Sad Change
I had been a customer since 2008 and since 2018 the quality of service has changed for the worse. It is a shame too, I had such good service in 2008.

Lied and wasted time
I was looking to trade-in my ‘22 Silverado Dually. I filled out an online appraisal, which listed the truck’s value at $57,000. The KBB private-party value is listed at $65,000-$70,000 for this vehicle, so I was not interested. Brett called me later and asked if I could come in for an appraisal. I explained to him that the online appraisal was way too low and that I’m not interested if their appraisal will be close to that. He said that is just an online service that they use and that value is not completely accurate. He asked what I am looking to sell if for, and I told him my number. He said that he is very interested in my truck and wants to get his appraiser’s hands on it, so I agreed to come in later in the afternoon. I show up to the dealership and a salesman meets me outside. I give him my name and phone number and he tells me to wait and he will talk to Brett. He comes back out about one minute later and tells me that they said to just offer me $52,000 - $53,000. I told him that’s not even close to the online appraisal I was given and no one even looked at my truck. The salesman just stood there, and didn’t know what to say. So, I just wasted a one-hour round trip and walked out. I have no idea what the buying experience is like, so buy at your own risk.

Auto advantage takes care of their needs!
Recently I bought a car from auto advantage . It had hail damage they tried to say they had no idea. really. Before I even got home it was running bad the car was so dirty I did not see the hail damage until after I had bought it and I got home. It was so dirty you could not even see any blemish on the car. I know I did a bad job of checking the car out. Didn’t realize what a Bad company I was dealing with. I took it back twice. I paid 12,700 for a Subaru 2015 Legacy. Took it back they said I could trade it in for another one they offered me $9000 for the car. Two weeks earlier I bought from them for 12,700 so you tell me if that sounds fair to you.

DO NOT BUY HERE
I recently purchased a used car from Advantage. Although it was overpriced I bought it anyway. On the first test drive I mentioned to the salesman that the TPM light was on and indicated an error. There was also a chip in the middle of the windshield. I called and talked with several people and got the IDC answer "we'll look into it" In other words your on your own. Within a week or so I noticed the front brakes were dragging. So after buying an overpriced car now I have to have the TPM monitors in each wheel replaced, a new windshield (It is also badly scrapped where wipers drug) and a new set of brakes. Thats probably at least another $1,000 I have to put into a car that was just pushed out the door even though it had problems. I will not go there again and have told as many people who would listen not to go there either. They will rip you off

Selling your own car made easy!
Selling my daughters car was made simple. Russ was quick to respond and have someone in my area within 2 days. Process was a breeze and Walter (field agent) was a pleasure to chat with and he was very thorough. While I am not in NC I would certainly use Auto Advantage if I was nearby. And I still might even though I am in Florida.

This place could care less to sell you a xxx vehicle....
This place could care less to sell you a xxx vehicle. Bought a Chevy truck 3 weeks ago have drive it 1200 miles and it’s broke down with engine issues. I call hoping they would help make it right and get the response was “Did you purchase an extended warranty?” I said “yes” and he responded “Good, call them.” After reading the other reviews on here it sounds like it’s a known issue to this company. Then I get a call about my bad review asking why I wrote it and that they helped me fix the problem by telling me that. Highly recommend NOT buying from this place.
