Buyer Beware! Don't go here!

Buyers beware. I hope this review will save someone from the nightmare that I am currently going through. I was sold a vehicle a couple of weeks ago and I will say dj was a outstanding guy, but that is the only good thing I have to say. The service engine light came on not long after I bought the car which I took to the mechanic. I then found out an oiled air filter was put into the vehicle, which is not compatible and the vehicle that I just paid $30,000 for is now messed up because of it and the warranty will not cover it because it was due to negligence on someone elses behalf. They will NOT give me a report to what all was done to the car after it got into their possession, which is very sketchy. The only answer I get is it is in the internal system and even the gm will not give me the automax report. YES I know it was an as is car but I'm pretty sure the tires they kept on it when they sold it to me was illegal. I found out they were bad because I had one blow out, which could have killed me and it made me late to my job. I also found out all the other tires were bad and need to be replaced as well as the brakes, and I had made a mistake by trusting them with their "safety inspection". When I talked to them about the tires they came up with some excuse that they knew the tires were bald but they used the money that was for the tires to get the decals removed which they would have had to remove anyway because they were half torn off. ( I will attach photos. 1st photo is what they used for the ad and second is when I first saw the car before it was detailed). I finally got my dream car and it's been nothing but a heartache, disappointment, and huge financial burden, and it will forever teach me to not trust a businesses word. I am going to have to put about $3,000 in repairs into this car and I've not even had it for 30 days and they won't give me any of their own records of what was done to the car, just the carfax, or help me in any way and the general manager was very rude. Please do not go with this sketchy dealer. They only care about your money and they don't care about anything else, even your life. I'm in the hole financially now and it's too late for me, but if this review helps at least one person steer clear of this place then that is a blessing enough to me to know I helped someone not go down this same path and xxxx that I am going through. I'd give 0 stars if I could.

Buyer Beware!

Bought a Porsche Cayenne from this dealership in February. Car was delivered fine but the dealership screwed up the licensing info which made it impossible for us to get a license plate for the car. Wife has now been pulled over twice as a result. More than a dozen calls to this dealership have gone unanswered and calls are never returned.

The car salesman that we dealt with was very nice, but the dealership sold the car after I had already put down a deposit to get the car inspected the next day

If I could give them zero, that is my rating.

If I could give them zero, that is my rating. I bought a 2013 Audi S5, sight unseen for remote delivery. They sold me a warranty for $1000 that they didn't pay the premium on. In addition, my had salesman gave me an inspection report prior the sale that said all four Continental tires had better than 7/32 tread depth. New is 9/32 and the wear bars are at 2/32. What they delivered was a car with all tires at the wear bars. So, after fiving them 2 weeks grace to pay for the policy I paid for, and two failed attempts by my mechanic to submit a claim to repair bad control arms and some transmission work, the claims were still denied because of dealer non-payment. My sales rep and his sales manager repeatedly claimed the policy premium was paid but the insurance company said otherwise (and said dealers pay on-line via a web page so "payment lost in the mail" won't cut it). It appears they take premiums but not pay policies in the hope they can pocket them if there are no claims. I got rather indignant with the Sales Manager about the bald tires and unpaid premium when I finally got him on the phone; all of this is after dozens of calls not returned and promises that were never fulfilled by the sales manager. The sales manager finally agreed to pay for the warranty, but refused to compensate for the tires. When I asked how he could take that position when I have irrefutable evidence that they misrepresented the condition of the tires, he said "Because I don't like your tone." He even had the nerve to say I got a great deal on the car, when I paid the full asking price. It is one of the most expensive cars of this year and model on the net! All their positive reviews are the car deals that didn't go sideways. I found many unhappy buyers on cars.com and Yelp, and 38 BBB complaints, none of which looked like they satisfied their customers.

Dealer response

over 23k cars sold (refer to your stock #) and only 38 complains. I would love to help you but respect needs to be there.

Consumer response

If you want respect, you need to give it. To tell me in writing the tires are 90% and then to deliver a car with bald tires is not respect. It is a lie. If you sell a person an insurance policy and it is not paid for two weeks later and after several calls, that is not respect. That is fraud. If you return calls immediately during the sales process and after the sale, you fail to return every single call (over 20) that is not respect. That is poor customer service. If a manager sees that his dealership puts a customer through this kind of treatment and then when the customer finally has him on the line, that customer is a little miffed, the manager should give grace. The appropriate response should not be, I will have your warranty policy paid for today (which you did do) but when asked about the tires, take a position that you will do nothing. Then when asked why, to respond "Because I don't like your tone." Maybe if you and your team had taken care of me promptly (as in not dragged out over weeks) you would not have gotten a "tone" from me. As things stand, small claims court is next week. When I win, I will have the judgement domesticated in Gwinett County and then have the sheriff pay you a visit to collect my money. If that fails to work, I will hire a lawyer and those costs will be added to my claim. I won't stop until I get satisfaction. Here is my one and only olive branch. If you pay the $1100 + $170 it cost me to replace the tires and file the small claim, I will stop all proceedings and my next response to this review is that you finally did the right thing and made good on providing the good rubber you represented when you sold the car. You know how to reach me.

Horrible dealer! Beware!

Beware of this dealer! I purchased a car on Tuesday, March 15 2022. It started choking down 1-2 days later. It sat all weekend and I took it to the shop on Monday March 21. It passed the pressure test I had done but continued to choke down. I took it back to the shop on Thursday March 24 where they said I had an almost blown head gasket, and it needed an expensive head gasket repair. They explained that it passed the pressure test because it wasn’t quite blown yet, but that a head gasket blow was imminent. They also said they found fluid on the Piston. I took it to another shop that confirmed that it needed a $4k HG repair. Both mechanics confirmed that this issue had been going on for a long time. I had it towed to Automax’s mechanic, and within 2 hours he said it needed a new engine. Automax only offered $1k toward the $3k engine replacement. They told me that “it is a machine sir” and “I’m not interested in a back and forth”. So, I drove a car less than 500 miles (almost 100 of that was to get home) and I have to pay $2k to repair a car I have barely driven. I haven’t even received the tag yet! This dealership has a very bad BBB rating, and terrible reviews on Yelp! I just wish I had read more reviews before buying. Stay away!

My salesman was on point.

My salesman was on point. I spoke to him prior to coming in so he knew how much I wanted to spend and he knew I wanted my warranty to be included. The sales manager almost made him lose his sale. This doesn’t allow me to write everything I want but I’m still waiting on my spare key. It’s been 3 weeks now.
