I flew here for a vehicle.
I looked at cars.com and found the ILX. I called several other dealerships all over the US to try to talk to a salesman. When I got Lewis Bass at Vandergriff, I was certain this was the vehicle I wanted. He picked me up at the airport and made the usual awful car buying experience pretty quick, painless and surprisingly pleasant. Everyone was very nice. I drove my Acura back to MO and I absolutely LOVE my car! He even called me to make sure I made it bask safe! I would definitely fly here again to purchase a vehicle!

Good overall experience
I went into Vandergriff Acura looking for a new 2021 black-on-black RDX A Spec AWD. Having visited another Acura dealership I had an idea of what I wanted. Although Vandergriff Acura didn't have the specific vehicle I wanted, Lewis Bass was able to find one with the right specifications that I wanted. Lewis was professional yet friendly and very easy to work with. I walked out of the dealership that evening without coming to an agreeable price, however Lewis did stay in contact with me and updated me shortly after with new promos and deals from Acura that helped bring the price down. In the end I didn't make a purchase at Vandergriff Acura but I had a very positive experience here and with Lewis. (I ended up purchasing a new Cadillac XT5 a week later after a test drive that got me hooked on some of the features, though the RDX would've been much more fun.)

Buyer BEWARE
I recommended my daughter purchase a vehicle from Vandergriff Toyota as I know one of the sales managers well. I have purchased several vehicles in the past. They did not have the vehicle she wanted and Vandergriff Acura would not let them have the vehicle to sale to her. If this would have happened. I am certain she would not have been misled and forced into purchasing the Truck. It did not take long to understand why they wouldn’t let them have the vehicle.!They decided to over charge her by over $4200 dollars. This is the kids second vehicle purchase. They of course suckered her into it by throwing numbers out there she did not understand and had her sign at a payment out of this world. That is not the real issue. THE salesperson and the Finance department knew the vehicle was priced at $33998 yet they acted like it was $38,275 and that included the warranty and gap insurance. What my daughter did not understand is they added it to the sales price and to the contract as well. ( in other words TWICE) !! THEY SENT THE DEAL TO 7 DIFFERENT BANKS DUE THE FACT NO ONE WOULD CARRY THE LOAN AMOUNT AFTER ADDING THE $4,200 TWICE. Ally finally after a few days agreed to finance $42K plus on a 2016 Chevy half ton. The dealership is ran by Chris Snyder and he agreed to refund $2,000 of the overage and repair the the 1 inch hole in the frame. That was a few weeks ago. He is now saying this could possibly happen at a later date after the Insured loaner car is repaired. It appears to be more games from Chris Snyder. I just want to alert potential buyers to the underhand ways of VANDERGRIFF ACURA. I am forced to get an Attorney involved to right the wrong from this dealer. I wanted to alert as many people as possible about this Vandergriff Location. This could happen to one of your children. This company is owned by Berkshire Hathaway. ( Warren Buffet) I am sure my daughter is not the first.

Acura
Went in to buy a car I saw online for 41k. Turns out after all the upgrades I didn't want it was 48k. Very pricey. I was able to get it down but not to what I wanted cause I suck at negotiating. Lewis was great though. Super nice and very helpful. Ask for him when you go in.

Bought a Certified Pre-owned MDX
My sales guy was Lewis Bass. He was very kind and courteous. He was the best part about my buying experience. I was not so happy with the detailing of the car, however. There were many places that could have been cleaned better. I realize I bought a used car but they could have done much more, especially on the interior. I also didn't like the tactics of the sales manager from NJ when trying to pressure me to buy the car. I left that day saying I would never deal with him again and did not buy that day. GM refused to give me touch-up paint even though they didn't touch up the car very well. Pretty tacky!

Accommodating and Aims to Please
I feel sorry for anyone that has to deal with me as a customer, but Lewis Bass handled it in strides. Whether it was in person, by phone, or email he made sure all my questions, comments, and concerns were addressed. The hook was the lack of sales pressure from my initial visit, that let me go over several different trim levels/options of the same model along with multiple test drives.

We can help not true
Logan Wilson, called me on 1/23/21, said they were reaching out to customer's that were paying a high interest rate. I told him my credit score was 580 and I stay an hour away from the dealership. Fill out the application and I will get with my credit team. He called me back the day after and said, you are all set , my business team have worked everything out and you do not need a co signer. I called back 1/29/21 to confirm what we spoke about and mainly if I need a co-signer, Logan Wilson said, no that's why we got all the information up front. Went to the dearlship on 1/30/21, Logan Wilson was no where to be found. One of his co workers called him, he was telling him to go ahead and help her. he said no she wants to wait for you because she is just being loyal, if you say I can help then she will. I told him what Logan and I spoke about. Did not get his name but he said let me go check out everything. I told him this seem like a gimmick . Oh no its not. I set there for about an hour and 30minutes . He came back and said you will need a co-signer. I told him I came all this way thinking that everything was good and I confirmed with Logan and he said that I did not need a co-signer. Yall cant honor what he said because I do have the text also stating everything that was said.He said unfortunatley there is no way we can help with out it. This was a waste of my time and very poor service. I will not recommend this place at all.
