no-charge second look at another Toyota dealership's fuel

no-charge second look at another Toyota dealership's fuel pump and float sensor replacement. Advised fuel pump, sensor, fuses and connections all checked out ok. 13 mile test ride showed gauge function normal after I advised service advisor that on last tank of gas took approx 70 miles until fuel gauge malfunctioned. Now 67 miles later and just under 1/4 tank gas used when it's usually 90-100. Unable to find anything wrong, technician instead recommended 9 critical repairs. Some preventative, perhaps 2 really applied but they have to get some money out of this. Gauge malfunction remains same as it did for both dealerships. Videos and on-line reports can only be viewed once, so not sure if driver's side rear mud flap was destroyed before or during service.

Denise, we typically recommend services that will prolong the life of a vehicle and help it to continually perform at peak efficiency. As for the other issues, sometimes problem don't always manifest themselves in a manner that we are able to diagnose. We went through the entire system and was not able to find an issue.
