While the selection and test-drive process was more or

While the selection and test-drive process was more or less painless, the product sold was misrepresented at best and outright fraud at worst. The car will require a lot of bodywork to repair a thorough amount of rust and several parts will need to be replaced including a new gas tank. The car in question is a 2006 Subaru Baja Turbo. I was told when purchasing this car that the car "was clean and rust free". This is the part that I consider fraudulent as there is extensive subframe rust and a rusted out gas tank that visibly leaks when you try to fill it. This was not noticed in the test drive as the gas tank was about a quarter full and when you look at the car itself, there's no visual rust. That's because it's all internal to the car. The portions of the frame where you put your jack to lift the car when there's a flat tire have collapsed due to rust. How this car passed the VA safety inspection, I'm still trying to figure out. The AC also doesn't work, and the Turbo is non-responsive in a Turbo branded car. If I hadn't already signed a sales contract, I'd be returning this car right now. Now for the weird part. The financing is done at a "partner" dealership across the street called CarNova. Again, this part was fairly painless. Apply, choose from financing offer, drive off with car. However, it's a bit on the hinky side to have one dealership sell the car, then have another do the financing. Yes, I've contacted the dealership. The GM and Finance Manager refused to work with me.

Sent an inquiry about a car’s availability.

Sent an inquiry about a car’s availability. Got a response that it was available. Also got a call that it was available. I called back immediately to discuss said car. The employee told me it was sold last night but he had similar vehicles. Basically, I felt like he was just trying to get me to discuss different vehicles as opposed to the one i wanted. I feel like that is a dishonest way of doing business. Just be upfront and say, “no we no longer have that vehicle, but here are some other options.” By telling me it was available in a voicemail you lost my trust. This is why car dealerships get a bad reputation.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM

I visited this dealer on Dec 9th, 2021, to test drive and hopefully purchase a 2009 Cadilac Escalade. I test drove the vehicle and noticed first no INSPECTION sticker, and the right headlight was out, there were two warning lights on the dashboard. Service suspension and service tire monitor. I asked for these issues to be fixed. They assured me it would be. These issues caused me to get my vehicle delivered to me on December 29, 2021. They gave me a $200 check because I had to get a rental due to the truck not being ready on time. After the truck was delivered, I started it up and none of the issues were resolved but the INSPECTION was done which by the way no receipt wasn't placed in my glove compartment for proof and the headlight is still out. So now the inspection to me is suspect. I called them they had no problem with me bringing it in to fix it. January 9, 2022, I took time off from work to take it back. They (the owner) claimed that they fixed the headlight and the warning light their guy could not get to go off but assured me that it's a whole new suspension system and the tires were fine as well. They are not sure why the lights are on. Trusting that everything is safe to drive so I left. February 9, 2022, I decided to take the truck to a repair shop because for about a week every other key turn it had a delay start. They found that not only do I need a fuel pump, but I also need a passenger headlight, on the dashboard there are two sensors that are malfunctioning, the physical components to the suspension seen fine but there is UNPROFESSIONAL wiring done to several components and is causing a warning light. For the shocks and struts most of the wiring seen is done to the top of struts, in an effort to keep a sensor for the air suspension working, which is not. I called the dealer and asked for the manager who basically said it's a ME issue, not them. He suggested for me to file a claim with the warranty people. Never took ownership never apologized. I told him how unhappy I was with this whole deal he said I surpassed the 5-day return policy. I am in total shock of how I was treated. Whenever I called, each phone call, I was never nasty, and I never raised my voice. I just want to enjoy this commitment for at least a year before coming out of my pocket for expenses that should have been taken care of. I know I brought a used vehicle, but I guess I didn't know I was buying it from a SHADDY dealer. Buyers beware

Make Sure Your Car Passes Emissions 😲

Don't waste your time. I would caution anyone considering this dealership. Even though they initially agreed to run the car through emissions, after stringing us along, they declined even after we agreed to have it vetted at the local dealership and had an appointment. We were trying to do all of this from Northern VA. They were of no help at all. For those whose cars are required to go through emissions, make sure you have them do it and email you the results before you make a deal. Bummer of an experience; my son's first experience buying a car.👎

Trusted dealership

Found this dealership via Truecar.com. So because Truecar.com is a reputable car buying platform I decided to check out a vehicle from Carnova. I was contacted by Cristina and that's who I was working with from start to finish. She's professional, fun, and makes you feel very comfortable about your purchase. The car that I purchased was clean and very mechanically sound. They sanitized the vehicle before my test drive as well. When I decided to make my purchase, Cristina had my vehicle detailed AND she had my vehicle delivered to my house on the same day! Cant beat that! Trust the reviews you see about this dealership, they're the real deal. Be sure to ask for Cristina when you visit she'll really take good care of you!
