BUYERS BEWARE: We purchased a used Mazda from this...

BUYERS BEWARE: We purchased a used Mazda from this dealership on 9/20. I wish we would have done a little more research before stepping foot in this place. The purchase of the vehicle came with a 5 day money back guarantee. On day 3 we started noticing the car making a weird noise when we would switch gears and press on the break. We immediately called the dealership to report these issues and were told we would get a call back. On day 4 we had not heard from anyone so we decided to just drive to the dealership and speak to someone in person. Since we didn't have an appointment, we were told that they would squeeze us in to take a look. At that time we mentioned the money back guarantee and we were thinking about returning the vehicle. Day 5: No calls or Updates, when we called ourselves to inquire they said they didn't have record of the vehicle, put me on hold for 20 mins just to come back and say they do have the car but that everyone from the service department had left for the day and they couldn't give us any information. When I persisted that we need more info I was hung up on. I called back and spoke to a gentleman and he stated he would be transferring me to a manager, guess where he transferred me to? A dealership in Las Vegas! I was extremely upset at that point. I immediately called back and spoke to someone again and they assured me that they would be calling us first thing in the morning with an update. Day 6: We get a call with them asking us to come in to the dealership, when we arrived the service agent told us he was new, and that he decided not to run a diagnostic because it would "cost you too much" and said he instead just replaced the battery. The sound on the car got progressively worse day after day, until we couldn't even switch the gears anymore. We got the car towed to a licensed mechanic who after being in the car for less than 2 minutes knew that there was a transmission issue. After running a diagnostic he came back and said that the entire transmission needed to be replaced. We were quoted $4000 for these repairs. That's half the cost of the whole car! He also found that some transmission repairs were done that was not reported to us at the time of purchase. We called the dealership today to let them know this and they stated they can't do anything because the car is a Mazda and they don't repair Mazdas. California has VERY strict consumer rights laws regarding the sell of used vehicles. We have already filed a complaint with BBB and are now gathering all of our documentation and phone call records in preparation for legal action. Please take my advice and take your business elsewhere!

Extremely friendly & helpful. My husband & I worked with...

Extremely friendly & helpful. My husband & I worked with Luis to find the right Mini for us. He was so helpful & if he wasn’t sure he sought out the information for us to ensure we had the information we needed to make our final decision. Dusan was also extremely friendly & helpful. I can’t recommend Mini of Steven’s Creek more. We did not feel rushed or forced to make a purchase. This was my first experience working with a dealership & it was nothing like stories I’ve heard from friends & family.

The process of buying my new Mini was good. However, my several requests (left a message, sent an email) for a follow up "Second Date" to go over the technology have been ignored. Also, there is no manual on how to use the Navigation system. Why is this separate manual not included? All in all, not happy with after sales support.

I live halfway across the country but found a used car...

I live halfway across the country but found a used car for a great price on Autotrader at this dealer. I would not recommend buying remotely from this dealer. Pros: I got the car, and it was in good shape. The price was great, and the cost to ship it to me was what I expected from getting quotes online. Cons: It's over a month later and I still haven't received the title (which in my state means they can fine me for not registering it in time). They do not seem to understand the process themselves of who has the title and where it will eventually be sent. The staff were at times reasonable and at times quite rude, to the point where I had to lose my temper and tell them not to laugh at me and not to call me "buddy". I have had to call and email for two separate issues and the delay has been a week or more for someone to finally get back to me with the information I need to move the deal forward, even though it was just a 10-minute conversation that was needed. There is no way to escalate a problem you are having with the transaction because there is no general manager listed on the website and when you call and ask to talk to them, you just are sent to the same sales director or finance director who is the problem in the first place. I even called Autonation in Florida and asked them to help, but they said they would call back in a week and never did.

Had the worst experience in this dealer. I bought a 2007...

Had the worst experience in this dealer. I bought a 2007 Chevy Silverado that had the transmission slipped, so I returned the truck back with the 5 days and 250 miles. I was told that after signing the release of liability that I will get my down payment back within the next 14 days. 14 days had past and I still haven’t gotten back my refund. People are no longer friendly because they made 0 sale on me. I will not recommend at will never buy from them anymore. This is the 2nd autonation that I had bad experience with.
