I went to auto max for the very first time and was amazed

I went to auto max for the very first time and was amazed at how nice the staff was. They were friendly and helpful. Our salesman Dan was great. I would recommend auto max to anyone.

My son and I went back the very next day and had the same great experience. Dan the salesman helped us again and my son traded his truck in on a newer one. We both are very pleased with the service we received.

Between me and my family we have purchased over 12

Between me and my family we have purchased over 12 vehicles from this dealership. And when I went in this past month to pick up my truck I purchased as a cash deal I have never been so disrespected and treated like crap. All the sales person was worried about was her commission, no one even bothered to show me a lot of the options that were on the truck, and no one really took the time to explain anything to me. After this experience I’ve had the last time, me nor my family members were ever walked back into this dealership. I cannot believe how disrespectful I was treated. And the sales person knows who she is so I will not call her out on this one! AutoMax needs to go back to their old ways of the way they used to be a couple of years ago they put the customer first, but not anymore and it’s totally ridiculous!

You want me to respond PUBLICLY? Really? And why? There is NOTHING your dealership can do at this point! There was NO reason for me being treated so disrespectful AFTER purchasing OVER 8 to 12 vehicles from your dealership! I am no one special by any means BUT to have been treated the way your employees treated me TRULY shows me that NO ONE at Automax really cares about the actual buyer! Your employee was too worried about her commission this time and truly showed her TRUE colors this time! But I promise you this will never happen to me nor my family again!! I was a LOYAL CUSTOMER BUT YOUR SALES TEAM CAN NOT SAY THEY WERE LOYAL TO ME AS A BUYING CUSTOMER!!!

This dealer is terrible.

This dealer is terrible. They lured me in by claiming to be aggressive on pricing but then refused to negotiate price. They also do not work with Navy Federal Credit Union. Something they failed to mention before I drove 2 hours to buy the vehicle. Unfortunately they had a car I really wanted so I returned to buy the vehicle with their terrible financing. I was fortunate to be able to refinance within just a few weeks. The vehicle was great however the dealership had no idea how to properly maintain it. Once I got it home I found that it had zero wiper fluid, the tire pressure was set incorrectly, the oil change notification was still on. The brake fluid notification was still on. The dealership claimed the service was completed however the vehicles information system was never updated. Needles to say this had me concerned and I had no confidence in this dealership. I took the care to an authorized Mini maintenance provider and found out the original owner had the extended maintenance plan so the oil change and brake fluid flush I was concerned about was covered. This was the one good thing about the incompetence of Automax. Had they known about the extended maintenance I am sure they would have attempted to change for it. I have to mention my salesperson Haley was great and easy to work with however even a great sales person cannot overcome the incompetence and dishonesty of a corrupt organization like Automax Ocala. Buyers Beware and Veterans stay away!!!!

The staff is glad to hear that you are happy with the vehicle and had a great experience with your salesperson. We are disappointed that you would call an entire disorganization, "dishonest" and "corrupt" because we do not have a Dealer Agreement with Navy Federal Credit Union. We would like to request that you reconsider your review.

Hello Automax Ocala. Thank you for reviewing my review and I hope it helps you to improve your business for future buyers. I think I was pretty clear in my review. The Salesperson I dealt with was indeed great and I have no criticism of her. She unfortunately works for an organization that does not appear to value their employees or set them up for success. Sales-personnel should have the confidence to sell a vehicle knowing it’s history and confident that the company has properly prepared the vehicle for sale. Automax failed to do that, in my opinion you are lucky to have Her. If She would like a reference from me, I would be happy to provide it. When I spoke about being “lured” in with a great price I was referring to my text inquiry before traveling to Ocala. I have saved them for my records, your Representative made it clear they would negotiate. When I arrived that was not the case. I purchased the vehicle because that make and model with the features I wanted was not available anywhere else in a reasonable distance. My decision to purchase was in-spite of my misgivings concerning Automax. To be clear the car was attractive enough to overcome my experience with your dealership. Overall I do believe the price was fair but was not negotiated to a great price as I was led to believe before taking a day off and driving 2 hours. As far as the maintenance goes, I can provide photos and documentation from the dealership that corrected the problems. The cars computer was registering service required for a brake fluid flush, an oil change and tire pressure. The computer was actually set to the incorrect tire pressure creating what could have been a dangerous situation. The washer fluid was empty, not low but dry. These are things that should have been corrected at a business that focuses on the sale of vehicles. To be fair the car was indeed serviced by a separate dealership before being sold however I have no way of proving what was actually done. I had no choice but to act on the notifications the car I just purchased was showing me. The financing is a huge concern for me. I attempted to use Navy Federal Credit Union. A Credit Union that is well known for protecting Veterans and Service Members from predatory practices. It was explained to me that Automax does not work with Navy Federal which leads me to wonder why Automax excludes a veteran organization. I will not speculate about this however there are many articles people can google that explain why companies may not work with a protective organization like Navy Federal Credit Union. This is not a malicious review. It is a fair and honest assessment of my experience, perceptions and opinions in relation to my vehicle purchase.

We recently bought a car and it had problems.

We recently bought a car and it had problems. No help at all from Automax and Nissan. Lied about warranty and problems to be fixed. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Car is fixed at my own expense even though under warranty. Please beware car buyers. Problem was small, could have been honest and saved this review.
