Six hour drive for...nothing!

Not sure what to say about a business that so indifferently wastes six hours of a prospective customer's time. My wife, interested in a used car here after talking with a salesman several times, scheduled an appointment for 1:30 today to buy the car. Because we were traveling three hours from Kansas City, I made her call twice this morning before we left to ensure the car would be there when we arrived, and was told there would be no problem (Just to make sure, she also texted the sales rep and his manager to let them know we were on the way). You know the rest: we arrived and the car was gone. Six hours time and two tanks of gas wasted. And the manager seemed not at all contrite.

Awesome job!

I highly recommend Max Romero at mid-west kia in Wichita, Ks.. I was looking for a nice car for my family and I told him specifics of what I was looking for and he tried his hardest to find what I was looking for and found me a car within 2 days! Keep up the good work!

Marcus and Midwest Kia are the absolute best!

If you are looking for a salesperson that truly cares about your experience, look no further! Marcus made this car buying experience the best I have had! The dealership and the ENTIRE staff from the front desk, to the Finance Dept., to Management, were all super friendly! They treat every customer like they are a VIP. I would recommend Midwest Kia/Marcus to ANY of my family and friends!

Byron works hard to meet your needs for a vehicle!

We were pleasantly surprised how hard Byron worked to find us an SUV that matched all of our desires: low mileage, mechanically sound, plenty of room for driver and passengers to be comfortable on long trips, and price.

Great Staff

Great staff! I enjoyed the service as I was visiting my daughter from out of town, looked at vehicles while I waited but wasn't pressured to buy. My experience is mostly negative reviews seem to be misleading.. More of a user error. IMO

Horrible

I just brought a Nissan Pathfinder from them. Haven't even had the car 2 months before my transmission started going out. The also said I drove it almost 3000 miles in that time frame which was a lie I haven't even driven it 1000 miles yet. So they scammed me out of almost $14,000 and as a single mom of three kids and now no viechele I can't do anything with my kids

SCAMMERS

Horrendous place! My whole family (Mom, Dad, & just recently my sister & I) have had TERRIBLE experiences there. NEVER go to this dealership you’re dealing with morons and leaches just trying to scam you out of money. STORYTIME: So my sisters goes in Thursday afternoon and talks to a sales man Cannon and test drives a car and she said she’ll take it and come by Friday morning with my mother to drop off the check. All the paperwork with the bank was all done and was ready to go. Then they proceed to text my mom and say someone’s looking at the car and then tells her that the car sold. Absolutely ridiculous. Then the manager calls my mom to tell her that the sales man should have never showed my sister that car because it was supposedly “SOLD” already. Mind you the same sales man texted my mom saying that someone was looking at the car and that someone else bought it. I don’t know what kind of sick game this people are playing but I would avoid this place at ALL cost!

Top ranked buying experience.....

Forewarning, this will be a long review, but it’s a good one. If I could give more than five stars, I would. I live roughly 2.5 hours away from this dealership. To begin with, we were in the market for a 2021 Kia K5 EX w/ Premium Package. Inventory meeting those specifications are limited. We worked with roughly five dealerships around our area before coming across Midwest Kia in Wichita. I would give anything to have nixed all those previous experiences and found them straight away. The experiences with the Kia dealerships before Midwest Kia were beyond awful, especially the one in Manhattan. You can read that review for yourself. My husband and I are car enthusiasts, so we have bought and traded our fair share. We know the ins and outs, do’s, and don’ts. As mentioned, we live roughly 2.5 hours away, so after some online research, we came across Marcus Wise, who had stellar reviews. We emailed him our trade information and gave the info on the car we were interested in Tuesday evening (near closing time). He gave it to the General Sales Manager, Joe Konen, the next day (yesterday), and let me tell you, this was the best experience we have ever had (outside of the Lexus dealership in KC, they were terrific to work with too). Joe was top-notch. He was knowledgeable, prompt, straight to the point, no BS, and went above and beyond for us. We worked everything out over the phone yesterday afternoon. By 3:30 pm, we were on our way to Wichita to pick up the car. Joe had the paperwork being processed and emailed us for digital signatures while we were on the road. As soon as we pulled up, Marcus greeted us promptly and enthusiastically. Come to find out, it was his day off, and he came in because they informed him that we were coming to get the car that night. I could go on and on about how great and effortless the process was. The car was ready, the paperwork we had to sign was ready, and we were in and out in probably 45min and back on the road. That’s how buying a car should be. No-haggle, no BS, and no taking advantage of the customer while keeping them in the dealership for 3-5 hours. Dealing with the finance side of buying a car is usually no fun. With that being said, I must give a huge shout-out to Max Romero. He was a pleasure to work with and knew that we were in a hurry, so he got us in and out while still being super friendly and helpful. He kept a conversation going with us while shuffling the papers quickly, talent right there. I HIGHLY recommend this dealership and will more than likely be a repeat customer.
