Advertised Stock # ML033760 2021 RDX for $44,914.

Advertised Stock # ML033760 2021 RDX for $44,914. I emailed the dealership asking for all added fees. Osvaldo Lopez replied and questioned what fees I was asking about. I could not get a straight answer. I drove over 40 miles from Plano and test drove the car. I liked it and when they brought me the offer they added over $5000 in reconditioning and other hidden fees .The fees made the car over $50.000. This was not including TT&L. this is a dis honest "Bait and Switch". Park Place and Goodsen Acura's online price is the price. Thanks for wasting my time Osvaldo and Vandergriff Acura. I even showed them the work sheet from Goodsen on Stock # LML03923 showing nothing other than TT&L. The sale manager blew me off and walked away. The advertised price on line is "Bait and Switch". Do yourself a favor and buy from anyone other than Vandergriff Acura. I am sure this deceptive business model goes on at all their dealerships.

RUN!

RUN!!! STAFF FULL OF LIARS AND POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. They give you the run around with prices, and if the they service your vehicle and the problem is not solved, don't look for a refund or even quality service to look into your issue deeper. They are excellent at giving the customer ALOT of excuses, it's almost as if they are reading a script. It's laughable. If I could give less than one star I definitely would. The only service they seem competent to do is an oil change and tire rotation. Vandergriff Acura do better.

Bad Dealer Tatics

Don't fall for their car-selling tactics! The "I already checked with the manager deal" because what will happen is they would check with the manager and make a deal but as soon as they run a hard inquiry on your credit with several loan companies, the deal changes and they cannot honor the deal. Then the finance department got me with the "this is the agreed terms" and it was a low interest and low payments I signed off on everything and they ran my credit. Come to find out, that Monday, the top guy, Oludare Adebanjo called me back again to tell me that they couldn't agree to the terms that I signed and finalized. They allowed me to leave the dealership and told me I had to come back and sign a new contract! I should've not signed the new contract and allowed the original contract to stay legally bearing but they were covering their malpractice. I went from a 7.75% deal to almost 13% interest with the new contract. Go in with your own finance from a bank and not with them. 6 months later I came back in to see if I could refinance with them and they made it sound like they were confident I could get a lower APR because they talked with the manager. They ran my credit, I waited in the cold sitting area by that soda machine then they all gathered in an office for a meeting all of them came out and he broke the news to me that the refinance APR wasn't a good deal. Don't fall for the empty promises they make before they run your credit. Right after I left the dealership, I used Upstart and got my APR and monthly payments lower than what they offered.

I traded my 2009 dodge ram 1500 and $700 for a 2013 Ford

I traded my 2009 dodge ram 1500 and $700 for a 2013 Ford edge. The Ford edge has a alot of issues that didnt appear until a week after I bought it. I've spent $1000 on it already and now the transmission has went out. When I called to get it fixed they hung up on me. Never go here.

My husband and I recently purchased a used 2021 TLX

My husband and I recently purchased a used 2021 TLX A-Spec. Before stepping into the details, I’ll just say this Vandergriff Acura truly is a top notch dealership and one I’d highly recommend. Before Vandergriff, I thought my previous dealer Sewell BMW was as good as it gets but Vandergriff impressed both of us with a truly relaxed no pressure buying experience. Though we loved the car, when it came to interest rates being high, trade in value we were over budget yet our salesman Osvaldo as well as Shawn in finance really pulled out all the stops to make it work for us and we signed the papers and drove off happy. When we got home however, (it was dark when we purchased) we discovered scratches on the car that had we noticed in person or even via the pics online we would’ve likely not gone ahead with it. I realized we bought the car as is and should’ve caught it (it was 9pm or so when we left) so I polished the best I could but the scratches were so severe on the bumper and side door (down to plastic and metal) that it needed to be done professionally. We called the GM, explained the situation in that the car wasn’t ready for sale. We even admitted we should’ve caught the scratches and would be happy to meet in the middle to lower the repair cost or it would leave a bad taste in what was otherwise a wonderful dealership experience. Other dealers would’ve said, nah you bought as-is you’re on your own. Vandergriff Acura did the exact opposite and took care of it free of charge! Osvaldo got our car in the following week and even put us in a loaner Acura TLX (not just something from a rental car lot) and was in constant communication with us throughout the process. We now have the car back and we couldn’t be happier with it and the way Vandergriff Acura and Osvaldo handled the situation makes us recommend them even more so. If you’re in the market for an Acura GO to Vandergriff and ask for Osvaldo. He will take great care of you!

False work order when no work was needed!

I purchased my Jeep Cherokee from Vandergriff Acura dealer. They said it needed extensive work on the right front tie rod assembly area. The estimate for repair was approximately $2900. We took it in for a free oil change at the Acura dealer! I've purchased 4 vehicles from Vandergriff Acura. I wonder how many other repairs were done and didn't need repair. They said they would take it to Classic for repair. I said, why don’t I take my vehicle in for repair, it was still under manufacture's warranty. Classic Dodge Jeep in Arlington Tx. evaluated the Jeep and found nothing wrong with the vehicle. The service writer said, trust me, if the Jeep had problems our service techs work on commission, they would have found it! Classic is exactly as their name implies and they are honest! Thank you Classic Chrysler Dodge in Arlington Tx. I called the service writer at Vandergriff and had no response from Vandergriff Acura! I felt so betrayed!

Bought my son a car here.

Bought my son a car here. Very pushy salesperson and selling me extended warranty. Car was totaled 3 months later when a 18 wheeler rear ended it. I called to get some basic information to file w insurance. They were rude to me. I would never buy another car here. Go to Sewell dealership.

Kevin has been my service advisor, just miss the s

I go to Kevin in the service department so much but never get email for reviews on service. the last 4 times aleast he has helped me. I got new tires, he advises me on everythin best he think for my car. he cares and is trust worthy... so dissapointed I cant ever write a review. He is so competent and knowledgable .he is at vandergriff arlington
