Easy to work with, Integrity, Excellent Value

My experience w/ Sullivan was nothing short of textbook. I purchased a Volvo XC90 in mint condition. Paperwork was a breeze, Scott and Amy were positive and honest people, and the vehicle was very much as promised - considering I was doing my purchase from seven states away! I have ZERO complaints about the people, purhcasing process, or the vehicle. I've never written a review for a dealership before, but this was an important purchase for me, so I made this exception. Very straightforward, excellent experience

I saw a Mazda RX-8 for sale at Sullivan for an excellent price and drove from Sterling, VA to see it. I was a little skeptical because any other RX8 with similar miles/year was a couple thousand more. I met with Scott and I could tell he was not a typical "used car salesman" guy. Very matter of fact, and very honest about any car deficiencies, history, etc. It was in gorgeous shape. I bought the car for their asking price, and Scott even allowed me to take it to the dealer for a full check (engine compression, etc.) and held the funds until that was complete. It passed with flying colors. I couldn't be happier. Thanks again to Scott and his wife Amy (who also works there). - David

Excellent experience.

Sullivan Auto was great. After seeing 8 other dealers in my local area, it was obvious in about 5 minutes this was the place to get a good deal and dependable vehicle. They are a high volume seller. High volume equals low pricing in my book and their price on the 2006 Honda Pilot EXL was unbeatable. It had some minor cosmetic things which I brought up and they fixed free of charge. They are customer oriented and go the extra mile. I would definitely shop here again for my next car. They are also family run and take good care with all the details of the sale paperwork.

Glad to have a great customer

Not a stellar experience

Hmm. Original paperwork was never filed. So a month after I "bought" the car, I received a letter from the lender indicating the offer was rejected. No call from the dealer to tell me this. I go in and redo the paperwork. A month later I still have not received the DMV registration. After talking with the DMV, they not only still have my old car still registered to me, but they issued new plates at the dealer's request. This is when I find out that the "transferred" plates I was using were invalid for this car and that driving the car with those plates was illegal. Thankfully I was never pulled over in the 2 months of having the car. Again, the dealer never called me to tell me that he had received new plates and a registration for a car that wasn't on his lot. It took me calling him after my DMV call to find that out. Use caution with this dealer. The prices are fair, but be sure to be very thorough with the car prior to purchase. Communication is very poor at all points before and after purchase.

Casey Stafford, We absolutely made a mistake on the funding of the bank contract. Which allowed you to drive the car for 1 Month at no charge. We stayed on contact with you through out the entire process. We got you new tags instead of transferring as we did not have your old registration. we gave you a fair car deal and a great car.
