vehicles that had my interest. I was looking for both a pick-up truck and a larger SUV. I purchased a pick-up truck and will return in the near future to purchase an SUV. He was very patient and addressed all my concerns. The selection of inventory was excellent, with exceptionally clean vehicles. All the sales staff were friendly and help-full, but you won't be disappointed if you ask for James Cohen to assist you in your hunt for a new vehicle.

I saw a vehicle online at cars.com and I called to automax when ryan answered the phone. He answered all the questions I had about the vehicle and worked me a great deal over the phone since I live 2 hours away from the dealer.
