Service Department

A dash light had flashed off and on for a few days, but the day of my scheduled service, the light was off. David in Service told me to stop by anytime they were open, and the light was on. A couple of days later the light flashed, and I stopped by the Service Department, and after checking the source, I was informed what the issue was, but also told my warranty would not cover it. I left the dealership and an hour later David called me, and told me after further research he had discovered the part/labor would be covered, and scheduled a date/time for me to have it replaced. I was impressed that David took the time to research my warranty and ensure I received the service I was entitled too. My Thanks To David in Service.

The Car Dealership experience you remember from 30 years ago

This place seems to be just like every other car dealership. They get you to buy the car and then basically lock the door after you drive off the lot. When buying my truck from them, I worked in the deal having my car washed for free for life just like the truck as the deal was really a little above what I wanted to pay but this and a few other things really sold the truck to me. Welp, I went to get my car washed for free and the Manager basically said the salesman can wash the car if he wants but he will not be washing the car. On top of that, which is about as shady as they come, they never fixed the running boards or the rear panel that was coming off that they promised as well. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING FOR SERVICE OR TO BUY A CAR HERE. I cannot stand this type of Car dealership and they seem to be very common still in today's age.

Horrible service manager

originally service d for leaking sunroof.Sunroof seal replaced may 2019.. roof leaks worse than ever!! On 3rd trip back they have had car for 2 weeks. No loaner offered. We were told "if we take down negative review they could get me a loaner" then service manager Chris becAme very confrontational. Refusing to service vehicle and threatening $30 per day storage if I don't immediately come pick up my car. Very argumentative, and tryin to bully me! in years past, this WAS one of the best places in town.. sad to see bad employee s can ruin a reputation.. Dave Cross shame on you for employing this type of person.

Take Advantage of customers

Was very dissatisfied with my experience. Not only were the quotes given absolutely ridiculous and trying to take advantage of me because I'm young, but the way they handled business as a whole was ridiculous. After getting my oil changed they told me multiple things that was wrong with my truck. One being a rear axle seal being broken and this caused grease to get onto my shoes and drums on my rear brakes. They automatically thought that I should replace all my brakes, shoes, and drums and the rear axle seal. When I asked for a better explanation the guy had no idea what he was talking about. I knew that with brake cleaner the rear brakes would be fine but that was not suggested to me. They wanted to charge me over $700 to replace my rear shoes and drums.... then on top of that $441 for the rear axle seal, and over $600 for my front brakes...... I may be young but I am not stupid and can not be taken advantage of. I went to another dealer and got another quote for my brakes while I decided to do the rear axle seal at Dave cross. The other quote... $241for the front and they backed up my knowledge on cleaning the back brakes rather than purchasing new ones. I told the service man at Dave cross to go ask their members if they knew to just clean them... 30 minutes later I got a response that this would be possible. Saved me $700. They proceeded with the rear axle seal while I was supposed to get a shuttle to take me home. What I was told would be a 5 minute wait almost took an hour for a shuttle. Before I left I asked what the timing would be on my seal and was told 2.5 hours and then they would give me a call when it is done. 3.5 hours later I still hadn't received a call. So I decided I would call in and it still wasn't finished. what should've taken 2.5 hours turned into 4. The oil change took 2.5 hours so the majority of the day my truck was in the service department. What I was told with my oil change is I would also get a car wash. Didn't happen the last time I was there and even after a bill of $600 this time I did not receive one. You have lost my business and have given me a different point of view on how you see your customers. In the end when I went to pick up my vehicle I asked if they would rerun their numbers because I knew they were already high. They did and came back to me with a $525 total I believe to do the front and rear brakes... what before was over $1000. This shows you how bad they were trying to screw me over and I am glad I knew this was wrong and didn't break my wallet because some crooks thought because I am 19 I wouldn't know any better. Outrageous.

Undone repair

I have taken my car several times for repair. They repaired it but it didn't fix my car issues. My warranty experied after the last repair. I'm disappointed in GM and will never get another GM product.

Only $11k interest on a $13k MSRP car!! :)

One of the most rememberable decisions I've ever made!!! As a first time buyer, with NOO experience buying cars, I had no idea what a great deal looked like till I got there!! Too bad I didn't buy 2 cars!! Interest on my used vehicle (worth 13k a year later and I paid 19k for it at time of purchase) is ONLY 11thousand dollars financed!! Glad I went through Ken who informed me of all my options, and discussed exactly what I should do!! I'm 24 with no male guidance, so Ken Auch---bigggg shout out!! Thank you so much for helping me get into this used car! You rock! I'll definitely be telling my friends about y'all and the great deal I got. Dream car. Only paying $34,000 so just 9more years of payments!!! Then it's paid off! :)

Happy Customer

I bought a brand new 2015 Yukon from Dave Cross. They have always been accommodating to my needs and any issues I have had. I was just in with an AC issue and they didn’t disappoint. I was given a loaner for the day and they had it fixed that day. Miles and Jason were super and Dave always treats us as friends. We will never buy a car from anywhere else. Happy customer!! Xoxo

A Great Experience, from start to finish

We just recently purchased our 2012 Silvarado while vacationing on the west coast, which required a leap of faith right off the bat. It was the pleasant experience from the start, in working with the sales team. Ken Auch is Awesome, and true to his word. In spite of driving through a rain storm to get there and back home, our new truck was all we expected of a quality used vehicle, and was truly represented in the ad pictures posted on the internet. It was great, and we could not be any happier with a brand new truck, particularly at today's prices! God Bless and Thank you Ken Auch and everybody at Dave Cross Motors.

Poor service, warranty repair

Had Enclave in for the second replacement of the front cover seal in 2 years . Dave Cross refused to provide a loaner vehicle even though our warranty included a courtesy vehicle. I pushed to get a courtesy vehicle several times with the dealer, but was told nothing is available. Dave Cross had the vehicle for 7 days for that repair, when we go to pick up the vehicle, the AC is only blowing hot air, never had a problem with it before. Another $270 and we finally get our vehicle back after a total of 9 days.
