In my opinion Auto Max Atlanta is the most dishonest used

In my opinion Auto Max Atlanta is the most dishonest used car dealer in the United States. They lie, cheat steal, falsify tax records, and sell cars that you would be a fool to buy. They failed to file for my tag and registration in a timely manner and then lied to me twice about how to take care of it myself. They were fined 3 times by the State of Georgia for failing to submit my paperwork on time then passed the fines on to me. The car I purchased has needed thousands in repairs in the two months since I’ve owned it. In my opinion the Car Fax report provided to me was completely falsified. I just spent over a thousand dollars to repair a fuel rail system which could have resulted in a car fire. While my mechanic was replacing this terrible gas leak he found the engine oil was also leaking and would require another thousand to fix. Two days later the car is running horrible and my mechanic finds gasoline mixed in with my engine oil due to a broken fuel injection system. While fixing this problem he finds another issue he said will take over a thousand dollars to repair. I was told this car was in excellent running condition and needed nothing in terms of repair work. My salesman, Allen, is an absolute liar. He lied about the condition of the car, he lied about the price of the car, he lied about having sent in the paperwork for the tag and registration, he lied about the state tax on the car, he lied about the process for obtaining my tag. He is an habitual liar. He even told me he was going to fill up my gas tank about I purchased the car. He took the car and came back 15 minutes later and had not put a drop of gas in it. I think he just took my car so he could run out and eat dinner. Allen also charged me a thousand dollars to complete a ceramic finish on the car. When we called to make an appointment to have the work complete he said he wasn’t going to do it. That’s theft and fraud. The manager won’t return my phone call and is complicit in the theft. So, in summary: - The car I have is overpriced garbage in constant need of costly repairs. - The company is willfully violating Georgia State Tax laws. - My salesman is a habitual liar. - The manager could care less about your complaints. - Customer service is a joke. - The dealership sells additional services which they refuse to complete. - I COULD NOT BE MORE DISSATISFIED. Buyer Beware!!!!! This place is a scam (in my opinion) and needs to be closed by the state for deceptive practices and theft. The fact that they even have a business license is beyond my comprehension!

Purchased a vehicle from this company and within 24 hours

Purchased a vehicle from this company and within 24 hours it was in a garage requiring major transmission work. After going back and forth with them for 9 weeks they eventually cut me a check for $300 towards a $4400 repair bill. I would not go back to this company if it was the last car dealer on Earth and I strongly recommend that you think twice before doing business here.

Falsely advertised condition of vehicle and I had costly

Falsely advertised condition of vehicle and I had costly repairs after delivery. I chalk this up as my loss for purchasing the vehicle only through video call which was not sufficient for me to identify issues that cost me a little over $2,200 a week later after receiving it. My next issue was the lack of communication after calling, texting, and emailing everyone from sales to my sales representative to the title office only to finally get in contact with someone after calling every hour on the hour about the expired dealer tag. I will tell anyone purchasing from here, they have a large election of cars so I will chalk this up as maybe this old vehicle just got lost in the bunch and wasn't thoroughly inspected. However, the lack of communication for something as simple as vehicle title and registration was gross. They will not get the grace from me on that as it almost feels like I was intentionally dodged, possibly with them thinking I was calling to return a vehicle or be a nuisance. That was not the case and I hope they deal with the repercussions of a lost customer and bad review.

Avoid this dealership at all costs.

Avoid this dealership at all costs. They are committing fraud and personally I don’t see how they’re still in business. They falsify documents and cut corners for repairing their cars. They should be in jail for what they’re doing. Lying to customers is not ok, but you shall reap what you sow.

FALSE VERIFIED LEGALLY.... 2022 VEHICLE PURCHASED

In August 2023, I personally purchased a 2022 Lexus and was verified verbally and at signing, that the tires had a new Michelin tires on them which would go 40,000 miles. This is not true. 1,000 mi later after purchasing this car at 7,000 miles I was told the tread on three tires must be replaced immediately costing me $2,000 of which omar, has said dealership can do nothing and will do nothing. I must take this up legally unfortunately and I will.

Misrepresentation (Promised Car passed Emissions)

Here are the facts of the fraud or misrepresentation of the vehicle I purchased from AutoMax Atlanta. • April 17th purchased a Red 2003 Toyota Tundra transferred the money to Chad, only after the Dhruv Patel told me this vehicle passed emissions (in front of Chad). • Dhruv Patel (salesman) promised me that AutoMax Atlanta could not and would not sell me a car that didn’t pass emissions. • I sat in Chad’s (Business Managers) office at least an hour or more while the technician and salesman worked on the emissions test. • The salesman Dhruv Patel came into Chad’s office and said good new “the emissions passed” and we are ready to finalize the deal. • I wrote Chad the check and sent him a screenshot picture of my bank account so he knew I had the money in my account. • Chad told me that we would get the title and the new Georgia License plate in 4-6 weeks sent to my home address for the 2003 Red Tundra. There was nothing to do on my end. • 6 weeks passed and I followed up with the Atlanta Auto Max office on my tags. Where are my tags I was promised? I talked to Shelby Parker of Atlanta Auto Max, she said she would research the issue. • June 1 – talked with Chad via my cell phone, he advised me “so sorry” there was a glitch in the emissions machine that day on April 17th • Chad told me to just go get the emissions and Atlanta Auto Max would reimburse the cost of the new emissions test, since it was part of the sale. • 6/2 I go to Eagle Oil Change for emissions test. Red 2003 Toyota Tundra - failed and 23 codes that it failed. • I go to my local mechanic 6/2 Weaver Tire and Brake. They fixed the main issues – We drive it for a few days to clear the system & codes “Readiness” • I get it re-tested 6/9 and says it still has many codes including oxygen sensors. Also, my mechanic also said check engine light did not have a bulb, like someone took it out on purpose. • 6/15 I take it by the Emission and says they can’t check it again because – now the check engine light is ON. • I go to my local mechanic again Weaver Tire and Brake and they said to bring it in Monday 6/19 because they are slammed. So far, this whole car buying experience & process is not right. I bought this used truck based on the fact that it passed the emissions test. Chad knows I wasn’t leaving Chad’s office until it passed the emissions. I was told by Atlanta Auto Max sales rep Dhruv Patel & tech as I sit with Chad the business manager that this pickup had passed emissions. This was a key decision in the car purchase and transferring the money for the cash purchase. I was told that my tags would come to my home address in 4-6 weeks and I didn’t have to do anything. Somehow this sales situation goes from emissions passed all is good and you’ll have your plates at your home address in 4-6 weeks, to go get the emissions and we will reimburse you (due to a emissions computer glitch), to paying $4,322 for repairs for the Tundra to pass emissions. $2,053 prior repairs 6/2 & 6/12 to correct emission codes – then it still would not pass emissions $2,269 repairs 6/19 to correct emission codes for catalytic converter. $4,322 total repairs for a $6,500 used pickup (which I was told had already passed emissions) Buyer Beware

Worst Experience. Find another dealership to us

Purchased i8 roadster. Auto MAx selected the car carrier and i paid auto max direct. $5000 of damage to the car and auto max did nothing to help. I had to tract down the insurance company on my own and am still waiting for the claim to process. Head up to all, the car carrier has a $2500 deductible which the drive has to pay, so I will be chasing that next. Can you believe they put a vinal advertising for their dealer ship on the bumper of my car this super car? I will now have to pay a detailer to remove it as it dones not peel off. Finally they still have not got me the License plates I paid them for!!! The temp is now 19 days past due. I was told that I can go to Motor Vehicle and get another temp while I wait on them to do their job. So be clear this is the type of service I never want again.

Chad the manager at Automax Atlanta in Lilburn GA has NO

Chad the manager at Automax Atlanta in Lilburn GA has NO integrity , no morals, no certified mechanic on site and zero customer service skills. He sold my college aged Son a used car with limited warranty but said they would fix the catalytic converter after check engine light came on the day we drove off the lot. They "fixed" it alright, after the check engine light continued to stay on, took to an offsite certified mechanic who stated it would cost 3500$ bucks to fix it right after Automax 'mechanic' butchered the engine. put in a faulty used catalytic converter, now it shows melted wires, a destroyed heat shield, damaged AC and many other destroyed engine components. I am so mad and upset and cannot believe how they took advantage of my Son and stole his hard earned money. I don't know how Chad the 'manager' sleeps at night!! Thieves, butchers and inhumane individuals !! BUYER BEWARE STAY AWAY !!!
