Action Automotive Service

I gotta tell ya that this review is different. I traveled from Wamego Kansas to Hudson New York to buy a Ford F150 from Action Automotive Service LLC. I did this because of my faith in John Rapp, the owner of Action Auto. I searched for the perfect car on the Internet and John had it. We talked on the phone and I we hit it off. I trusted him immediately. He suggested Amtrak as the least expensive way to get there and my wife Nancy, my daughter Caitlin, and I decided it would be a fun adventure and bought Amtrak tickets. Sleeper cars and all. But at the last minute the train was cancelled. Something about twelve foot snow drifts over the rails. So we booked flights and because of snow delays we didn't get to Albany until 1AM. John drove all the way up to Albany to pick us up and shepherded us through all the paper work at the courthouse to get a permit to drive it back to Kansas. Now, we're talking John having devoted most of a day taking care of a single customer. That's service! The pickup is performing very well and even better than I had hoped. Of course I would recommend him to a friend. And if you're looking for a great adventure, then do as we did, and travel to Action Auto in New York.

I purchased a nice car from this dealership and was quite impressed with the overall service and honesty of this particular dealership. I would recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a reliable used auto at a fair price.

I decided to stop by Action Auto while I was driving by and I am glad I did. I have been looking for a vehicle for a long time and couldn't seem to find the right deal. I stopped in and asked about a truck and we agreed on a very reasonable price. I told him I would think about it and get back to him. As I drove down the road after I left I realized I had to go back and take the good deal he gave me because I wouldn't find another deal like that.

Looked for a used Dodge Dakota for a first car for a teenager. Found a great truck at a great price. Good value an good vehicle. Worth the hour drive to deal with an honest dealer.

I went all over looking for a reasonable priced used car . I had my eye on this 2006 Chevy Impala . After talking to John Rapp ,he let me take the car to my garage ,. The car was as he said would be , a great car . I got a lot of car for the price. It only took a ride and a I will take it . My daughter has it and she is very familiar with this type of vehicle, since she had a 2001 Chevy Impala . She didn't want to give it up , it had 230,000 miles on it . Once she got into the Car we got from John , she forgot all about the older one. She now has a new friend thanks to John.

After looking though the Want-AD DIGEST AN AUTO FINDER. I throught I would try a local dealer to buy a pick-up. So driving by Action Automotive I so a nice truck that I would like to have. After looking at the truck I went in an talked to John about the truck. The truck needed little work that I wanted fixed, John said no problem. He fixed what I wanted fixed an then some. Other dealers would not of done this, they would of just fixed what I asked for. It was kind of nice not hearing the words ( what can I do, for you to buy this car today). I would buy another car or truck from John.

After what seemed like an endless search for a vehicle I found exactly what I was looking for on line at Action Automotive. Although it was over an hour from my home I made the drive. Dealing with John was such a great experience. He made the buying process so simple and easy. He was casual, personable and so down to earth. I couldn't of asked for anything more. I needed the vehicle by a certain date and he went above and beyond to make sure I had it. There were a few things to be done to the vehicle and John took care of everything without a hitch. I had a great experience with this dealership and wouldn't hesitate to recommend a friend or make another purchase from there. I couldn't be happier with the whole experience and my new vehicle. Great deal on a nice clean F-150, it was well advertised with a lot of pictures. I was able to determine just how clean it was from all the photos. John was very polite and easy going and gave me a good deal. All in all the experience was worth it, traveling to New York was a little bit of a drive but worth it., Thanks John

I called John with my top $ offer and he worked out a very good deal over the phone. Within hours I showed up and the car was registered, detailed, inspected, and I was out the door in 20min! The car was immaculate just as John promised it would be. I traveled about an hour for this deal and I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Worked directly with the owner, and received excellent service. I purchased a great vehicle at a great price, and the experience was worth the trip from Maryland.
