My First Ever Car Purchase

I approached the car-buying process, like anyone else, a little on the defense but the folks here were so non-pressuring. My sales rep put it best when he said that customers are already sold on a car before the salesman even makes a statement. And he was right. They went the extra mile to assist but never did I feel like I was being "sold" anything. He was merely my navigator for the sales process. Although the vehicle was already competitively priced, I was still able to negotiate. I received a quality vehicle for a fair price. The vehicle was clean and rode smoothly. Their philosophy and the way they treat their customers before and after the sale is unbelievable. I have had my car now for two weeks and continue my relationship with the staff at this facility. They were extremely fair and I will continue to give them my business for any future purchases. They made my first experience enjoyable and pleasant and I cannot say enough about the warmth and patience that was shown to me. Wonderful dealership - fantastic people!!!

We bought a 2014 Mazda CX5 from Germain Mazda. We had...

We bought a 2014 Mazda CX5 from Germain Mazda. We had looked at a CX5 on 3 separate occasions at another local dealer. They were always nice but never seemed too eager to find out about us or sell us a car. It was very different at Germain from the moment we walked in the door. We didn't have an appointment and were greeted immediately and offered a beverage. We were then introduced to the manager, Tim. Tim asked us what we were looking for. I knew what I wanted and told them. They then asked about colors and options. We told them Red and White. They immediately had someone search the inventory and they had both, but they didn't walk us out to the lot to look at them, they had them both brought around to the service garage so that we could look at them in a nice shaded area rather than in the very hot parking lot. We were then introduced to Terry, our sales consultant. He took the time to go over all of the cars options with my wife and then took us on a test drive. We were very interested in one and began talking numbers, but were short on time. Instead of pushing us and pressuring us to make a deal before our appointment, they offered to let us take it home for the night, see if we liked it, and then work out the deal in the morning. When we returned, we were again welcomed. After our negotiation, Terry took the time to walk us around the showroom and the service area and introduce us to the service manger since we would be working with them in the future, due to our free service from Germain. We finalized things with Sonny, who was fantastic, and very meticulous in doing his job, catching any errors. He pulled together all of our financial paperwork and was excellent to work with. The best thing about Germain was that we never felt pressured and everyone was so friendly and down to earth we really felt like we were being taken care of, not taken advantage of. Certainly, they wanted to sell a car, but it felt like everyone was genuine, and that was refreshing from a car dealer. We would definitely recommend Germain Mazda

I had purchased a used 2004 Mazda 6 for my daughter. ...

I had purchased a used 2004 Mazda 6 for my daughter. When I inquired on the internet they had told me Damon would be assisting me. When I arrived Damon was busy helping someone else so they sent out Rusty Wilson. Rusty was very informative of the car and very pleasant to work with. I was there for 4 hours so Rusty and I had a lot to talk about! He not only knew about cars but also helped me with who had the best internet security for my computer. After my daughter drove the car for a couple of days the check engine light came on. I took it to Autozone and they hooked it up to their computer and said it was the Catalytic Converter. I called up Rusty and he said bring it in. I dropped the car off and decided to give Paul Germain a call as well to let him know what was going on. He was very nice and said we will have our mechanic Kyle take a look at it and get back with you. Paul called me back and said yes that is what it was and they would pay for it. I said my daughter will be disappointed that she won't have her car to drive to school. He said I will give you a rental car free of charge. I couldn't believe it. Normally you do not get a rental car with a used car. Kyle was also great and kept me informed of where in the process they were with the parts for the car. The car was repaired and I am happy to say I would definately buy another car from Germain Mazda for their great customer service for everyone that was involved with the whole process of my car. Rusty called me after I picked up the car to check on me and say that we treat everyone like family here. Thank you!

Credit Challenged and Expectations EXCEEDED!!

I went to Germain Mazda because of the location on Morse road. I have driven by before and the used car selection always looked great. As soon as I spoke to the salesperson, Rusty, did make me feel completely comfortable and made no promises other than he would explore every option. I understood my credit made options limited. But because of Germain Mazda's great prices the bank offered great terms on a great used car. I traded in my pride and joy (2000 Infiniti QX4) but the 2010 Chrysler Sebring LIMITED is everything advertised and more. Germain did a great job getting the purchase ready- new brakes and rotors, new tires and oil change, all before I walked on the lot. That makes me believe that they make sure every car they sell is buyer ready-to-drive. While the entire staff was superb, Rusty made my experience the best car buying experience I have ever had. I would buy another car from Rusty and the good people at Germain Mazda any day!! Thanks Rusty!!

My visit to Germain Mazda was a very pleasant experience. Terry helped me pick out the perfect SUV, while Tim and Sonny worked on the finance part. All three stayed late on a Friday night to make sure everything was in place for me to drive my new SUV home. I really appreciated them going the extra mile to make my experience a good one.

The "why" in this review is relative to Damon...

The "why" in this review is relative to Damon Shorterage. He exemplifies the true meaning of a people's person. Damon is very knowledgeable about the product(s) he sales. Within an eightteen (18) month period I purchased two (2) Mazda 6's. Damon was responsible for each of those purchases. Throughout the year of my initial purchase Damon periodically contacted me to inquire if I was still pleased & satisified with my new car. The most impressive aspect of his communications was the personal touch. They weren't generic formatted emails. Each expressed genuine concern. Whatever question(s) or concern(s) I might have presented, Damon handled the situation professionally, expeditiously, and he never once referred me to another department. Simply put; he made the purchasing experience a pleasure and ensured I remained connected with Germain Mazda not so much as a customer, but more so as a family member! It truly was and remains a pleasure doing business with Mazda as a result of Damon Shorterage.

We shopped all of the Mazda dealerships in Columbus but came back to Germain because of our initial interactions with Terry Johnson. I've never had a better experience purchasing a new car. Terry was able to answer every question and never made us feel rushed or pressured. The dealership was super busy when we were there but he kept his focus on us. Everyone we dealt with at Germain was courteous and professional. This has been a very positive experience and we will be back for our next vehicle! Thanks.

To Whom it May Concern, My husband and I went to find a car on August 5, 2013. Before we went to search for our car we mentally prepared ourselves for the typical pushy salesman that just wants to get you into a car and forget about you. However, we were happily surprised when working with Terry Johnson at your Germain Mazda dealership on Morse Rd. He was great and genuinely understood the value of customer service. I will recommend this dealership because of the service he provided and will be back if we ever need another car. We, also, enjoyed speaking with your Financial Advisor (can't remember his name). He was very straightforward and went above and beyond to make sure we understood/felt comfortable with everything we signed. All and all, it was a very pleasant experience and wasn't filled with the typical stress that car searching usually entails. This was only made possible by your staff. I, also, told Terry that we purchased my last car at the Dennis Dealership on Morse and the experience was so unpleasant that I will never go back. I had an outstanding experience buying my latest new...

I had an outstanding experience buying my latest new (used) car from Germain Mazda. I had initially called the dealership to ask questions about a specific car I found online. I had the pleasure of talking to salesman Terry Johnson. He answered my questions quickly and efficiently so I decided to make the trip in to meet with Terry and see the car. The entire buying experience was smooth and stress free. Terry was down to earth and very professional. The car I purchased was traded in just a day or two earlier and the dealership was given only one key. When I asked about the second key, they told me they would take a look and get back to me. Terry followed up quickly letting me know that they were unable to come up with a second key from the seller. Terry and Germain Mazda went the extra mile to have a second key made for me. To be honest, it was a shock! In this day and age of generally poor customer service, I expected that because the purchase was complete, I would be stuck having to purchase a second key myself. Terry Johnson and Germain Mazda will be MY dealership going forward. They made me feel like part of their family and I appreciate that very much!
