Never buy used vehicles from them
Purchased a nice used vehicle from them in October After not receiving dmv reg went to DMV found out it was still registration was still in the owner who traded it in.. dealership finally got the Correct registration to me after 4 1/2 months. Would call them weekly during this problem, they would always say we have you contact info but no response. If you have concerns contact = customer.relations@autonation.com. They helped immensely.

Maintenance warrenty expired 5 weeks ago
I just paid $300 for maintenance which expired five weeks ago. It would have been free if I had come in before that. I said why wasn?t I notified before it expired? Hector says ?no we don?t do that because we don?t know how you drive...meaning you could have driven over 38000.? I said ?you know the date of purchase?. He said ?no, we don?t have access to that? It is 3 years after is when it is expired, yes they do have it. Sure, I should have remembered but why couldn?t they send reminders? I only went in as I got a call to come in for ?free welcome back? inspection last week, I went in and was told ?oh, your maintenance is overdue.? Hector was unsympathetic to my situation. Instead I was told I should now get a extend warrantay package for $1900, he was now talking like a sales person. I came home feeling completely crushed. This is my second MINI. Big MINI fan loved everyone at Stevens Creek even wrote 5 star review on yelp. Every time I had to come for a maintenance, I had to drive from Monterey, but I never minded it as everyone was friendly and I never had a bad experience. Well, no more. I won?t be going back there for maintenance. Really. How about a quick reminder before maintenance warranty expires? This would save many people from unnecessary unpleasant experience I went through.

Would not recommend or return
The test drive and start of the paperwork went great. When it came time to sign the contract and drive home the problems began. The sales manager told us that even though we brought our own financing, we are required to apply for in house financing. After failing to fully explain why this was the case my wife and I made it clear that we were not applying for additional financing. At this point every interaction became hostile. Next the paperwork that needed to be submitted to my bank was delayed. When I asked why it was not sent the reply was "well we were super busy". Next they claim that the paperwork was sent but per my bank they have not. Lord knows when I will get my vehicle. Now I have attempted to speak to different departments for a status update. Phones are unanswered, messages go unanswered and emails go unreplied. Best of luck to any poor soul who chooses to do business with autonation or Mini of Stevens Creek.

Would never go back or recommend

Customer focussed
I've been a long time customer of Mini Stevens Creek (formerly Mini of Mountain View). Over the past 12+ years I've purchased 2 Mini's from them and have had 6 Mini's serviced with them. The service department is what's most important to me as this is where you will visit more often for service. Service/repairs have always been done perfectly and when there has been an issue they've promptly remedied the issue. On a few occasions service has gone above and beyond to meet my needs. A special shout-out to the parts team who have also been helpful!
