I am writing this review after multiple attempts to address my concerns with the sales manager, Raul, who has since stopped responding. My daughter purchased her first car from Mercedes of Santa Monica just two months ago, and it has already begun to break down. The car has shut off completely while driving on the freeway, putting her and others at risk. It also shakes violently, has the check engine light on, and several other warning lights. When she approached the dealership for help, they refused to assist her. Instead, they attempted to sell her a new car, proposing a trade-in with an additional $2,500 down payment for a high-end Mercedes that is far beyond her budget. She initially put down $6,500 on a vehicle valued at $15,000 but purchased for $25,000. I believe they took advantage of her from the start, but that’s in the past. It's disheartening that a company making substantial profits would neglect to address a vehicle that is endangering lives on the road, sending her away in tears. At just 19, she is trying to start her life, and now she must save up to repair a car with only 30,000 miles on it. Where is the moral compass of these salespeople? This level of customer care is simply unacceptable.

I have been a loyal customer of W.I. Simonsen for 20+ years and my recent experience was exceptional. Marcus Jerry is the absolute best along with his assistant Karen and Elias in finance who expedited my paperwork. I would not ever go elsewhere for my Mercedes!
