I visited Mike Calvert Toyota on May 26, 2025, after seeing a 2025 Toyota Grand Highlander Hybrid XLE listed on their official website for $50,628. I came prepared with documentation, including the VIN and a screenshot of the online listing. When I arrived at the dealership, I was given a written quote for $59,984.24 — nearly $10,000 more than the advertised price. I was told the lower price included a trade-in value, even though that condition was not clearly stated online. This kind of pricing bait-and-switch is deceptive and unethical. As a marketing professional, I find it deeply disappointing that a dealership would engage in misleading practices. It wastes the customer’s time and erodes trust. If there are conditions tied to the advertised price, they should be made clear and upfront, not revealed only after you walk into the store. I strongly urge potential buyers to be cautious and verify everything in writing before visiting this dealership.

I bought a 4 runner with 500 miles on it.

I bought a 4 runner with 500 miles on it. Brought it home, only to back out of my drive way to hear this awful screeching noise coming from my brakes. Took it back to have them fix the breaks and was told nothing could be done. That Toyota was aware that 4 runners were having this issue and hasn't come up with a solution yet. I called the salesman, DeAngelo, to question him on why I was not told about this issue before I spent over $50,000 on this 4 runner. I also asked him to admit that he knew the brakes were making this noise (He conveniently had the car backed in so I only had to pull forward to test drive and when I picked it up he had it backed in so I only had to put it in drive to take it home). He proceeded to tell me that he could no longer discuss this matter with me and hung the phone up. I've always loved Toyota but this has left a terrible taste in my mouth. They are literally telling me there is not solution to fix the problem. How about this....how about they take their car back and give me my money back! How's that for a solution? I'm not okay with this and wanted to make everyone aware of this problem with Toyota 4 runners and this salesman, Deangelo! Avoid both at all costs.

Mike Calvert Toyota was friendly and inviting from the get go. I was contacted by Marcy via Text as soon as I made an online inquiry, and she and I worked out a plan to come in. She set me up with an awesome sales rep (shout out to Jennifer G!) and, with no hassles and all my questions answered, I walked out with a new car and a solid deal! I am in disbelief that this dealership will not honor its

I am in disbelief that this dealership will not honor its word. I test drove AND purchased a vehicle on March 13th. I have been trying ever since then to get someone, ANYONE, to help me with the promised $50 gift card advertised for the test drive. I have purchased two vehicles from Mike Calvert since 2023. I'll never purchase from them again. The individuals were great to work with during the process, but now that it's done, no one cares to make anything right.
