Jeep Buying Experience made Pleasurable

We purchased our 2011 Jeep Liberty with the knowledgeable assistance of Alfonso. From answering all our many questions, to getting the Jeep serviced with after market accessories, the personalized service we received was excellent! Our experience with Deery Bro. was wonderful.

Courteous and professional service

I purchased 2014 Jeep Cherokee Limited yesterday. Zac was my salesman and did and outstanding job. He was quick to respond to my inquiry via email and we communicated also using phone and texts. Zac was prompt and respectful of my time. He made the shopping experience so stress free and his is very knowledgable about the products he sells. Jeremy shopped around and got a superb rate for me so I felt the entire experience was excellent. The facilities currently are not the best but they are breaking ground on their new auto campus that appears to be beautiful! Thanks Deery Brothers.

Save money and drive to Ankeny.

I wanted to support the local dealership but if you want to get the best deal & value shop elsewhere. Do your research and you'll find their "market value pricing" to be a complete joke. Do yourself a favor and check out Dewey in Ankeny, they got us a significantly lower rate and the manager came out right away to negotiate instead of the back & forth game with the sales person most dealerships play. We ended with a better rate, better price, and better service all around.

Purchased 2013 T & C Minivan

I purchased a 2013 T & C Minivan at Deery Brothers and must say it was a very pleasant experience. There was no endless waiting etc. They were efficient and very considerate with no pressure applied. By far the best experience I ever had in the 5 autos I've purchased over the years.

Fantastic Service

This was my first experience with a dealership and I have to say it was not what I was expecting. I used cars.com to help narrow down the cars I was interested in and found a few at Deery Brothers that I thought would work great. I met with Alex F. and he helped me find a car that fit exactly what I needed well within my budget. He even had to do double the work after I changed my mind last minute but was still just as helpful and friendly. Unfortunately I did have a small issue with the car a few weeks after purchasing it but Mark Chasey was able to have it fixed and back to me in no time with no additional cost to myself. I would highly recommend anyone who is interested in purchasing a new or used car to check out Deery Brothers. At no time I felt pressured and they were very honest at what sort of car would fit my needs even though that meant not necessarily selling me the most expensive car. Alex F. was very personable and made the test driving experience enjoyable. I would like to thank Mark and everyone at Deery Brothers for helping this new grad start off on the right foot.

Market Value Pricing, maybe but not buying

I suddenly found myself in the market for a minivan and shopping around for something you don?t really want proved to be difficult. My husband and I found one we could agree on at Deery Brothers of Ames, but they wouldn?t give us enough for his truck to make the payments work. After more searching we kept coming back to the same van so I decided to trade-in my car. The payments still would not work so Mark sat in the chair between me and the exit to the salesman?s cubicle and we discussed financing options, not giving me more for my car. I felt trapped literally and figuratively. To make matters worse, I now see they?re making a mint on my car. I understand that a business needs to make a profit and they cannot offer me as much for my car as they?re going to sell it for, but a 43.1% mark-up is ridiculous! If they would have given me what I wanted for my car they still would?ve had over a 20% mark-up which I would think would be sufficient. I MIGHT buy from them again but I will note trade in a car there.

I want to apologize for making you feel uncomfortable and trapped. My intention was to never put you in that situation but rather make the transaction smooth and easy. And I failed to do that for you. I am sorry. We take many variables into consideration when placing a value on a trade-in. Not only reconditioning costs but also the vehicle history report. Our concern is the accident with a train on the report. We have no way of knowing how that will impact a customer who is considering purchasing the car, and how it will impact the car's value if we don't sell it retail and need to sell it wholesale. We strive to provide competitive pricing on all our cars we offer for sale and trade-ins we appraise.
